Chapter 79: The Demi-God in Action

Kael had also felt some familiarity when he interacted with Rias’s Astral Projection, but that was all he could feel. So, he just sent memories of all the Animes he had watched to her.

Except for some special ones.

Rias didn’t even flinch, even when she received so much information all of a sudden, and quickly went through it, raising a brow. "You really are something else. And what was that? Animes... they seem interesting."

"You can go through your memories to watch them properly whenever you have time."

Kael stood up, dusted off his pants, and turned to Kiona.

"Kiona. Stand still. I’m going to transfer everything you need to know about the buildings into your Astral Body."

She blinked, her ears twitching. "You’re going to what now?"

She had heard their conversation but didn’t quite understand the situation.

"Just trust me," Kael smiled. "You definitely won’t feel pain. Just... a strange dream."

He reached for her Astral Projection just like he did with Rias. This time, it was far more vivid now that he had grown familiar with the view. Their thread formed easily, like two stars aligning.

He pushed forward the knowledge—structure types, rod layouts, foundational methods, binding agents, reinforcement styles. Everything.

Kiona gasped lightly, her pupils dilating as a barrage of information hit her soul, trying to imprint itself in her consciousness. She sensed she could actually reject it, but she ignored the pain and let it in.

She staggered a little before catching herself, breathing hard.

"I... I saw it. I saw everything. As if I was building them myself."

"Good," Kael grinned. "Now you lead the project."

"Y-Yes, Master!" she stammered, still reeling from the aftereffects of the transfer.

Then Kael turned toward the lion twins, his smile widening. "Jon. Seth. It’s your turn."

The two straightened up instantly, trying not to show their fear.

"Yes, Master!" they said in unison, knowing there was no way out.

Kael sent the knowledge again—this time, a long sequence of terrain analysis, elevation mapping, flow channels, water redirection methods, and stabilization points. The map of the canal from river to camp and then back into the river flowed into them like water in a basin.

Both groaned softly, their manes swaying in unison. The humongous beasts lowered their heads, feeling the new knowledge imprinted in their consciousness.

"We got it."

Kael sighed, feeling slightly exhausted, which confused him since he had already taken a lot of rest. He wondered, ’Is it because of Astral Vision?’

He quickly deactivated it following Alpha’s instructions and then turned towards Rias. "Is it this exhausting every time?"

"Yes, I assume," Rias nodded. "Only a strong soul with a strong presence in the Astral World could use the Astral Vision. Normally, C-Rank is the lowest rank one can open the Astral Vision, but you’re an exception."

Kael nodded in understanding and turned towards the vast vegetation growing around the Giant Storm Tree. This was the area he had declared as the North Borough, the land of their first residence.

While the lion family was integrating with the new knowledge, Kael decided to clear the plot first. He cracked his knuckles and said, "How fast can you clear the area?"

"Five seconds," Rias said as she casually took a step forward and stretched her hand into the void beside her.

Her forearm disappeared into the void, as if the air itself had eaten it, and then she retracted it, bringing out a beautiful purple-colored slick Katana.

Kael raised an eyebrow. "You can store your things like that?"

"Perhaps. I just do it on instinct and it always works," she shrugged lightly, as she brandished the purple blade. "How much do you want?"

"500 square metres should be enough," Kael stretched his arms to show her the length of a metre and then asked, "You don’t use your main Katana often?"

Rias paused for a second before replying in a calm voice, "It’s dangerous, even to me. I can feel it, so I keep it sheathed unless it’s really necessary."

Kael accepted the explanation, as Draven had also warned him. From his words, he concluded that the Katana was some kind of sentient treasure that had chosen Rias as its wielder.

He stepped aside to give her some space and watch the show. His eyes gleamed in excitement as this was the first time he would see a Demi-God in action, even if she wasn’t using even a fraction of her strength.

In the next second, Rias took a step forward and disappeared from her spot. Purple glow flashed across the forest before Kael, and it vanished in the moment he blinked.

His jaw dropped when he saw a vast land cleared of all trees and even grass. There was practically nothing left except for the land itself.

All of a sudden, the ground beneath him quaked as he hurriedly turned to his side, only to find a small hill of properly chopped wooden logs. On its side were the remaining materials—twigs, grass, leaves—everything in their own group.

Kael couldn’t help but be shocked when he realized that every leaf was precisely cut and there wasn’t a single scratch on them.

And amidst all of that stood this beautiful Demi-God with a casual look on her face, as if what she did was something very trivial.

She brandished her blade once again and then put it back in her secret space. Turning towards the stupefied Kael, she tilted her head slightly and asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

She swiftly took out the purple Katana again and looked at the work she had done. Realisation dawned as she muttered, "I cleared 510 square metres instead of 500 square metres. Should I turn the place just as it was previously?"

’The hell you mean turn the place back? You can do that?’ Kael was speechless and quickly stopped her before she did something else, "Stop! Stop! It’s fine. We can use the extra land too."

"Is that so..." Rias muttered to herself before throwing away the Katana. She then nodded to herself, a subtle smile playing on her lips. She seemed very pleased with her work.

’Seriously! How can she be so clueless at times?’ Kael wondered and realized that his upcoming days would be much more eventful than he had expected.
