King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 528 - 528 524
Chapter 528: 524 Chapter 528: 524 “How do you plan to deal with them?” As expected, White Dragon Clodia, carrying seven ice crystals sealing legends, came to Muria’s side. Dragon’s eyes sparkling with divine glory examined Muria seriously.
“Senior!” Seeing the large ice chunk, pure as crystal, placed by the White Dragon in front of him, Silvermoon Elf Hesel removed his helmet and rushed forward. Looking at the elf frozen inside, his tearful eyes turned towards Muria, “Muria, can you let her out?”
The Elves are a race whose average appearance is above the standard, attracting many humanoid creatures with their beauty, leading to wicked actions. The elves’ low reproductive ability makes them rare compared to other species, and their limited number keeps them unified. Therefore, even if they are strangers, Hesel is willing to risk angering Muria to make his request.
“Hmm!” After contemplating for a moment, Muria had a flurry of thoughts. He knew the Eternal Island had dispatched a legion of as many as thirty thousand elves to serve him. Although he knew these elves were investing in him, they were indirectly flattering the Titan.
But they were helping him after all. Muria’s philosophy is simple. Since they are kind to him, he must repay their kindness. This way, they can maintain a good relationship over the long run.
“Clodia.” Muria looked at the majestic and elegant Legendary White Dragon in front of him, “Unseal this elf!”
“Unseal? Why didn’t you just let me let her go without capturing her alive? It’s so troublesome!” Clodia extended her dragon claw and patted the frosty crystal that sealed the legendary elf archer, countless branch-like cracks spread across it and turned into numerous white lights that dissipated in the wind with a “bang”.
“Let her go? She attacked my dragon, and she wants to walk away without any consequences? It doesn’t work like that.” Muria looked at the legendary elf who had just been released and was being held by Hesel, speaking in a light tone.
“What do you want me to pay?” Looking at the elf with flowing hair pure and white like the silver moon hung high in the night sky, legendary archer Calida looked at Muria. Undoubtedly, this youth was the one behind the Frost Queen they had just speculated.
“Considering that you are an Elf, serve me for three hundred years!” Muria said nonchalantly.
“Impossible, I will never submit to evil.” The righteous elf refused Muria’s terms outright, stepping forward and shielding Hesel behind her.
Obviously, in her eyes, the powerful Muria, who can manipulate the Frost Queen, is an even greater evil. Hesel is a kidnapped elf girl controlled by this powerful evil. With her stunning beauty revered by the world, she won this evil being’s favor, allowing her to plead for her release.
“Me?” Muria looked around and pointed at himself, “Evil? Are you joking?”
“No matter what you do to me, I won’t submit to you.” Like a knight standing against injustice, legendary elf Calida’s face was serious and filled with indomitable spirit.
“Muria is not evil, senior, you’ve got it wrong.” Seeing Muria’s slowly raised eyebrow, Hesel hurriedly started to explain. She doesn’t want her fellow elf to confront Muria, as the one who will suffer surely wouldn’t be Muria.
“Princess, don’t believe the deceiver, you are bewitched. Rest assured, as long as I’m alive, I won’t let him touch you.” Calida completely ignored Hesel’s words due to her preconceived notions, and instead thought she was misled.
“You’re the first elf I’ve met with such a vivid imagination.” Muria snorted lightly, and an imposing golden dragon shadow emerged from behind him, filling Calida’s sight.
“Fallen Golden Dragon!” Seeing Muria’s dragon form, the elf archer Calida’s misunderstanding remained. She decided Muria was indeed, “A powerful evil.”
“Leon,” Muria suppressed the urge to ridicule this incredibly dense elf, “Put your armor on for me, let this stubborn long-eared one see it.”
…The existence of the Demon Hunter Knight Leon shook Calida’s faith, and she realized she might have misunderstood, “You really are not evil?”
“If I were evil, do you think you could stand here and talk to me?”
“…” The elf fell silent, then looked at her companion frozen in ice, “If you’re not evil, then please release my companions.”
“Is there a necessary connection between these two? If I don’t release them, am I evil?” Muria looked at elf Calida with a smile on his face, “In your eyes, is kindness defined as enduring beatings without retaliation? Retaliation becomes evil?”
