King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 498 - 498 494 The Resentment of the Storm Lord

Chapter 498: Chapter 494 The Resentment of the Storm Lord Chapter 498: Chapter 494 The Resentment of the Storm Lord Many factors can impact one’s combat abilities, with rank merely being one part of it. Although the Law of the World has forced the Whip Girl and Spider Queen Rose to the same level, the former still couldn’t compete against the latter, constantly being pinned down and beaten ruthlessly.

The same was happening nearby; the God of the Hunt, Mara, couldn’t fight back at all, being continuously beaten down by the Sea Goddess.

Meanwhile, Muria didn’t let up in the slightest since other Evil Gods had descended as well, such as Bribodup – the God of the Koutao Fishmen, who could challenge him now. Bribodup was a deity who had once been humiliated by Muria and surely, he wasn’t the only one.

“Despicable insects, this is the consequence of disrespecting deities.” Upon descending, the Mother of the Sea who also wields a trident as a weapon, sent Muria flying with a single strike. Her voice was filled with arrogance.

Compared to other deities, the Mother of the Sea was somewhat more sensitive. She couldn’t bear mortals disrespecting her, especially when her followers were continuously dwindling and being taken away by other entities.

“You’re but a racial god!” Muria, who was sent flying onto the ground by the Mother of the Sea, revealed a helpless smile. For a Sea Goddess, Bribodup wasn’t renowned. Her religious belief came from a single source, making her a virtually unknown existence in the world of intermediate divine strength.

Even so, Muria still couldn’t compete with her. A long-lived deity was beyond the reach of a young Titan and a son of a dragon who hadn’t even lived for a century. Even with the power to barely contend with their avatars, he still couldn’t defeat them. Muria needed more time to hone himself.

“Prepare to embrace death, you blasphemer!” The Mother of the Sea raised her trident and pointed it towards Muria. A thick spear of water was formed from the gathering condensation around the tip of her trident, then it shot towards Muria.

“I’m barely hanging on.” With a slowing influx of power from the Dragon King’s Original Blood, a weakening Muria stood up from the depression created by his impact, gripping his Startling God Battle Axe, prepared to counter the incoming strike.

“Click!” After the descent of the deities’ avatars, the space – reinforced countless times, suddenly shattered like a mirror that had been thrown to the ground. It then formed a massive spatial tunnel, within which was filled with vivid purple—the burning flames of the Purple Demon Fire.

A massive crescent moon blade flew out from the space, hitting the rapidly approaching spear of water and evaporating it instantly. It then proceeded to cleave the slightly taken aback Mother of the Sea, a piece of lobster shell fell off, and a part of her avatar’s head was chopped off.

Then, under the gazes of many people watching the battle with various intents, a large nine-tailed Fox Emperor, covered with flowing silver-white fur, slowly walked out from the spatial tunnel now coloured purple by the demon fire. He stood in front of Muria in an elegant and majestic stance, his demonic aura pervading the surroundings as he looked at everyone with indifference.

“What creature are you?” The Mother of the Sea, who couldn’t resist and lost a part of her skull under the attention of many deities, was extremely angry, but no matter how furious she was, she didn’t dare to act recklessly.

Without any response, the Fox Emperor surveyed the Mother of the Sea with his demonically alluring eyes for three breaths before shifting his gaze to other deities’ avatars. Wherever the Fox Emperor gaze fell, the fighting stopped. No deity dared to continue fighting each other in front of such a being. His threatening aura was too overwhelming. The chaotic battlefield fell silent after the Fox Emperor took a look around.

“Even an Epic wouldn’t disregard a deity.” Noticed that she was being ignored, the Mother of the Sea grew completely furious. To maintain her dignity as a deity, she raised her trident…

“Thwack!” A silver paw wrapped in Purple Demon Flame reached out, smashing the Mother of the Sea’s avatar who was about to make her presence known, and fixing her on a mountain. What remained of her avatar was crushed and half of the mountain was destroyed.

“Fox Emperor!” Muria, who was preparing to join the fight and had worked out the worst-case scenario, looked surprised at the appearance of the domineering yet elegant nine-tailed Fox Emperor.

