After Lawyer Hao put down the phone, he left the room to make a call. Ten minutes later, he returned and picked up the phone.

"Mr. Feng, my client agreed to your request. However, besides taking Miss Xing out of the country, they want you to ensure that she never appears in front of Doctor Guan again."

The moment Feng Bohai heard this, a smile spread across his face. As he suspected, it was indeed the Guan family. He had known for a long time that Guan Wufeng and Xing Xiayan were in a relationship.

But he never mentioned anything because their relationship wouldn’t affect his plan. He could leverage Guan Wufeng’s ties with the Guan family and Feng Zhexuan instead. At the same time, the Guan family also benefited from Xing Xiayan, given her status as Feng Group’s young miss. Therefore, they weren’t opposed to the relationship.

Now that he was banished from the Feng family, Xing Xiayan, as his adopted daughter, had also lost her value. It was normal for the Guan family to seek a woman of higher status and value as Guan Wufeng’s wife and remove Xing Xiayan from their son’s side.

He also knew that Feng Zhexuan had been investigating his parents’ death and would sooner or later find the evidence. Rather than wait for death, it was better to leave the country. As long as he received the money, a comeback was not impossible.

Upon reaching this conclusion, Feng Bohai nodded and said, "Then it’s a deal."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lawyer Hao replied, "I will bail you out in half an hour. My client will prepare the money and plane ticket in an hour."

Feng Bohai was satisfied with the efficiency and said in a good mood, "Good."

Not long after he was escorted to the police cell, another police officer came over, followed by Lawyer Hao. He opened the cell and said, "Feng Bohai, you have been released on bail. You can leave now."

After hearing this, Feng Bohai stood up and walked to the door with a smile on his face. When he left the police station with Lawyer Hao, he said, "Lawyer Hao, can you take me back to my residence first? I need to get documents and change clothes."

Seeing his slovenly appearance, Lawyer Hao nodded and said, "Mr. Feng, we have prepared a car for you. Once you arrive at the airport, your money and tickets will be sent to you."

When Feng Bohai heard this, he raised his eyebrows and said, "Okay."

"Then I won’t accompany you any longer. Mr. Feng, have a nice flight," Lawyer Hao said, extending his hand.

Feng Bohai shook Lawyer Hao’s hand and said, "Please help me thank Chairman Guan for his generosity."

Lawyer Hao nodded and walked to his car. After he left, Feng Bohai looked at the two guards in front of him. He knew that these bodyguards were sent by the Guan family to monitor him.

Since they didn’t have conflict of interest, Feng Bohai didn’t pay too much attention to them and sat in the back. Following him, one guard sat in the back seat with him while another guard drove. They must have been notified in advance and drove directly to his house without asking about their destination.

Almost two hours later, they arrived at Feng Bohai’s villa. The car stopped at the door and he came out of the car. He looked at the guards and said, "You can wait here, or follow me in."

Hearing this, a guard said, "Mr. Feng, we were sent to protect you. So, we will follow you."

"Okay."

When they entered the house, Feng Bohai saw a layer of dust covering the furniture and floor. It was clear that after he was arrested, the servant thought he was done for and stopped working. He didn’t care about the things the servant had taken and went straight to his room to take a shower and change his clothes.

The bodyguards followed him to his room and waited. After he finished his shower, he went to pack his clothes and take his important documents.

Then, Feng Bohai went to his study and opened the safe. Inside were the gold and dollars he had prepared for an emergency. Thinking that he might need to kidnap Xing Xiayan if she refused to follow him, he took a small box and put it in his pocket.

When he came out of the study, he looked at the bodyguard and said with a smile, "Let’s go pick up my daughter."

An hour later, the car was parked in the Guan family’s private hospital underground parking lot. Feng Bohai looked at the guards and said, "I will go get my daughter. Both of you can wait here."

Since this was Guan family territory, the bodyguards weren’t worried about letting him go by himself. No matter what he did, he wouldn’t be able to escape. Besides, the money and plane ticket would only be given to him after he finished the task.

"Okay, make it quick," one of the bodyguards said coldly.

Feng Bohai glared at him but said nothing. Before he left the car, he put on a mask and a white wig. Having spent a long time in a police cell, he was thinner and looked more haggard.

At that moment, he looked no different from a patient as he coughed and walked with a hunched back. The bodyguard had already given him Xing Xiayan’s ward number, saving him the trouble of asking the nurses.

It didn’t take long for him to reach the VIP ward area. There were fewer patients in this section, so not many nurses or people were around.

Standing outside the VIP ward, he looked at his adopted daughter and smiled. He had never really looked at her closely before and had missed her beauty.

Now, seeing her like this, he finally understood why Guan Wufeng was so smitten with her. It would be a pity to kill such a beauty.
