Chapter 90: Revenge Time

Lunch break. The cafeteria was noisy as usual, filled with students who thought their lives mattered.

Xavier and Oliver sat at their usual spot, trays in front of them. Xavier ate his food like he wasn’t hungry, just bored.

Oliver chomped down a fry. "So... how was the date last evening?"

Xavier didn’t look up. "I’m never going on a date again."

Oliver blinked. "Huh? What happened?"

Xavier calmly laid it all out — the movie, the dinner, the master suite, the fangs, the gun. And what came after it.

By the time he finished, Oliver was halfway through his drink and fully shocked. "Damn. You really kicked her out like that?"

"She started it," Xavier muttered, "not me."

"Still, man. That was kinda harsh on her," Oliver said, scratching his cheek.

Xavier raised a brow and turned to him. "Harsh? Why should I treat someone better when they tried to feed on me like a blood bank?"

Oliver hesitated, then leaned in a little. "Listen... Vampires are a conservative race. Real private. Most of ’em avoid mixing with humans or other species. When a vampire asks someone for blood, it’s not just for hunger. It means they trust you. That they see you as their equal."

Xavier stabbed a piece of meat with his fork. "And? That’s supposed to mean something to me?"

"I mean, it kind of should."

"It doesn’t," Xavier said flatly. "And if she wanted it, she could’ve just asked. I might’ve let her."

Oliver looked around, lowered his voice. "That’s not how surprises work, Xavier. They’re meant to shock you. That’s kind of the point."

Xavier tilted his head. "You think I don’t know what a surprise is?"

"That’s not what I meant—"

"I’ve only ever been surprised when the world decided to fuck me sideways," Xavier said, pushing his tray slightly away. "Never had anyone surprise me with a gift or something good. So maybe I don’t like surprises, Oliver. Or maybe she ’sucked’ at giving surprises?"

"Did you just curse, and also made a pun at the same time?"

"Ah... I cursed again. I don’t know... I am getting influenced. I am cursing without even realizing."

Oliver raised his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay. I’m not saying you were wrong. She was wrong too. You both kinda messed up."

"She messed up. I just didn’t play dumb."

"Well, whatever. I still think you should talk it out. Apologize, maybe."

"For what?"

"To fix it. Look, correcting a mistake is noble. And if anyone should know how to do that, it’s you."

Xavier sighed. "If I see her again, and she apologizes first, maybe. Otherwise, I’m not chasing someone who tried to treat me like a juice pouch."

Oliver raised both hands higher now, grinning. "Your drama, not mine. I’m staying out of it. I was just giving advice, but I am not responsible for any fuck ups."

Xavier was wearing his glasses with the custom os and extra added features in it, which he was already utilizing. And unlike the latest model, whose frame is a give out to anyone wearing glasses. The old one’s frame was just like the normal glass. Not only that, but since Xavier was using a custom os, it was designed the way that if anyone other than Xavier wore those glasses, it would work as normal glasses. In short, it was impossible for anyone to tell that Xavier wasn’t wearing normal glasses.

"Oliver," Xavier said. "Get a custom OS for your glasses, too."

"I already use all the services. I don’t need anything else."

"You say that until you realize how much you’re missing."

Oliver shrugged. "Still works fine for me."

Xavier didn’t push it. He just pulled out his phone, leaned slightly to the side, and started typing.

To: Maximilian

Message 1:

[Hey. Just letting you know in advance—I’m fucking your girlfriend again after school today.]

Message 2:

[You want me to record it from a certain angle this time? Maybe POV so you can finally pretend she’s actually moaning for you?]

Message 3:

[Any preferences for position this time? Doggy again? Or you want me to try missionary so she can pretend it’s you? Wanna pick a cosplay outfit too? Or maybe a roleplay where I make her call your name while pounding her from behind?]

Message 4:

[Let me know before 5. I wanna prep the setup and lighting right.]

No emojis. No sarcasm. Just raw insult with a surgical blade of dominance.

Maximilian didn’t reply.

But Xavier didn’t need a reply.

Because sometimes silence was the loudest scream.

Now, Xavier was simply waiting for the school hours to end.

He leaned back in his seat, arms crossed behind his head, staring at the classroom ceiling like it owed him something. The minutes ticked by. Slow. Calm. Steady. But somewhere else, far from calm...

Maximilian was in his room, fuming. Pacing like a madman. His eyes locked onto his cracked phone screen, Xavier’s messages still open, taunting him.

