Dr. Tang laughed heartily, "It’s me. I thought perhaps you didn’t remember me."

Yun Xizi’s palms became somewhat stiff as she ran her fingers through her hair, her expression grew slightly uneasy.

After listening to their conversation, Nana’s gaze darted back and forth between them, "Dr. Tang, Yunzi, you two knew each other before?"

"Tang Heping, my high school classmate," Yun Xizi introduced, yet a blush crept onto her cheeks.

Nana had known Yun Xizi for quite some time and could tell at a glance that Yun Xizi was actually shy. She immediately smiled teasingly, "Classmates? I feel like there’s more to it than that. Dr. Tang, Yunzi, are you hiding something from me?"

Dr. Tang, however, admitted generously, "I pursued her in high school, but unfortunately, I was rejected."

Yun Xizi looked at Dr. Tang in astonishment, then quickly turned her head away, too embarrassed to meet his gaze.

Nana, upon hearing this bombshell gossip, became excited at once.

Seeing Nana’s reaction, Yun Xizi quickly leaned in, showing both concern and quickly changing the subject.

Nana clutched her chest, couldn’t help but grimace, and laid back down properly.
