Loser to Legend: Gathering Wives with My Unlimited Money System -
Chapter 92: Maximilian’s House
Chapter 92: Maximilian’s House
Maximilian took the wheel this time.
And he drove like a maniac.
He tore through the city streets like his car was on fire. The tires screeched with every sharp turn, the pedestrians jumped out of the way, and traffic signals were treated like vague suggestions instead of laws. Horns blared, curses were shouted, but Maximilian didn’t give a single shit.
Leonardo, on the other hand, gripped the passenger seat like it was a life raft.
"Bro—! What the fuck—! You’re gonna kill someone!"
"I don’t care!" Maximilian barked. "That bastard is dead!"
Leonardo ducked as they ran a red light and nearly clipped a delivery drone. "I swear, if we get fined for this, my old man’s gonna gut me alive!"
"You think I give a shit about fines? My dad’s the damn Chief. I’ll wipe the ticket with his badge if I have to!"
Leonardo stared at him for a second, wide-eyed, then groaned. "You’re insane."
"Yeah? Just wait till I get my hands on Xavier."
They blasted down a bridge, engines roaring, neon lights blurring past.
Then Leonardo asked something that made Maximilian’s grip tighten on the wheel.
"How the fuck did Xavier even get into your house? You got bio-locks, sensor IDs, hell—even retinal scan for the bedroom. If he broke in, the whole system would’ve gone into lockdown."
Maximilian didn’t say anything at first.
Then, under his breath, he muttered, "I gave Cindy access."
Leonardo stared at him like he’d just confessed to war crimes.
"You what?"
"I gave her access months ago. She wanted to surprise me on my birthday, remember?"
Leonardo exhaled hard and slammed the dashboard. "So all this shit... all this is your fault, bro. You let the fox into the henhouse."
"I didn’t know she’d let that bastard in!" Maximilian barked back.
"Well, maybe you should’ve kept your girl satisfied instead of relying on Lucas’s damn leftover mods to carry the show!"
They didn’t say another word after that.
Ten minutes later, they reached Maximilian’s place. The gates opened on face scan, and the car screeched to a stop just outside the mansion.
They rushed in.
Straight to the second floor. Maximilian didn’t even bother taking the stairs properly—he vaulted the last three steps, slammed open the bedroom door—
And stopped.
Cindy was there.
Sprawled out naked on the bed.
The room looked like it had survived a category-five cum-quake. The sheets were soaked and stained, twisted like they’d been through war. The walls had streaks. The windows had streaks. The goddamn desk had streaks. Even the floor had fucking footprints in it.
And Cindy? Still passed out, legs wide open, the taste of sex thick in the air. Her pussy glistened, swollen and dripping. She looked used. No—worshipped. Her body wore the aftermath like a badge of honor.
Leonardo gagged.
"Holy shit," he mumbled, covering his nose. "This room smells like a fucking breeding lab."
Maximilian stormed in, checking behind the curtains, under the bed, even the bathroom. Nothing. No sign of Xavier.
"Fuck!"
Leonardo peered back into the hallway, just in case. "Looks like he ran before we got here."
Maximilian gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. His eyes locked onto the bed again. On Cindy. On the mess Xavier had left behind like a signature.
He was too late.
Maximilian stormed out of the room, jaw clenched, eyes burning.
"It doesn’t matter!" he snapped.
Leonardo chased after him. "Wait—where are we going now?"
"To the Nexus Tower again," Maximilian barked without looking back.
Leonardo grabbed his shoulder. "Max! Slow down. There’s no guarantee Xavier’s gone back to his apartment. He knows we’re after him. He’s not an idiot—he might’ve dipped somewhere else."
Maximilian spun on him, face twisted in rage. "Then what the fuck are we supposed to do, huh?!"
Leonardo stayed quiet.
"Should we just sit back and do nothing?! Let him fuck my girl again while we sit around like fucking clowns?!"
"There’s nothing we can do," Leonardo said finally, voice calm, like he was trying to handle a live bomb.
BAM!
Maximilian punched the wall. The metal reinforcement in his cybernetic hand recoiled violently, leaving a crack in the polished ceramic paneling.
"HE FUCKED HER TWICE!" he screamed. "In my room! In my fucking bed! And I couldn’t do a damn thing!"
Leonardo hesitated, then muttered, "There... might be one way."
Maximilian’s head snapped up. "How?"
Leonardo adjusted his coat. "We wait near the academy. Sooner or later, he’s gotta show up. When he does... we corner him somewhere quiet. Finish the job."
"And we can call Lucas and Ethan too. If they’re with us, it’ll be easier. No way Xavier can handle all of us together," he added.
"No!" Maximilian shouted.
Leonardo blinked. "Why not?"
"They can’t know about this," Maximilian hissed. "If Lucas finds out Xavier fucked Cindy? I’m finished. You know how Lucas sees her—he dumped her. If he finds out I picked up his leftovers and even got cheated on, I’m out."
Leonardo lifted both hands, defensive. "Relax. I’m just saying, Lucas already wants to kill him. If they’re with us, it’ll be easier—"
"If they find out," Maximilian interrupted, stepping close, his voice dropping cold, "you’re next."
Leonardo raised an eyebrow but didn’t argue. The silence between them stretched—until a sudden whining noise broke it.
Both of them turned.
"...Was that...?"
Leonardo tilted his head. "Someone’s here? Or maybe a cleaning bot?"
Maximilian shook his head. "No one’s supposed to be home. And all bots are scheduled for morning clean-up only."
They both bolted downstairs, following the noise. The sound led them to the laundry room.
The dryer was humming.
Steam fogged the inside. A pair of neatly spun pants rolled lazily, then a blazer. A school blazer.
Leonardo narrowed his eyes. "Wait... is this yours?"
CRACK!
Maximilian punched him across the jaw.
"We’re both suspended, dumbass. Why the fuck would there be a school uniform in the wash?"
Leonardo held his cheek, stunned. "Alright... fair point."
Then came another sound.
Hisssssshhh...
Water dripping sound.
Someone was taking a shower.