So Muria relaxed at this point. Though he still couldn’t gauge how powerful the Nether Purple Emperor was, there was no doubt that these deities’ avatars that had their powers limited weren’t his opponents. For the Mother of the Sea’s avatar had already been shattered under the Fox Emperor’s single claw attack without having any chance to resist or struggle.

“Are you seeking to shelter this Titan? Powerful being from the Void,” the Spider Queen Rose asked in a solemn tone while looking at the arrogant Fox Emperor whose silver-white hair fluttered within the purple demon flames.

She couldn’t recall a being this powerful ever being born in the Erathia World, so it was without doubt that it came from the Void.

Without responding, the Fox Emperor seemed reluctant to talk to any deity. Yet, purple flames rose from his body, and his nine tails, large and long like mountain ridges, attacked the avatars of all deities present…

At the moment when the Fox Emperor appeared on the Senapus Subcontinent, Akmonde, the Lord of the Wild, had set out from among a vast semi-plane exuding a primitive aura. Before his eyes, images of more than a dozen Evil Gods who have descended flashed past. Following which, he shook his head, “Not strong enough, let’s settle scores later!”

Let’s find those guys first!” He thought, and the semi-plane, which was close to evolving into a complete world, quivered. The power of the world converged and a golden path formed under his feet, extending towards the endless distance. The Lord of the Wild, Akmonde, embarked on this long spatial path with his subordinate army.

In the Heart of Rage Domain, Talos, the Lord of Storm, sat aloft on his Divine Throne, watching the battle on the Senapus Subcontinent, silently playing the role of a disinterested deity.

“I told you that the half-blood Titan was not ordinary. The power of the Dragon King in him is about to be exhausted, and immediately an existence like this appeared. This Fox Emperor is probably introduced by the Titan and originates from the Void. If he sneaked in by himself, that would be interesting.”

Upon sighting the Fox Emperor, Talos voiced his opinion to himself, full of enthusiasm.

Until a golden path extended from the Erathia World to his Divine Kingdom’s doorstep, this powerful deity’s expression changed. He finally understood where the odd feeling in his heart was coming from.

“Lord of the Wild, what do you want with me? I didn’t mess with you Titans,” Talos angrily watched the majestic and towering Titan outside his Divine Kingdom, and the powerful Ancient Dragons from the other world who posed some problems for him, as well as the overwhelming ferocious beast army, which was surging continuously.

“Your subordinate gods have descended and participated in the war targeting my direct descendent, and your believers have also joined in,” Akmonde, clad in armor and holding a bloody double-edged battle axe, stated a certain fact in a calm tone.

“I didn’t issue an order to attack your descendants,” The Lord of Storms cursed the God of Hunt, Mara, and the Sea God, Amboli, in his heart, these two idiots who got him into trouble, as well as those believers who joined the chaos out of boredom. “Attacking your descendants was their spontaneous action, it has nothing to do with me. You should go and settle with them, and not block my Divine Kingdom.”

Without any hesitation, the Lord of Storms, Talos, shirked his own responsibility, leaving the Lord of the Wild, Akmonde, to deal with the two subordinate gods who had long stopped listening to his commands. He didn’t believe he was obliged to protect these two jerks.

“You, as a majestic Lord God, can still say such a thing? Do you really think I would believe you, when you claim the choices your subordinate gods and believers have made have nothing to do with you?” Akmonde lifted his battle axe, around him, the Black Glitter Dragon, the Flame King Dragon and many other ancient dragons, containing the power of the world, roared.

“What do you want?” Talos, realizing he indeed cannot separate himself from this matter logically, asked unwillingly.

“Give me a satisfactory answer.”

“What kind of answer do you want?”

“Divinity!”

“Impossible!” Talos flatly refused. Divinity was one of the four foundations of deities; it can’t be separated casually.

“Then come out and fight with me!”

“Hmph!” Talos, the Lord of Storm sitting on his Divine Throne, sneered. “If you have the ability, bring your legion into my Divine Kingdom. You Titans are good at fighting, aren’t you?”

“You dare not come out!” Akmonde spoke calmly. Even if he was a warmonger, he wouldn’t be rash enough to enter a Divine Kingdom ruled by a deity of strong divine power and wage a war.

“You dare not come in!” The Lord of Storm was full of confidence. However, when a Metal Continent Virtual Shadow gradually condensing appeared behind the Lord of the Wild, the deity’s face suddenly froze…
