King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 547 - 547 543 The Giants Origin Conjecture
Chapter 547: Chapter 543: The Giant’s Origin Conjecture Chapter 547: Chapter 543: The Giant’s Origin Conjecture “Have you been raising me as a sister?” The white dragon Clodia, still in her dragon form, rested her head on Muria’s lap. Her dragon’s eye, tilted towards Muria, was staring at him. “Were the three female red dragons, Cynthia, Jessica and Renata, also raised as your sisters?”
“Indeed.” Muria, having removed his armor, reached out and touched Clodia’s slender neck. His palm touched her scales, giving him a cold but not chilly feeling, like touching a piece of finely crafted, cold jade.
“Four sisters, huh!” Clodia didn’t commit to a response, yet her eyes vividly expressed her emotions, “So why didn’t you raise a few male dragons as brothers?”
“…” Muria frowned in thought for a moment before answering with certainty, “Simply because I don’t like it. I don’t like brothers.”
“A male instinct.”
“…” Muria kept silent, indicating his reluctance to dwell on this topic with Clodia, the academic overlord among dragons.
“When do you plan to leave?” Clodia also didn’t dwell on that subject, but rather asked another question that concerned her.
“Do you hope for my quick departure?” Muria pinched Clodia’s slender neck, a tinge of displeasure in his voice.
“Whether I wish for it or not, isn’t your departure inevitable?” Clodia retorted, “To you, Prince Mureya, this continent doesn’t hold anything worth longing for, does it? In comparison to other continents, Depluson is far too poor and backward, without even a kingdom. Of course, for me, this subcontinent is perfect for development.”
“That’s true.” Muria stroked his chin. “I can’t confirm when I will leave this subcontinent. However, I want to unify more than half of the frost giants on this subcontinent. To teach them the knowledge that is vital for a civilization before I leave. At least when I leave, and they lose external support, they can still continue to develop and produce enough elites to push the development of civilization.”
“You just wanted to form a legion, and now you’re thinking about helping them develop civilization!” Clodia was amazed at Muria’s vision and ambition. “Of course, I understand why you would do this. After all, with a civilization backing you, your Frost Giant legion would have the strongest support. Even if they suffer unexpected losses and annihilated, they can quickly rebuild themselves. However, have you considered a certain problem?”
“What problem?”
“Is the Frost Giants’ ignorance and backwardness purely the result of external environments and divine influences? Doesn’t their own bloodline influence this at all? Can they really achieve your goal and develop a civilization?”
“What are you trying to say?” Muria looked down at the white dragon lying on his lap.
“As we all know, Tiamat, the mother of evil dragons, created the Five Colored Dragons, while Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon God, created the Metallic dragons,” Clodia lifted her head and stared at Muria intensely. “So, who created the giants”
“Life is not necessarily created by deities or epics; natural evolution can also give birth to a variety of life forms.” Muria looked into Clodia’s eyes, speaking seriously.
“I know, for instance, the Titan Race is among the most potent species nurtured by the world in the initial batch of creatures. However, you can’t attribute everything to the world. You must admit that many intelligent races in the Erathia World were created by other powerful beings.”
The giants are so similar to the Titans in form. Why can’t we make the hypothesis that all races of giants in the Erathia World were created by the Titans?”
“Absurd!” Muria creased his eyebrows. “According to your theory, all races similar to the Titan form are created by the Titans. Then by this conjecture, even humans were created by Titans?”
“Possible, in the books that you showed me, I encountered some hidden records whose authenticity is uncertain. In the dark age before the rise of the human race, a human sage was suddenly enlightened and began the creation of the Demon Hunter Armor, leading to the subsequently magnificent Demon Hunting Era for mankind.”
However, even the most powerful Ninth Generation Demon Hunting Armor stems from the first Generation Demon Hunting Armor. So, the question arises, how was the first generation of Demon Hunter Armor made? To go from nothing to something is more challenging than going from one to nine. Was the first generation Demon Hunting Armor genuinely independently developed by humans? Or was there some particular existence that inspired that human sage?”
“Are you implying that this was the Titans’ doing? The rise of humanity was pushed by the Titan Tribe behind the scenes? Ridiculous, that’s impossible. What good would the rise of humanity bring to my Titan Tribe?”
“In that era, who else apart from the Titan would help humans? Also, the Titan who inspired the human sage might not have done it intentionally. After all, the first generation Demon Hunting Armor wasn’t that powerful, and it was unlikely to foresee how humans would skyrocket in development because of this. Just like how someone casually sprinkled some breadcrumbs on the ground for ants.”
“Your imagination is running wild, Clodia. The human race has already proven their endless creativity. The first generation of Demon Hunter Armor could indeed have been born from a sage’s sudden moment of inspiration.” Muria still shook his head in disagreement with Clodia’s assumptions. However, he kept it in mind as it was not entirely impossible.
“Fine, let’s bypass the human race and focus solely on the relationship between giants and Titans. Don’t you find it too exaggerated how those giants submit upon the sight of you? If we assume their ancestors were minions created by the Titans, then this behavior could be logically explained.”
“If these giants truly are minions created by Titans, then why don’t you explain why their current situation is so dismal? Titans are not exactly a fickle race.” Muria challenged her, “Why did they fall into such a state?”
“Maybe because the Epic Titan who created these giants has fallen, and so they, as minions, found themselves in a state of neglect?” Clodia boldly suggested, “After all, they are just descendants of the Titan minions.”
“Audacity!” Muria pushed Clodia away, rose from the Ice Throne, anger apparent on his face, “Every Epic Titan possesses different powers. According to what you say, one Epic Titan corresponds to one Giant Race. Hence, up until now, there should have been more than ten Epic Titans that have fallen.”
“Is that many? From their inception, the Titan Race has existed for millions of years. On average, it’s around one Epic Titan falling every hundred thousand years. When compared to the frequency of the death of deities, it’s scarcely worth mentioning. Epic Titans are not immortal beings, after all.”
