Chapter 515 - 515 511 Conquering the Four Corners
Chapter 515: Chapter 511: Conquering the Four Corners Chapter 515: Chapter 511: Conquering the Four Corners “Mels, have you identified the location of those who have offended me?” Muria turned to look at a middle-aged man beside him, his face bearing a refined smile. He, like Terence, the Storm Giant Leader, was unruffled, showing no eagerness to show off in front of Muria.
For he was one who had been through life and death with Muria, almost giving his whole life for him. Mels believed that, as long as he didn’t make any major mistakes, his status in Muria’s heart was essentially secure. He didn’t need to worry about his life and death as he used to.
“Your Majesty, I have located all the nests of the invaders, awaiting your awakening.” Mels answered respectfully, having served Muria for over a decade in the Lockman Kingdom. As an insidious devil, he had a good understanding of Muria’s temper and preferences and knew how to please him, thereby securing his place in her good books.
“Show me, who these creatures are who dare invade my territory.” Muria took the intelligence booklet that Mels presented to him, a cold sneer on his face, “Pirates, fishmen, Deep Sea Naga, it’s always these creatures.”
“Your Majesty, some of them attacked us out of vengeance.”
“Vengeance? Because we plundered them before?” Muria frowned slightly, “Such sinful creatures should just stay put and let my legion punish them, but they dare to retaliate.”
“Ahem, Your Majesty, that’s not the main reason,” Although a devil, Mels was momentarily stunned by Muria’s brash words, then he regained his composure, “Your existence is one of the main reasons for their attacks. Those fishmen and Nagas and some sea monsters attacked us because their deity has fallen, they want to avenge the Titan Tribe.”
“Is that so!” Muria nodded, “If they harbor resentment, then kill them all! Terence, prepare three hundred Storm Giants and two thousand Cloud Giants to go to war with me.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.” Terence had a glint of excitement in his eyes. It was the life-long pursuit of many giants to fight and grow alongside the Titans. Although Muria was not of pure blood, they were entirely content.
…
On an island composed entirely of various shipwrecks, the clinking of glasses and the loud cheering of men were mixed together. From time to time, the moans of women could be heard, creating a scene of revelry.
“Brothers,” In the spacious shipwreck at the center, a robust man with pale blue skin, towering nearly nine meters tall, was sitting in the main seat, “I am here to announce something. Three days from now, I plan to attack Xena Pus again.”
Upon hearing their leader’s proposal, the noisy shipwreck island gradually quieted down, and all the eyes were on their leader – the legendary pirate king who dominated the Thousand Waves Sea, their expressions somber.
“What’s the matter? Is no one talking? Do you have objections to my decision?” The pirate king, who was covered with unobtrusive scales around his vital parts, grinned broadly. He picked up the wine cup that was as big as a bath for a normal human. He drank half of the rum in the cup, then smacked his lips. “If there are any issues, just bring them up. Let’s discuss it together.”
“Boss, would you consider your decision to attack Xena Pus once more? We don’t fear death, but fighting those monsters, giants, and dragons is meaningless. We gain nothing from it.”
“Right, not only will we die, but we won’t get anything. It’s just not worth it.” As soon as the words fell, there were echoes among the pirates, most of whom were reluctant to attack Xena Pus again. The casualties were too heavy.
“We gained nothing because we did not defeat them! If we can break their defense line, just by plundering one Cloud Island, all of our previous losses can be made up for. If we give up, that’s when we truly suffer.”
“We could have broken their defense line at the start, but now there are more and more legends on Xena Pus. We know of at least three, but who knows if there’s the fourth one coming out. With our current strength, it’s impossible to break the defense of Xena Pus.”
“Ha! You’re actually worried about that?” The giant-like pirate king gulped down the wine in his hand, and then let out a hearty laugh,
“Do you think I’ve gotten this far by being reckless? In three days, our Thousand Waves Pirate Group will not be the only one attacking Xena Pus.
I have also contacted four other pirate kings to join the attack. If they really have four legends, there won’t be anything to worry about. Including me, there are five legends. Three days from now, we’re sure to break through the defenses of Xena Pus.”
“You’ve contacted four other pirate kings? Who are they? Can you tell me?” A gentle voice rang out in the semi-open cabin amidst the stunned silence of the pirate banquet, caused by the shocking news spilled by the pirate king, sounding particularly jarring.
“Who are you? When did you come in?”
“Does anyone know him?”
“I don’t recognize him.”
“How did this guy sneak in?”
“No one knows? Then kill him.”
Muria, dressed in lavish clothes and with a handsome face, stood out at the pirate banquet, contrasting sharply with the vulgar, dirty, gloomy surroundings. When he opened his mouth, instantly attracting the attention of the majority of pirates.
“Isn’t it better to live?” Sensing four pirates rushing towards him, Muria stood still, as four cold flashes of light vanished instantly. “Swoosh!” Crimson blood burst from the beheaded pirate bodies, filling the air with a pungent stench of blood.
These four gold-ranked pirate leaders were beheaded in an instant, their golden physique vitality extinguished, leaving no chance for recovery.
“Who are you?” Seeing the black-haired, golden-pupilled teenager who mysteriously appeared and took down his four subordinates without moving a muscle, the burly-faced, blue-skinned Pirate King wore a serious expression, as he couldn’t gauge Muria’s strength.
“Let me introduce myself, I’m the fourth legend you were talking about.” Muria said with a polite smile, like an imperial prince about to attend a banquet, exuding a calm and composed aura that made everyone else feel inferior. “I’m the master of Xena Pus.”
“The master of Xena Pus?” The Blue-Skinned Pirate King slowly stood up, sensing a life or death threat.
A large chain appeared in his hand, a massive metal block familiar to any sailor slammed down at his feet. This was the Pirate King’s weapon – a ship anchor. The dark rust stains on it indicated that its owner has brutally killed countless creatures with it.
“No need to be so jittery.” Muria said with an ever gentle smile watching the Pirate King on high alert, “I won’t kill you. Legends, after all, are a rare commodity.”
“What do you want?” The sight of Muria’s physique, almost akin to an ordinary human teenager, sent a cold shiver through the Pirate King’s heart.
“Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance. If you can take a blow from my sword, I’ll let you live.” Muria’s hand slowly gave rise to an ancient long sword, radiating a vast and age-old aura.
