This occurrence puzzled Zar, but girls had always been extremely hard-to-understand creatures in his eyes, so he didn’t put too much thought into it.

After a few minutes, the carriage they were comfortably riding in could be seen leaving the Capital of the Quixan Dynasty. It was around that point when several extraordinarily powerful divine senses swept over the land, originating from within the Capital City.

A second later, a lean and majestic-looking shadowy figure appeared within the moving carriage. It was Albion, who carried within its hands a towel covering a spherical object.

Not noticing Mei Yue’s astonishment over the sudden appearance of a shadow monster, Zar scanned the spherical object with his Lifespan Detection skill.

Albion nodded, with their secret conversation filling Mei Yue with confusion.

"Alright," Zar finally said something out loud, having seemingly ended his talk with Albion. "Go to the next objective. But do be cautious, the Twelve Omens Sect has placed half a dozen Deity Transformation Realm Elite Elders of theirs there, anticipating us to attack it next."

’Deity Transformation Realm!?’

Mei Yue had never heard of such a Realm, but if it existed, then it was definitely above the Nascent Soul Realm. A stage of myth; a stage that she could only ever imagine as being near omnipotent.

So this must mean this man who decided to help her for whatever reason was actually a genuine Immortal Powerhouse!

As Mei Yue’s respect for Zar exponentially grew, he instructed Albion to go all out if need be. Then he apathetically watched as the Named Shadow Beast vanished like a phantom.

Those powerful Divine Senses were immediately attracted toward the singular aura signature that Albion erupted with. Its white flaming power could be felt for thousands of miles, covering a distance of dozens of Districts.

Mei Yue looked outside the back of the carriage with her mouth agape. High in the sky, farther than the eye could see, flashing lights zipped around, parting the clouds and producing thundering explosions wherever they went.

Meanwhile, the one who lorded over an existence going toe-to-toe with even Peak Deity Transformation Realm Powerhouses was calmly sitting within a carriage he stole from a mob boss. He treated it like it was just another day, all while keeping an eye out on the activities of his other Shadow Beasts.

For reference, 2nd-rate Sects typically had territories spanning tens of thousands of miles, with the Void Crossing Realm being the peak of their Powerhouses.

Below them were 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th-rate Sects.

Above them were 1st-rate, Great Sects, and Supreme Sects.

Sects like the Blazing Sun Sect were Great Sects, which was the normal limit for a Kingdom like the Fire Kingdom. Supreme Sects, on the other hand, didn’t exist here.

Zar froze.

He stared at his smoking finger, then looked out at the huge line of destruction extending for hundreds of miles.

After flipping his blank gaze between the two a few more times, the silence surrounding him became deafening...

"I... I know nothing! I was never here!" Zar declared as he got out of there as quickly as possible.

He left the problem he caused to one of the many Deity Transformation Realm powerhouses racing toward the area as we speak. And without anyone the wiser, he returned to his humble abode, his cultivation but that of a mere 8th Layer Foundation Establishment Realm cultivator.

After a few moments...
