King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 499 - 499 495 Stellar Orbital Cannon

Chapter 499: Chapter 495: Stellar Orbital Cannon Chapter 499: Chapter 495: Stellar Orbital Cannon Divinity, to some extent, is a unique trait of gods. It concerns a deity’s character, beliefs, command of laws, power attributes, and factional preferences.

Mortals can gain increased lifespan by absorbing divinity. However, this is dangerous because divinity contains the characteristics and beliefs of the gods. A fallen deity can likely seize the body of a mortal that has absorbed its divinity, thereby resurrecting itself.

More often, the collector would erase any trace of the original deity in the divinity before absorbing it, thereby gaining a comprehension of its laws, which could put one on the path to igniting their Divine Fire.

Powerful deities can divide their divinity and grant it to mortals who qualify to ascend to godhood, allowing them to comprehend the laws within it and more easily transcend the boundary between God and mortal.

For example, the God of the Lich, Vishalon, who is of a low Divine Power Level, was created from a part of the divinity of Tálos, the Lord of the Storm.

Unfortunately, as soon as the Great Lich became a deity, he turned against the Lord of the Storm. He allied himself with Azus, the God of Arcane Mages, and with the help of Mystal, thwarted the Lord of the Storm’s revenge.

“Mechanism Emperor Osiris!” Talos, seated on the Divine Throne, grew somber at the sight of the vast Metal Continent. It was to avoid this situation that he refused to engage in combat with Akmonde.

As a deity with Powerful Divine Force, he was not afraid of a Titan who had ascended to epic status less than a thousand years ago. If it were just this one Titan, the Lord of the Storm would not mind a fight, for he himself was a deity who advocated destruction.

However, it’s never that simple to battle an epic. If defeated, well, there would be nothing more to say, but in case of victory, he was sure that an even stronger Epic Titan would emerge from the Titan Clan Lands to face him…until he was defeated.

An Epic Titan is representative of a group of Epic Titans. Plus, the Titan Tribe is on good terms with the number one Divine Tribe in the Heavenly Realm and is well-liked by many orderly deities. Judging by the current form of that youngster, the Titan Tribe also seems to be hitting it off with the Dragon Race…As such, if he dared to make a move, he would certainly pay. Instead of risking disgrace in battle, it would be better to stay in the Divine Kingdom and avoid it all.

Indeed, Tálos was powerful, but he was a god who had terribly bad luck. When he got smacked by the Epic Titan, others would just cheer and clap, and none of the other deities would step in to break it up.

After weighing the pros and cons, the not-so-proud Tálos, seeing the vast Metal Continent before him, quietly changed his mind. “Akmonde, how much divinity will satisfy you?”

Feeling the familiar pulsation behind him and noticing the Lord of the Storm’s suddenly softened attitude, Akmonde knew exactly what was happening. Mechanism Emperor Osiris was supporting him.

“I don’t require too much. Just as much as you gave Vishalon. I don’t need any of your information. Your insights on the laws of fire, storm, and thunder will suffice,” Akmonde put forth his conditions. In his opinion, he was already being very polite, extending an appropriate degree of respect to the Powerful Deity, even in a moment of conceding.

“Out of the question!” Without giving it a second thought, the Lord of the Storm categorically refused the proposal to give away enough divinity to create another deity. When he had initially given this divinity to Vishalon, who was then an excommunicated Red Robe Mage and still a mortal, his intention had been to create a divine servant whom he could manipulate freely. According to his original plan, the part of his divinity that he would lose would still indirectly remain under his control.

“Then fight!” After being turned down, Akmonde didn’t mince words, gripping his battle ax, he swung at the divine kingdom before him. An axe light, almost one thousand meters long, came slashing down, falling into the Storm God’s kingdom.

The axe light, possessing the law of Destruction, and wrapped in Thunder, carved a shocking abyss into the land of the Divine Kingdom. Wherever the axe light traveled, a part of Tálos’s already meager Worshipers were instantly annihilated.

“Titan!” On seeing Akmonde’s audacious attempt to forcefully attack his divine kingdom, the Lord of the Storm was furious to the point of losing his senses. It was anybody’s guess how many deities were watching him at this moment, and if he didn’t put up a fight under such circumstances, how could he retain his dignity in the future?

“Charge!” With the Mechanism Emperor backing him, Akmonde made a bold decision to experience attacking a Powerful Divine Force’s Divine Kingdom. Moreover, he felt that apart from the Mechanism Emperor, two of his same kind were also on the verge of awakening.

And so, a battle of the gods commenced. Akmonde, leading more than ten Foreign Ancient Dragons, stepped into the kingdom of the Storm God. The power of the Epics spread across, resisting the divine kingdom’s laws that changed to oppose them. They carved out a battlefield that wouldn’t suppress his legion, right at the entrance to the Storm Lord’s divine kingdom, letting them clash with the swarming worshipers.

“This is the first battle. We can’t make a poor show.” In the vast Metal Continent, Mechanism Emperor Osiris looked up at the violent battlefield, contemplated slightly, and decided to offer limited support to his clansman.

“Open the Stellar Orbital Cannon, aim at the divine kingdom of the Storm God Talos!” The Mechanism Emperor issued the order in his signature calm tone.

“Master, based on calculations, a Stellar Orbital Cannon running at full power stands a 100% chance of piercing through the Storm Lord’s divine kingdom, a 10% chance to shatter it completely, and a 0.1% chance to put the Storm Lord into a Sleeping State.

If the intention is just to provide support for Lord Akmonde, we recommend operating the Stellar Orbital Cannon at 30% of its power, or activating the ten Space-based Star Destroyer Cannons instead.”

“Fire the Stellar Orbital Cannon at full power. No need for any reservations,” ordered the decisively Mechanism Emperor. A cannon firing powerful enough to put the STorm Lord into a Sleeping State, a situation with a small probability, was out of the question unless he had a death wish. This 0.1% chance was just a figure based on the vsolatile nature of the STorm Lord.

The Metal Continent beneath the Mechanism Emperor’s feet began to shake. Large metal plates started moving and rising, forming a metal ring after another. A massive surging force from all over the Metal Continent was converging on this ring.

The colossal energy change in the Erathia’s World instantly grabbed the attention of the deities, as they radiated a force that posed a significant threat to their lives. This included the Storm God, who was being outnumbered and beaten by Akmonde, the Lord of Barren Lands, along with a group of Ancient Dragons wielding the power of the world.
