King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 583 - 583 579

Chapter 583: 579 Chapter 583: 579 “Ah,” Muria’s face stiffened slightly. He had already shed his Holy Imperial Abyss armor, now appearing as he did when newly born—a Titan body adorned with dragon horns and sprouting wings, a sight that made rage flare anew in Eleusis’ eyes as he lay in Samuel’s hand. This bastard had told him his armor couldn’t be removed when he had ruthlessly beat him up.

“I suppose I was fortunate enough to consume some exceptional food items. That’s why my strength increased so rapidly.” Muria responded helplessly to the inquisitive gaze of the Blazing Sky Girl before him. This encounter was different than he had imagined, though not entirely unpleasant.

“Is that so?” Michaela’s brows creased. She now felt she couldn’t beat Muria. At the same level, she was evenly matched with Muria. But now that he was a rank above her, she knew she couldn’t win.

“Michaela, this guy has assimilated divine power,” Eleusis, psychologically scarred from his past loss to Muria, bitterly stated. Having “crossed hands” with Muria for so long, he could certainly feel the element of divine Law Power within Muria—quite weak, yet far beyond the control of beginner-level Titans.

“I only borrowed it to comprehend the Laws,” Muria replied emotionlessly, glancing at Eleusis. He remembered having impaled the latter with the Spear of the Sun Chaser, effectively marking him. Chances were Eleusis could only pray not to fall into his hand in the future.

“Oh!” Michaela studied Muria while harboring deep thoughts. She contemplated whether to follow Muria’s example and use foreign objects that wouldn’t hinder future growth in order to catch up with him. Otherwise, the gap would persist. She wondered when will their promised battle would finally commence.

“By the way, do these events concern you?” Michaela pointed to the handful remaining Cloud Cities, which had become chaotic due to the ongoing battle between the Dragon King and the Blazing Sky Gods.

She had noticed that the Dragon Kings had exercised restraint—they hadn’t overreacted, seeing how no Cloud City had fallen despite the ongoing battle.

The Blazing Sky Gods had likewise tempered their actions, opting to let only the gods of the Raphael Line deal with the confrontation instead of intervening themselves. Once they discerned the real cause, they brushed off helping even more.

The mere outcome of an ill-bred descendant’s loose tongue had sparked this battle. If it led to war between the Dragon Race and the Blazing Sky God Race, it would be quite absurd.

“Well, I suppose I might have had something to do with it,” Muria said somewhat guiltily as he looked at the Starshine Dragon before him.

“Muria, no need to play coy. After your grandfather Dimos informed us of your plight, we came for you,” the Starshine Dragon King spoke. Looking at Eleusis’ fiery eyes, then Muria and Michaela, he perceptively gleaned something.

“Heh,” laughed Samuel as he laid down his descendant beside him. He was worried that he might accidentally squeeze his hand too tightly.

He decided that once this matter was resolved, he would banish Eleusis to the edges of the World Community, forcing him to battle the Evil God’s Followers wandering the Void. And he wasn’t to return unless he reached the Legendary Peak.

“What happened exactly?” Michaela asked. She was genuinely astounded by what occurred that day. Three allied Dragon Kings, breaking into the core area of Blazing Sky God Race territory in a matter of moments had rendered the outer defense utterly useless.

The outer defenses had not seen any action for a long time, particularly after the Blazing Sky God Race allied with the Titan Tribe, resulting in lax guard duty. All defenses had been kept at minimum capacity.

Michaela was particularly struck by the Dragon King with blue, almost green, armor scales who brought a tide to the airspace of the Blazing Sky God Race. His actions disrupted the Cloud Cities of the Raphael Line and cleared a significant space for them to engage in battle – a testament to his tremendous power.

“Essentially, it all comes down to this guy.” Muria didn’t hesitate to heap all the blame onto Eleusis. He didn’t think he did anything wrong; the fact that he didn’t behead Eleusis spoke volumes of his benevolence, although the primary reason was that he ran out of time and couldn’t execute his plan. “He insulted me first; that was what sparked everything.”

“The situation wouldn’t have escalated if this man didn’t breach regulations and interfere in the fight,” Oswald chimed in. He despised others who easily reached into his nation’s affairs and neglected their sovereignty.

“I’ve explained this many times already,” Samuel retorted angrily. This ruler never ceased to pick on this matter, “I was merely trying to save my descendant. I hadn’t inflicted any harm or damage towards you; rather, my descendant got beaten up by this half-blooded Titan.”

At this point, Samuel grew even more frustrated. His descendant had been beaten up, and for the sake of the greater picture, he had to offer compensation. For uttering the word “bastard!” he had to pay a considerable price. Furthermore, the Dragon Race had attacked, and he had to bear it because, admittedly, they were at fault—though the Dragon Race’s immense power and the considerable influence of the Platinum Dragon God were also primary factors.

When everyone has power roughly equal and strives to avoid conflict, reasoning is inevitable.

“Muria, did you defeat Eleusis, despite him being a rank higher?” Michaela asked, her eyes glinting. Her focus was always deviated from the rest. Oswald grew nauseated from observing this display and thus set Muria aside, no longer holding him in his palm.

“That’s correct, I defeated him thoroughly,” Muria proudly answered with a triumphant grin on his face. To defeat a Blazing Sky God descendant a rank higher was undoubtedly worth showing off, especially in front of his love interest.

“Impressive!” Michaela admirably remarked, causing Eleusis’ face to redden in humiliation, the itching sensation of vomiting blood surfaced within him.

“Muria, you only won because your equipment is better than mine!” Eleusis defended himself against the embarrassment of having his life’s most humiliating experience exposed by his rival in love in front of his goddess.

“But isn’t your strength supposed to be superior to Muria’s?” Michaela retorted, “If that’s the case, how much better can Muria’s equipment be? If it made up for the disparity in strength, then what’s the problem? You lost, didn’t you? So why make excuses?”

“I…” Eleusis’ face flushed into a dark shade of red. This time, he felt a profound psychological blow—more painful than when Muria tore off his Blazing Sky Wings.
