King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 534 - 534 530

Chapter 534: 530 Chapter 534: 530 “You dare to steal the power of a deity!” Without even observing who was around him, the Frost Wolf God who felt its Belief Power being stolen roared and growled upon its arrival.

Muria looked at his palm, where the originally rough Frost Wolf Statue gradually became lifelike and then alive from the inanimate. Those frosty wolf eyes were filled with vitality, gradually gaining the majesty of a deity. Numerous crystal-clear hairs sprang up, giving Muria a sense of cool and soft touch on his hand.

“Nice touch!”

Muria, half-crouched, praised softly as he stared at the Frost Wolf God’s avatar which truly resembled a living creature after its descent. Then, he carefully caressed the avatar which was considered the strongest frost wolf in the Erathia world.

“You will incur the wrath of a deity, bringing about…” When the descended Wolf God rehearsed its prepared lines, its phrase suddenly stopped after realizing what was exactly in front of it, then it swallowed the rest of its words, not daring to speak out.

“What did you plan to do to my tribe?” Muria asked curiously. His hand started to stroke down the Frost Wolf God’s back, “Don’t hold back, speak out.”

“Titan, did you steal my Belief Power?” The Frost Wolf God was somewhat terrified to see Muria, a titan who even when crouching is taller than its avatar. It felt that if it had uttered that sentence just now, it might have to prepare for resurrection.

“No,” Muria promptly denied, “I don’t need faith. I just touched your Belief Power to summon you.”

Although Muria could see the Power of Faith after merging with Devinity, without Divine Fire to turn the Power of Faith into Divine Power or Divine Attribute to accommodate Divine Power, stealing the Power of Faith would be pointless.

“What do you want from me?” The Frost Wolf God felt something was wrong and began to look around. It naturally saw the Frost Giants silently watching it from the surroundings, along with the Frost Giant leader lying down like a salted fish on the side.

“Just a small matter to discuss with you.” Muria, with a beaming smile, caressed the Wolf God’s back fur, pointing at the Frost Giant leader lying beside him, “How about letting your loyal believer follow me?”

“Frost Fang!” The Wolf God twisted its head slightly and eyed the surrounding mess on the frozen ground. It was obvious that it had been beaten badly, so it fixed its gaze on the Frost Giant leader and called out his name; a very ordinary name that doesn’t match his strength.

“You want him to follow you? Why?” The Wolf God failed to understand the actions of the Titan in front. A Frost Giant should not be worthy of a Titan’s attention, even if it’s a legend.

“I need him.” Muria didn’t plan to explain his intention of becoming a sage to the Wolf God.

“What are you up to?” The Frost Wolf God could feel the sweeping hand behind its back. When it first descended, it felt this hand on its head. Though it was initially hard for the Frost Wolf God to endure because of the Titan’s status, it became increasingly difficult to put up with the Titan’s outrageous act of treating it like a pet. The Frost Wolf God flicked the Titan’s hand away with its paw. It didn’t like this, it was humiliating for it as a deity. Even though it’s a deity with only Inferior Divine Power, it’s still a deity.

“I plan to establish a Frost Giant Legion.” Seeing the giant Samoyed flicking its hand with its paw, Muria once again admired the Frost Wolf God’s wagging tail and quietly put his hand back. Despite being an Avatar, its fur feels really good.

“You’ve just promoted to Legend, no need to be hasty in forming a Legion, right?” It seems that even the weakest deity knows about Epics. The Wolf God, looking at Muria, expressed doubt, “Moreover, the power of Frost Giants doesn’t suit you at all. It shouldn’t be in your army-building goals.”

“The Frost Giant Army I want to establish is not for fighting in the Void.” Muria explained, “Have you heard about the incident twenty-six years ago?”

“The Titan Slayer?” Hearing Muria mention the incident from twenty-six years ago, the Frost Wolf God’s hair stood on end, making it look fluffy and more like a Samoyed.

“Knowing is enough.” Muria smoothed the puffing hair off this Samoyed, “Do you know where I was back then?”

“Evil God’s Paradise?” The Frost Wolf God recalled that the Depluson Subcontinent where it was currently located and the Senapus Subcontinent, known as the Evil God’s Paradise, were adjacent.

“Very clever.” Upon hearing the Frost Wolf God guessing it, Muria praised.

“You were the Half-blood Titan encircling the avatars descended by the thirteen deities.” Glancing at Muria, the Frost Wolf God couldn’t help but lick its mouth, knowing that there were things on this Titan that could make deities covet. But recalling the fates of those deities, it immediately took back any dangerous thoughts.