His fists were clenched. His whole body shook.

"That son of a bitch! I’m going to kill him!" he shouted, kicking a chair across the room. It hit the wall and snapped in two. "Does he think I can’t get to him just because I’m suspended?! I know where you live, bitch! I’m gonna kill you in your fucking apartment!"

He yanked up his phone and called his group chat.

Lucas. Ethan. Leonardo.

But after a second, he killed the call.

"No... I can’t let them know Xavier fucked Cindy. If Lucas and Ethan find out... they’ll kick me out. Shit, shit!"

His breath was heavy. Heart hammering in his chest. Rage boiling over.

Then—an idea hit him.

"I’ll call Leonardo. He’s loyal. And his family’s broke compared to mine. He won’t snitch."

He called Leonardo.

Told him to come to his place.

Told him they were going to kill Xavier.

But killing someone wasn’t the same as bullying them. You had to plan. Hide the body. Clean the mess. Make sure no one traced it back to you.

And Xavier?

Xavier wasn’t some scared loser anymore. He was dangerous. Powerful. Untouchable.

Maximilian sat down, tapping his finger against the desk.

"I could wait at Nexus Tower... follow him home... stab the fuck outta him right at his doorstep..."

But then the image popped in his head. Xavier, walking out of the academy with that smug face, hands in his pockets, after blowing Cindy’s back out again.

"No. I can’t let that happen. I have to kill him before he touches her. Before he even sees her!"

He checked the time.

There was still a little while left before school ended.

"But fuck... I’m suspended. I can’t just walk into the academy like I used to."

He slammed the desk.

"Last time, he fucked her in the toilet. I have to lure him out!"

He grabbed his phone, tried calling Cindy.

No answer.

Again. No answer.

"Pick up, you cheating slut!"

Nothing.

Then, new plan. He started texting random classmates. Bribing them. Offering credits, money, favors—just to get Xavier out of the school building.

No one replied.

No one was biting.

It wasn’t fear of him anymore. It was Xavier they didn’t want to mess with.

"They would’ve done it if Lucas asked... or even Ethan..."

His jaw clenched. "Looks like I’ll need to remind everyone who the fuck I am once I’m back. My suspension ends before theirs anyway."

An hour passed.

He and Leonardo sat in the car near the academy gate.

Still no Xavier.

The sun was dipping into the skyline, painting the glass towers orange.

Leonardo sighed. "Maybe he didn’t show up today. Let’s just go to the tower."

Maximilian didn’t move.

He knew why Xavier hadn’t come out yet.

He could feel it in his gut.

That fucker was in there. Somewhere inside the academy. With Cindy.

Cindy... his girlfriend...

His hands trembled as he picked up his phone again.

He called her.

No answer.

Called again.

Still nothing.

He clenched his teeth and tried one last time—

Click.

The call connected.

But no one spoke.

Instead, he heard it.

Moans.

Wet, breathy, real moans.

Cindy’s voice. Gasping. Pleading. Whimpering in pleasure.

"Cindy?! Cindy!! WHAT THE FUCK?!" he screamed into the phone.

Only more moans answered back. Faster. Louder.

He didn’t know if Xavier had answered the call or if Cindy’s clumsy fingers had hit the button.

Didn’t matter.

He knew that sound.

She never moaned like that with him.

Maximilian’s grip on his phone tightened as he stared at the screen. The screen cracked under his fingers, but he didn’t care. He could hear it, those damn moans—Cindy’s moans. His blood boiled as he knew exactly what was going on.

The sickening realization hit him hard. "That bastard... he’s fucking her right now. Right inside the academy. And I can’t even get to him. No, he can’t be at the academy. Cindy is moaning so loudly and they will be suspended if they caught. Which means they are... at his apartment."

He slammed the phone against the dashboard, his knuckles white. "You’re going to pay for this, Xavier," he muttered under his breath. His heart was pounding, his thoughts racing faster than his anger could catch up with.

Maximilian’s mind was spiraling, bouncing between rage and desperation. He had been humiliated by Xavier time and time again. And now, this? This was the final straw. The thought of Xavier fucking Cindy made his vision blur with fury.

"Maximilian," Leonardo’s voice cut through his haze. "What’s going on with you, man? Are we heading to the Nexus or not?"

Maximilian snapped back to reality, still seething. "Yes. We’re going to the Nexus tower. If I can’t get to him here, I’ll get to him there."
