Yan Yuling quickly changed her clothes and left the bedroom. When she walked to the living room, she saw her husband watching a romantic movie and eating ice cream.

Feng Zhexuan noticed her footsteps, turned around and said with a smile, "Wife, are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"

Yan Yuling sat next to him and looked at the clock. She shook her head and said, "I will wait until dinner."

"You haven’t eating lunch, so don’t wait until dinner. I’m going to heat up a sandwich for you."

Since her husband already went to the kitchen, Yan Yuling didn’t refuse, "Thank you."

She leaned on the sofa and watched a movie, waiting for her husband.

The actors and actresses in this movie are all students, so their acting skills are awkward and inadequate. Although most people who have seen the movie say that the storyline is great, Yan Yuling was never satisfied with the movie.

She watched the protagonist couple argue over a misunderstanding, and then the heroine left the hero on a rainy night. The hero chases the heroine but gets into a car accident and falls into a coma.

The scene was heartbreaking and made many people cry, but for her, she felt nothing.

She wrote this scene after watching countless romantic dramas and movies. Tear-jerking parts in movies or TV shows are mostly similar. So, after she tweaked some parts and added some spice, her story became even more dog-blood and angsty.

She watched the movie without any emotion or expression, as if she was daydreaming. But as soon as Feng Zhexuan saw her, he knew that she was watching intently. But, she couldn’t feel any emotion.

At this moment, he felt that his wife might be a fairy who descended to earth and would return to the immortal world one day. She was near yet so far away and no matter how he tried, he couldn’t reach her.

He clenched his fists as the thought came to his mind, thinking that if they had children, maybe she would stay. Maybe, she would love their child, or at least be attached to their child.

Before he could think deeply about the idea, Feng Zhexuan rejected the idea.

Although he really wanted to have a child with his wife, he didn’t want to tie her down with a child. He wants her to stay with him willingly, and their child must be the fruit of their love, not the result of his calculation and schemes.

He handed his wife a glass of hot milk and said, "Wife, drink some milk first and then eat the sandwich."

When she turned around, she saw her husband wiping his eyes with a tissue. She looked at him and asked, "Husband, are you crying?"

She thought that men like to show their strong side and her husband would not admit that he cried.

Unexpectedly, her husband nodded and said with red eyes, "Wife, this story is so beautiful yet so sad. After experiencing so many misunderstandings and obstacles, they didn’t end up together. Even though they have a cute little baby, she lost her husband."

Yan Yuling looked at her husband’s face and fell silent.

After a while, she said, "But he died for her, and he will always live in her heart and memory. It wasn’t a bad ending for him."

Feng Zhexuan nodded and added, "It’s indeed not a sad ending for him, but it’s a sad ending for her. Although reluctant, he didn’t feel anything after he died. But the person who continues living has to bear the pain of losing the person she loves the most."

Then, he looked at his wife and said seriously, "Wife, I would rather us die together than live without you."

Yan Yuling was stunned by his words and lost in his eyes. When she saw his reddened yet firm eyes, lines of words came to her mind.

Her husband was indeed too beautiful for a man. As soon as she thought of this, she saw her husband stiffen and look at her in surprise.

"Wife, you..."

"What’s wrong?" she asked.

"Did you just compare me with the legendary four beauties?" Feng Zhexuan asked in disbelief.

When Yan Yuling heard what he said, she realized that she had actually spoken her mind. At this moment, she felt an uncomfortable feeling in her heart and wanted to run away.

She put the half-eaten sandwich on the table and said, "I’m sleepy. I’m going to bed."