“Am I that famous now?” Muria stroked his chin. With just a slight mention of his name, this Wolf God recognized him immediately, which made him feel a bit smug, just a tiny bit though.

“Unless it’s those ancient deities, there probably isn’t a god who doesn’t know you.” The Wolf God said. In particular, those at the bottom tier of deities like it needed to be crystal clear about the entities in the world they should never cross. The Titan absentmindedly stroking its fur, for instance, was someone it could not afford to provoke. It was genuinely afraid of getting hit by a Stellar Orbital Cannon. That would be an unbearable blow to its life.

“In that case, I want Frost Fang to follow me. You shouldn’t have any objections, should you?” Muria asked with a gentle smile.

“He is a legend that I’ve cultivated at the cost of much divine power.” The God of the Frost Wolves tactfully replied. It was alright if it had to work under him, but what benefits could it bring? Sure, the Titan was formidable, but it didn’t mean it could coerce a god into serving it. Evidently, offering benefits in exchange for cooperation wouldn’t be a bad idea.

“Alright, let me say this, I’m not an unreasonable Titan.” Muria pondered for a bit. The outlook of this Wolf God, was very pleasing to his eyes, and it also felt extremely smooth to the touch. He only wondered about what the real form would feel like? It’s likely even better than the avatar. He had to give it a try someday.

“The Frost Wolf Tribe shall fight for me, but I won’t interfere with their faith. As long as they don’t worship the Evil God, I’ll let them be. How about it? This way, you won’t face much loss in your faith.”

“Are all Titans like you?” The Wolf God looked at Muria. Did it think it was ignorant? The Frost Giants followed the Titan; it had nothing to do with it. And yet it didn’t interfere with the Frost Giants’ faith. Its sweet talk was better than its singing, but the presence of Titans was indeed the biggest interference. With Titans around, which giant would go and worship a god?

“Is there a problem?” Muria felt pretty good about himself. His desire for control wasn’t very strong. He never interfered with his subordinates’ beliefs. They could believe in whatever they wanted to, as long as it wasn’t the Evil God. However, among his followers, none seemed to believe in deities. The giants, on the other hand, held quite a few worshippers of him.

“Nope.” The God of the Frost Wolves grinned, baring its sharp fangs. The moment it heard Muria’s plan about forming a Frost Giant Legion, it realized that the faith in this tribe was doomed. Its chances of recuperation were slim; even as a god, it stood no competition against a Titan.

However, thankfully it wasn’t the god of the Frost Giants but of the Frost Wolves. Its faith originated from the wolf packs residing in Depluson Subcontinent. Thus, the loss of faith among the Frost Giants wouldn’t result in a debilitating blow; it was still within the scale of acceptability.

“Then it’s decided happily.” Muria forcefully grabbed the paw of the Wolf God’s avatar and shook it. “Here’s to our happy cooperation.”

“What the heck kind of cooperation?” The Wolf God felt extremely uncomfortable and tried to pull its paw back. But this Titan seemed to have no intention of letting go and held the paw tightly.

“You’re the first deity I’m working with, and I can’t treat you unfairly. As long as it’s within the bounds of my territory and influence, I allow your priests to spread your faith,” Muria proposed a seemingly fair condition, displaying the magnanimity of a Titan. Still, he added a condition, “But, I’ll need to scrutinize your doctrines. If there’s anything unreasonable, necessary modifications must be made.”

“…” The God of the Frost Wolves was indifferent. Right now, it had a single thought in mind. How on earth could there be such a shamelessly brazen Titan in this world, thinking of modifying its doctrines? This is unbelievable.

Moreover, the promise of allowing it to send priests to spread faith was utter nonsense. Didn’t he know that it was a racial god? The majority of its followers were Frost Wolves. By some stroke of luck, it had developed a Frost Giant Tribe, which was now being poached by him.

Spread the faith? With what? With a group of Frost Wolves? The sight of a bunch of wolves standing upright, holding scriptures in their front paws and walking on their hind ones? It was beyond imagination!

“Are you dissatisfied? Let’s switch to another condition then.” In Muria’s opinion, cooperation should be such that both parties derive satisfactory returns. That, indeed, was cooperation. One party reaping benefits while the other is at a disadvantage inevitably wouldn’t last long. “You propose something!”

“First, remove your palm.” The Wolf God gazed coldly at Muria. This chap had been messing with it all along.

“Haha,” Muria chuckled twice, reluctantly moving his palm from the back of the Wolf God. “I thought that you were enjoying it, so I…”

“I am the God of the Frost Wolves. Please maintain respect.”

“The Wolf God is a wolf too, grooming you is a form of respect.”

“I’m not your battle pet.”

“How about considering it? Becoming my battle pet!”