“Of course not, but…” Calida, who wanted to say something else, was cut off by Muria.
“Elf, understand your identity now. You are only a prisoner of war. You have no right to make conditions for me. If it weren’t for your race, do you think you could’ve been released? To judge a dragon’s morality based on some distorted facts is absurd. As you have done something wrong, you will have to bear the corresponding consequences.”
“What do you want to do to my companions?”
“Don’t worry, senior, Muria won’t harm them. He can’t let them go now. We’ll discuss this matter slowly, and try to solve it. Don’t be anxious.”
“How about if I take these legends?” Muria asked Clodia.
“If you want them, just take them!” Clodia replied casually. Compared to the divine artifact imbued with the frost law that Muria’s mother had bestowed upon her, what were a few legends she had originally intended to kill?
“Then I won’t be polite.” Muria opened an entrance to his semi-plane and received the six frost crystals sealing legends into it, then looked at the elf Calida, “I’m giving you three days to decide whether to serve me for three hundred years, think carefully inside.”
“Now we can talk privately!” Shifting all irrelevant personnel into the semi-plane aside from himself and Clodia, Muria resumed his golden dragon form while looking at Clodia.
“As I expected, you’ve already advanced to the legendary level. I was still fantasizing about surpassing you before, but I guess you’re still ahead.” Seeing Muria whose length was nearly twice hers, Clodia revealed a look of astonishment. This was the first time she had seen such a massive dragon body.
“Just a lucky chance,” Muria shook his head. His lifespan was already long. If he didn’t do anything, he would normally take at least two hundred years to reach the legendary level, like a giant dragon, but the period was shortened by consuming various rare items and diligent training, “What about you, how did you advance to legend level so early considering your age is even younger than mine?”
“It was simply an arrangement by your mother.” Knowing the truth, Clidia replied calmly. Now that she knew there was a dragon manipulating things from behind the scenes, she no longer felt a sense of accomplishment.
“Ah… she did so…”
“It’s great, isn’t it? For a small white dragon like me to achieve this much is quite rare in the world.” Clodia lifted her head slightly, looking up at Muria’s dragon body, “So, what are you planning to do now?”
“My original plan was to find you and then bring you away,” Muria surveyed his surroundings, “But since you’ve established such an expansive territory on this subcontinent, we might as well leave it be. We wouldn’t want your hard work being wasted. Now I plan to walk around this Depluson subcontinent, have a look, and then move to the next subcontinent.”
“So leisurely?”
“It’s all about gaining experience.”
“Interested in a little test with me?” Clodia suddenly asked, “If it’s successful, I think you might stay on this continent for quite some time.”
“What kind of test?” Muria asked, interested.
“Come with me.” Space twisted under the white dragon’s claw, forming a huge tunnel, leading to an unknown place.
“Ding! Ding! Dong! Dong!…” The sound of metal hitting the rocks echoed in Muria’s ears. It was the sound of mining. Following Clodia out of the space tunnel, Muria found himself above a huge mining field.
“Frost Giants!” As Muria watched the miners in the field, his eyebrows furrowed slightly. This large open-pit mine was full of frost giants wielding pickaxes and shod in shackles, laboring diligently under the watchful eyes of the white dragon.
“Your majesty, Queen Clodia!” Seeing Clodia, several white dragons flew over.
“Show your Titan True Form. Let’s see if the giants on this land still remember the Titans.” Ignoring the white dragons, Clodia focused her gaze on Muria.
“In that case, can you guys disappear for a while?” Muria had an idea of what Clodia was thinking.
“Yes!” Silently, Clodia and all the white dragon overseers in the mine vanished, temporarily hiding their tracks.
“Nice invisibility spell.” Glancing at the void next to him, Muria complimented before a golden thunder burst from his giant dragon body, spreading in a hurricane to the surroundings.
An imposing pressure unfamiliar to the frost giants in the mine descended, yet strangely familiar to their bloodline.
“Clang!” The frost giants, who had been numbed and reduced to mining tools under the oppressive rule of the white dragons, suddenly reacted. Their pickaxes fell from their hands as they all lifted their heads to stare at the sky, where they saw the object of every giant’s faith.
“Titan!”
