King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 493 - 493 489 Balrog Flame Demon Fool
Chapter 493: Chapter 489 Balrog Flame Demon Fool Chapter 493: Chapter 489 Balrog Flame Demon Fool An individual’s life is influenced by external behaviors, and exhibiting behaviors in line with the majority in their perception, judgment, and understanding is a psychological phenomenon pervasive amongst most individuals.
Humans are conformists, and deities seem to possess the same psychology. For instance, Muria discovered that unrelated evil gods, whom he’s never offended, also sent believers to assassinate him, such as the Black Blood Beast Mara and its only ally, the Whip Lashing Maiden.
“Did the Mother of Evil Dragons also issue a divine oracle, mandating you to hunt me down?” Muria coldly looked at the three ancient dragons in front of him, not expecting that even the Five Colored Dragon Empress had become involved.
“Well, that didn’t happen.” An ancient black dragon extended its bony claw and scratched its chin, “We’re just a little curious, why are the cultists of the evil god chasing you across the continent? Do you possess a treasure that even the deities want?”
“If I said no, would you believe me?” Muria sneered at the ancient dragons greedily sizing him up. After all, his body donned the Saintly Imperial Abyss armor, and nine blood-smeared exclusive weapons circled his back.
Considering the ancient dragons’ experience and perspective, they could definitely identify the metal from which these weapons were cast. These five-colored ancient dragons were here to take advantage of a dire situation.
“Hehe, aren’t you wearing it, then?” Another blue dragon, covered with blue-white thunder, inspected Muria with dubious intentions, its greed apparent in its eyes, appearing utterly lascivious.
“Titan descendant, we offer you a chance. Hand over the six weapons on your back. We will not only spare you but personally ensure your safety. How about it?”
The ancient red dragon, the strongest of the three obstructing dragons, opened its mouth wide and directly demanded Muria’s exclusive weapons.
“Ha!” Muria sneered dismissively. The ancient red dragon was testing him. If Muria genuinely chose to surrender his weapons, these three ancient dragons would without a doubt seize the opportunity to steal them. The greed of dragons is endless, and Muria was fully aware of this.
“Intimidating a titan, what emboldens you?” Golden thunder gleamed in Muria’s eyes as the Seven Sins Blade hovering behind him settled into his hand.
“Boom!” Thunder boomed at Muria’s feet as his magnificent titan body directly charged towards the ancient red dragon. A radiant blade emerged, becoming the world’s focal point, as it struck the surprised and enraged ancient red dragon.
“An undistinguished Titan, acting so arrogant, thinking he can defy an ancient dragon’s majesty just because he has fought with a few legendary figures?” Facing Muria’s assault, the ancient red dragon responded defiantly. The red spirit light sparked on its dragon body, scorching and nearly distorting the space, causing cracks.
“Boom!” A massive explosion resonated as Muria and the ancient red dragon collided, a visible spherical shockwave emerged, sweeping everything in its path. Grass broke, rocks flew, and the heavens and earth became chaotic.
“Ancient red dragon, huh, I don’t see how you’re stronger than other legends?” Muria’s voice, laced with scorn, echoed. As the chaotic elemental clouds dissipated, Muria and the somewhat disheveled ancient red dragon were revealed.
“Bastard, if it weren’t for your weapon, how could a not yet fully-grown titan like you injure me?” The dragon’s claw twitched uncontrollably as the ancient red dragon roared. This was the result of a full-strength attack it had initially carried out, which ended in it only managing to scratch Muria. On its chest, a slowly healing wound oozed lava-like blood. This was the wound Muria had inflicted just moments ago.
“Weapons and equipment are also part of one’s strength. You’re a nearly thousand-year-old antique, don’t you understand this principle?” Muria looked at the slowly fading dragon blood on the Seven Sins Blade in his hand, a satisfied smile on his face. Fighting formidable creatures was not only a growth process for him, but it was the same for his weapons as well.
“Moreover, you’ve lived so long, yet you can’t even produce a decent set of armour, don’t you find that particularly shameful for the Dragon Race?”
“Roar!” The Ancient Red Dragon let out an annoyed roar. This dragon species was known for its proud nature. Although its pride had waned over the years, the arrogance inherent to giant dragons would never fully fade.
“Merely Soul Intent Level, don’t think that relying on a few legendary equipment gives you the strength to contend with me.” Driven by a cocktail of emotions, greed, pride, and anger, the Ancient Red Dragon, radiant and hot like an erupting supervolcano, spread its wings and released its liquified flames at Muria.
“Your opponent is me, Balrog Flame Demon, Broken Horn.” Just as Muria was grasping the Prison Suppression Battle Halberd behind him, preparing for battle, a figure with a fragmented body suddenly appeared in front of him, just as it had during several previous battles.
“Stand down!” Muria furrowed his brows and scolded.
“Master, leave this red dragon to me, you go and deal with the other ancient dragons.” Balrog Flame Demon, Broken Horn, once defeated by Ansol and later transformed by the Lord of the Abyss, once again willingly faced Muria’s strongest enemy.
“Move out of the way, you are no match for it!”
“Roar!” Ignoring Muria’s commands, the Balrog Flame Demon, its chaotic nature erased, wielded the Beheading Sword and Flame Whip and charged the Ancient Red Dragon.
“Broken Horn, this is my opponent.” Muria dropped the Seven Sins Blade, picked up the Sun-chasing Spear, lifted his right arm, and with all his might, threw it.
“Roar!” The Ancient Red Dragon, distracted by Broken Horn, was unable to dodge the thunderous Sun-chasing Spear. Its body was directly pierced, and it let out an angry roar, “Titan, I won’t rest until you’re dead!”
“Didn’t you already plan to finish me off when you stood in front of me?” Muria whispered, not at all intimidated by the dragon’s threat. If he didn’t care about the curse of the Evil God, what did the curse of an ancient dragon count for?
“If you want to fight my master, you’ll have to kill me first.” Broken Horn stood firm like a huge, indestructible mountain, blocking the Ancient Red Dragon’s assault, preventing it from fighting Muria.
“You and your debilitated body, do you think you can stop me?” Roared the Ancient Red Dragon, its belly bearing a knife wound and a spear lodged in its body, it looked crazed.
It was indeed severely injured, but the Balrog Flame Demon in front of it was worse off. Its wings were almost torn off, its tail was only half left, and its limbs were all unnaturally twisted.
“Broken Horn!” Seeing his only remaining demon servant having a chunk of flesh torn off by the Ancient Red Dragon, a surge of energy boiled within Muria, like raging Dragon Flames…..
