While Xing Xiayan almost died from being angered by Du Leilei, Yan Yuling was packing her luggage in the dormitory.

Not long after she finished packing her luggage, He Luyun opened the door. Seeing her bags, she asked, "Yuling, are you going somewhere? Didn’t you have some classes tomorrow?"

Yan Yuling thought her roommate would be surprised and didn’t expect her roommate to react like this.

Seeing He Luyun smiling like a villain, she said helplessly, "Luyun, my husband is not Gu Jianci. He is someone you don’t know."

Hearing this, He Luyun’s laughter stopped abruptly. She turned to look at her friend and asked, "It’s not him? Then who is it? Does Gu Jianci know you are married?"

"I plan to tell him today. My husband is just an ordinary person. I will introduce you to him when he is ready," Yan Yuling said.

He Luyun sat on her bed, pointed at her with an orchid finger gesture and said in disbelief, "Yan Yuling, how could you hide your marriage from me? Aren’t we best friends?"

He Luyun observed her for a while and found that Yan Yuling didn’t look like she was joking. She didn’t know if Gu Jianci would vomit blood out of anger and frustration when he learned that a random man suddenly appeared and married the goddess in his heart without any warning.

Thinking of his efforts to pursue Yan Yuling for so many years, He Luyun raised her chin and looked at the sky as she sighed, "Since ancient times, beauty has been the grave of heroes~ This is indeed true ah!"

Yan Yuling was too lazy to pay attention to her friend and said, "Luyun, I have to leave now. Let’s have a meal together another day."

"Did your husband ask you to go back early?" He Luyun teased her.

"I’m going to see Jianci," Yan Yuling said before leaving.

Looking at her back, He Luyun shook her head. Everyone knew about Gu Jianci’s feelings for her, but the target of the affection didn’t notice it even after so many years.

Is it because Gu Jianci has not taken action because he is afraid of losing his status as a friend? Or is it because Yan Yuling is too dense to realize he was pursuing her?
