Chapter 558: Chapter 202 - Becoming True

In the 16th century, the Franji people introduced a large number of black slaves from West Africa to South America.

These slaves painstakingly practiced martial arts that could be used for vengeance while their hands were bound. It is said that to avoid the watchful eyes of their slave masters, they practiced during gatherings where they reminisced about their homeland, disguising their practice as dance.

This martial art is called Capoeira.

"Capoeira" is not an exceptionally outstanding martial art. Its moves both have a long wind-up and recovery time, and it involves movements that do not fully conform to the basic design philosophy of the human body.

However, it also has significant advantages. Among attacks of the same level, Capoeira’s powerful moves are some of the most forceful.

The principle of many techniques in this martial art is the "Rolling Circle," accelerating the heavier and more muscular lower limbs to their limits.

The Solo Kill King used a similar move. He supported himself with one hand on the ground, extending his attack range, and in an instant, flung away three Martial Artists nearby.

During this process, his gaze swept over most of the stronghold.

Seven Firearm Warriors who were holding ranged weapons and watching this side cursed.

In reality, had they known they were facing someone with stronger Inner Strength, these individuals would not have been instantly subdued. As times have progressed, Firearm Warriors have developed many practical skills that allow them to aim without being spotted by their enemies.

But no one expected that this captured individual had such finely honed Inner Strength.

After all...

When he was outside, he began by throwing an Iron Flower Bomb!

The most basic attribute of Metal Aerosol is "disrupting the propagation of electromagnetic waves." Whether it is "heat dissipation lasers" or "defending against EMPs," both are manifestations of this property. In this era, its most significant effect is "signal interference" and "blocking detection methods based on electromagnetic waves."

The latter is typically a fundamental method for Assassins to claim heads amidst thousands of troops. The former, on the other hand, is the best strategy for External Martial Artists to counter Internal Martial Artists.

This method of "disrupting the avenue of Inner Strength execution" allows average External Martial Artists to use their strengths and avoid weaknesses when contending with the Inner Strength of Internal Martial Artists.

In other words, in most people’s understanding, Internal Martial Artists would not do this.

And the Solo Kill King, when attacking the Protector Army, did not use Inner Strength either.

Furthermore, the "curse" that Solo Kill King Jader used was indeed powerful,

"Curse" is an attacking method formed based on vulnerabilities and errors. Once an Internal Martial Artist becomes aware of a "curse," they will create a patch. And thanks to the lingering "internet sharing spirit" within the Hero community, most patches end up circulating.

Even if they are encrypted and obfuscated to prevent less skilled Internal Martial Artists from deducing the form of the "curse" from the patch, a patch is still a patch.

In many Sects, seniors even recommend collections of patches to juniors.

Many people don’t even need to know the content of the patches, nor what specific "curse" they can defend against. As long as it’s thrown into the virtual machine and doesn’t exhibit significant harm, it can be considered as an "option" for a "protective talisman."

After defeating an enemy with a curse, if someone extracts data from the mainboard afterward, it’s possible to become aware of the "curse’s" existence and its infiltration path, thus enabling the creation of a patch.

It’s also for this reason that the more widely a "curse" is spread and used, the more likely it is to become known and neutralized, reducing its effectiveness.

Yet the "secret incantation" bestowed upon Jader by that mysterious senior maintained at least ninety percent of its "mystery," perhaps only having circulated within a very limited scope.

This secret incantation successfully suppressed these individuals.

Since there wasn’t much time, Jader was not able to destroy the Prosthetic Bodies of the Sect Members of the Six Dragons Sect directly. He merely occupied their computational resources, rendering them immobile all of a sudden.

And the Deputy Banner Master was kicked by him into a pile of ammunition.

He propped himself up with one hand and spun, while the other hand, naturally, grasped a large caliber firearm.

Inside one of the bullets was precious explosives hidden within.

The explosives of this era could be "customized" according to different needs. Many explosives were stable enough that they could even burn slowly, and ordinary impacts were insufficient to cause these things to explode.

But the attack that the Solo Kill King fired was clearly "no ordinary explosion."

After shooting the bullet, the Solo Kill King’s entire body hummed as he spun and then rolled on the ground, positioning his feet towards the pile of explosives, with his body clinging to the ground.

Not all members of the Six Dragons Sect were witnessing this scene, but none of those who did could react in time.

Then came the massive explosion.

The Deputy Banner Master, who was closest to that pile of explosives, was directly blown to pieces, with no remains to be found.

And a bunch of Six Dragons Sect members nearby were not spared either.

Only the Solo Kill King had long been prepared to cope. The moment he was lifted into the air by the blast, Jader used the "Avoid" skills, moving swiftly and rolling to dissipate the force of the impact.

Although his brain was still buzzing from the shockwave of the explosives, Jader changed his voice—[a few parameters adjusted on the synthesizer would do]—and shouted sorrowfully, "The Deputy Banner Master is dead!"

"Those damn Houndhawks have torn up the agreement, they’re using heavy weapons now! They don’t comply!"

"Above the Six Dragons returns... ah..."

He directly used the half-cut phrase he had just heard, even imitating the death throes of someone critically injured.

The Six Dragons Sect was an organization that existed by relying on "Concealment." To ensure secrecy, most of the Sect members didn’t know about the overall structure of the Sect, nor did they know who was actually within the Sect.

In this way, even if one person was caught or defected, it would not affect the overall secrecy of the Six Dragons Sect.

And the tragedy actually lay here.

They were not like the Protector Army that had a strict "military network," nor did they have sufficiently convenient means of information exchange.

Essentially, these guys had no way of immediately identifying the authenticity of that sentence.

If it were not for a special situation, the Six Dragons Sect would not need to face such a predicament.

And just as the Martial Ancestor had threatened "that person" three hundred years ago, it was said.

——Giving false firing commands to several different armies, most armies might maintain restraint and identify the orders as fake. But if just a few people take it seriously, "war" would become real.

If just a few people believe it...

If just a few people from both the Six Dragons Sect and the Protector Army take the recent battle situation seriously...

The Solo Kill King shook his head, chuckled hehe, and taking advantage of the dust raised by the shockwave before it had cleared, he turned and left, keeping a low profile.

Chaos spread like mold on a petri dish throughout the city.

Xiang Shan watched all this unfold before his eyes.
