Once all 250+ of the Shadow Beasts were gathered into his shadow, Zar started spamming the hell out of the Shadow Beast Cultivation button. In the back of his mind, he just hoped that the Lifespan Barrier would hold up.

The last thing he needed was the attraction of the Blazing Sun Sect’s Powerhouses after sensing hundreds of new Soul Transformation Realm and above auras appearing out of nowhere...

Even with the presence of the Lifespan Barrier, it was impossible to not affect the surroundings with so much power being circulated among Zar and his Shadow Beasts. This subsequently resulted in everything for hundreds of miles experiencing violent tremors, as well as absurd surges of Natural Spiritual Energy as it got rapidly pulled toward an impossible-to-find spot.

Even this Outer Sect Branch’s Inner Sect Experts were alerted by this abrupt redirection of Natural Spiritual Energy.

Within mere seconds, Zar spotted dozens of Nascent Soul Realm Therians flying overhead. This worried him, but fortunately, every time they came close to discovering him, they passed right on by, still scouring the area.

Breathing in relief, Zar shifted all his focus to the breakthroughs of him and his Shadow Beasts.

First came the major breakthrough into the Soul Transformation Realm, which started off small but quickly escalated in intensity. Something intangible began to take shape next to Zar’s Nascent Soul; it looked almost identical to himself.

As more and more Natural Spiritual Energy swarmed toward Zar and his Shadow Beasts to assist in their breakthroughs, the Nascent Soul Realm Powerhouses in the area multiplied. It reached a point that, by the conclusion of Zar’s breakthrough, dozens of Nascent Soul Realm Therians could be seen flying all around.

Numerous more breakthroughs followed, including those attained by his Shadow Beasts.

After a couple hours of being unable to figure out what was siphoning so much Natural Spiritual Energy from the Outer Sect, Inner Disciples called for their Elders. This led to the suffocating pressures of Soul Transformation Realm Inner Elders popping up all over.

Everyone was scrambling in an attempt to figure out what was causing this anomaly, with many believing that the Demonic Faction was making another move. They couldn’t figure out why they’d do something so unorthodox, but it wasn’t like understanding the mind of the Demonic Faction was a simple task.

It must be the Demonic Faction!

They wish to cripple us!

Meanwhile, Zar had just finished his breakthrough into the 9th Layer Soul Transformation Realm. The Half-step Deity Realm was fast approaching, both for him and Albion.

They progressed their Cultivation Bases at basically the same speed, causing two immense auras to erupt most prominently within the Lifespan Barrier. Ripples spread throughout the Barrier’s surface, furrowing Zar’s brows.

But with another spike in Lifespan cost, the Lifespan Barrier returned to tranquility.

That was when another worry surfaced in his mind, for he wasn’t sure he had enough Lifespan left to cover the cost of keeping the Lifespan Barrier active...

Fuck it!

Just go all-in!

Taking a gamble, Zar ceaselessly absorbed the Natural Spiritual Energy in a thousand-mile radius. Albion did the same, with their cultivations shooting straight past the Half-step Deity Transformation Realm, going directly for the real deal!

RUMBLE!!!!

At the peak of their breakthrough into a higher level of existence, the whole of the Outer Sect was shaken to its core. The surroundings for thousands of miles had their Natural Spiritual Energy drained at an extreme rate, ashening the faces of even the Inner Elders.

"Isn’t this...?" one of the more powerful among them muttered, his own cultivation at the Half-step Deity Transformation Realm.

Out of everyone present, he who had been tirelessly working toward the next stage for the better part of a millennia, knew best what this degree of Natural Spiritual Energy Absorption represented...

"The Deity Transformation Realm," Valley Master Yu said from inside her home. "Someone is breaking through to the Deity Transformation Realm. No... two are..."

This was unprecedented!

Two powerhouses breaking through to the Deity Transformation Realm at the same time!? How was that even remotely plausible!?

In the Blazing Sun Sect, someone in the Deity Transformation Realm could be a very strong Inner Elder or Elite Disciple. So to have two of such highly respected figures emerge simultaneously was...

"Insane," Meng murmured, utterly in disbelief while watching visible streams of Natural Spiritual Energy drift through the skies before mysteriously vanishing. "I’ve never seen so much condensed Spiritual Energy in my whole life... Just what sort of Ancient Master is responsible for this...?"

Hua Ling, like all the other Disciples of Azure Medicine Valley, was also staring up at the huge movements of Natural Spiritual Energy. However, for some reason, she felt something within the drifting energy tendrils to be familiar.

Mo Ying, the sword fanatic Inner Disciple, also experienced a certain amount of familiarity with what was happening. But it was nowhere near as much as Hua Ling.

Valley Master Yu, on the other hand, was far too distracted by the clear signs of Deity Transformation Realm ascendance to even notice what Mo Ying and Hua Ling had.

Then came the climax of the ludicrous surges of Natural Spiritual Energy, as Zar and Albion smashed into the walls barring them from a higher form of existence.

In an instant, those walls broke like wet paper, allowing for two massive breakthroughs!

Deity Transformation Realm – Achieved!

The breakthroughs of the other Shadow Beasts to their limit stages added the icing on the cake, forcing astonishment onto the faces of everyone in the Outer and Inner Sect!

What was this ridiculous influx of energy caused by!?

Valley Master Yu couldn’t help but note that this level of energy traffic wasn’t too far off from what it was like when she broke through the 9th Layer of Deity Transformation outside the Sect. She felt that most of this wasn’t really because of the relatively minor surges of Spiritual Energy; rather, it could be attributed to a strange source of the Sword Dao coursing through the drained Spiritual Energy.
