King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 531 - 531 527 The Arrogant Frost Giants Leader
Chapter 531: Chapter 527: The Arrogant Frost Giants Leader Chapter 531: Chapter 527: The Arrogant Frost Giants Leader “Where did you get these many cloud islands from?” Following Muria to the top of the clouds, Clodia gazed at the gradually revealing hidden magic array of Xena Pus, the massive size of which she found hard to believe. Her voice held back an incredulous astonishment; this was a truly breathtaking scene.
“These cloud islands came floating to me on their own,” Muria simply introduced.
“Muria!” In the process of gradually approaching, Red Dragon Cynthia flew over first with a group of dragons, filled with excitement.
However, just as they approached Muria, they halted abruptly mid-air. They all sensed the familiar aura emanating from the powerful white dragon beside Muria.
“Clodia?” Cynthia’s eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at the Frost Queen. Right now, she’s just a soul of the third tier, still a long way from becoming a legend. Yet Clodia has unexpectedly reached that stage. How could this be possible?
“Hmm.” Clodia’s gaze casually swept over the twenty-four giant dragons before her. Though they had once grown up together, it was an undeniable fact that they were not on the same level anymore, be it in terms of power or influence. She was clearly superior to the other Five Colored Dragons nurtured by Muria.
“How can you be… this powerful?” Looking at the white dragon, larger than her, Cynthia muttered to herself. She felt as if she had received a great blow. Here was a dragon, younger and with a weaker bloodline than hers, that was now completely superior to her. This was a fact dragons had difficulty coming to terms with.
Not just Cynthia, all the other mage dragons also wore expressions of disbelief. They thought they were the best among dragons of their age, that no other dragon could surpass them. But today, after seeing Clodia, they realized that there were always dragons superior to even the very best.
“Because while you were sleeping, I was learning.” Looking at Cynthia with whom she had grown up, Clodia answered her question very calmly and elegantly.
“Learning…” Cynthia’s claws twitched. She recalled the time she spent with Clodia in the Titan clan lands. In her memory, whether before she went to sleep or after she woke up, Clodia always had a book in her hands.
“Knowledge changes destiny.” Clodia looked at the stunned Five Colored Dragons in front of her, her eyes showing no trace of emotional upheaval. She knew early on that she was not the same kind of dragon as these beings who loved to rely on their gifts and were forced by Muria to learn.
“Look at Clodia, she has already conquered four human nations and has become a King Dragon. Now look at yourselves.” Seeing the state of these dragons, Muria seized the opportunity to educate them. Ever since their bloodline advanced, these dragons had become lazier. Every day, apart from sleeping, they were always contemplating where to go to… right the wrong and promote the good.
“King Dragon!” Hearing about Clodia’s current achievements, these dragons were even more stupefied. Is this something a white dragon can do? Even if this white dragon is a bit special.
“Terence!” Without wasting time on these complicated Five Colored Dragons, Muria took White Dragon Clodia to the Central Cloud Island to meet the Storm Giant Leader, who was stationed there with three hundred Storm Giants.
“Prince Mureya!” The Giants remained respectful to Mureya, a constant throughout the ages.
“I recently gained the loyalty of fifteen thousand Frost Giants, but none of them meet my requirements, so I need a group of Cloud Giants to teach them, at least initially how to fight.”
Besides from fighting, the Frost Giants were good at nothing else. Even in battle, they were pitiful. They had no understanding of formations or teamwork. If they had to fight as a group, they’d be a mess. The best they could do was hunt like a wolf pack, showing some basic cooperation, but that was it. Seeing this, Muria couldn’t help but feel frustrated.
“If there are only more than ten thousand Frost Giants, we can use floating ships to transport them all to Xena Pus, and I can participate in the teaching.”
“This is just the beginning. I will conquer more Frost Giants in the future. It is too slow to rely on you alone for teaching, and due to racial differences, it is easy to cause unnecessary trouble.”
“I understand, Your Majesty. Do the Cloud Giants only need to teach these more than ten thousand Frost Giants?”
“For now, yes.” Muria answered, planning to push the Frost Giants’ civilization through a massive leap, kicking them directly from a primitive era into the Magical Industry Era. He didn’t know how much effort and sacrifice was needed to accomplish this.
But Muria did know one thing, that once he accomplished this feat, the returns would be continuous. Of course, that’s why he described himself as acting as a sage once; he acted for gain while true sages did not expect any returns.
…
“Hoo! Hoo! Hoo…” The northern wind howled and snow flurried; another blizzard hit. However, the severe weather didn’t hinder the Frost Giants’ daily activities. They continued their usual routines as their bodies had long since adapted to such extreme climate.
“Boom!” “Boom!”… Huge vibrations echoed from a distance. The female Frost Giants of the Frost Wolf Tribe who were processing their hunts involuntarily stopped their actions. The males who were preparing to hunt or returning from hunting also stood still. Frost Giants from the ice houses also came outside. Then, all the Frost Giants looked towards the gate of the tribe and towards the vast snowy sky.
All the Frost Giants of the Frost Wolf Tribe felt it. An incredibly powerful existence was approaching. The aura it radiated made their blood boil, giving them an impulse to kneel and worship.
“Boom!” “Boom!”… The footsteps got closer. Soon, to the Frost Giants, an imposing figure that seemed to support the heavens and earth slowly marched towards their tribe amidst the snowstorm. He was armored in ancient and enigmatic runes, only his head with its cascading black hair was visible. His radiant golden pupils shone with an unbearable majesty.
Seeing this existence, for whom even the blizzard gave way, a Frost Giant holding a Bone Spear put down his weapon and knelt in a respect he had never shown before in his life, presenting his reverence to this triumphant figure.
“Greetings, Titan!”
Said the Frost Giant, his voice a murmur that conveyed his incredible mix of emotions. Every Giant had heard stories and legends of the Titans, but none ever imagined they would meet a Titan in their lifetime.
“Greetings, Titan!” Just like the first tumbled domino starts a chain reaction, the Frost Giants one by one bowed down to the approaching Muria.
When Muria reached the gate of this Frost Giant Tribe, a Frost Giant holding a Wolf Fang Club came out from the large building in the center of the tribe that could barely be called a house. This Frost Giant didn’t kneel.
The Frost Giant was a gigantic fifty meters tall, which for adult Frost Giants averaging around ten meters was a gargantuan figure. He must be the leader of this Frost Giant Tribe.
Size usually correlates with strength, but fifty meters is beyond the potential of the Frost Giant bloodline. Normally, a Frost Giant could not have reached this height.
“Divine Power.” Muria sensed the barely perceptible sacred aura that lingered on this Legendary Frost Giant Leader.
“Titan from afar, is there something you need from our Frost Wolf Tribe?” Looking at his tribe members, all kneeling on the ground, the Frost Giant Leader’s expression turned stern.
Especially when the three Frost Giant elders followed him out, saw Muria’s figure, hesitated for a moment, and solemnly bowed down, the Frost Giant Leader’s face appeared somewhat distorted. He had never received such treatment before.
“Are you willing to follow me?” Seeing the rebellious Legendary Frost Giant standing in place, without any sign of kneeling, Muria already understood his attitude, but still asked.
“I believe in the great Frost Wolf God.” The Legendary Frost Giant stated his stance. His ascension to legend was a blessing of the deity. He would never betray.
“I see. So you’re not willing.” The Army-breaking Halberd appeared in Muria’s hand.
