King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 490 - 490 486 Striking Teammates

Chapter 490: Chapter 486: Striking Teammates Chapter 490: Chapter 486: Striking Teammates The thick scent of the sea lingered, the sound of fluctuating tides echoed over the vast plain, and an illusionary azure sea appeared.

“This is quite an overbearing spectacle,” Muria looked at the spectacle appearing due to the spatial fluctuations by her side, the blackness in her eyes receded entirely, revealing her Dazzling Golden Eye. As she was already surrounded, there was no further need for her to hide.

“Shifanlin, I’m impressed. You (were) able to intercept the Progeny of Titan from the space itself. If we were to let him escape, it would indeed be a huge regret.” The viscous seawater, filled with a foul smell, broke through the space, wrapping around a monstrous and strange eight-tentacled sea monster.

“God’s gift, if missed, would indeed be a long-lasting regret for me.” A six-armed Naga swung, creating a streak of radiant light that sliced open the space. It slithered out with its brightly-colored snake tail, and its brown vertical slit-like eyes greedily stared at Muria.

“Are you all just thinking about reaping benefits? Haven’t you considered the punishment our deity would inflict upon us if this Progeny of Titan were to escape?” A seductive siren appeared behind Muria, riding the sea waves. Within the waves, over a hundred strange siren figures appeared faintly.

“Cecil, you’re really spending a fortune. You brought out all members of your tribe at the Gold Rank or above, aren’t you afraid that they’ll all die on this continent? By then, your siren tribe will just have their name left and nothing else.”

The legendary sea monster with eight tentacles slapped the surrounding foul-smelling seawater, and asked maliciously. Meanwhile, suckers on its tentacles contracted, revealing small mouths full of fangs, looking disgusting and feral.

“If you want all the members of my tribe to fall, at least one or two legends should fall as well.” Legendary sea siren Cecil stared fearlessly at the freakishly contorted body of the eight-tentacled octopus sea monster, her gaze defiant. The creatures in the deep sea, probably due to the lack of observers, appeared to grow according to their own desires.

After Shifanlin of the Azure Feathered Wings, the three subsequent legendary sea creatures seemed to know each other. Upon seeing each other, they began to mock each other in a bellicose manner. The atmosphere was tense, as if a fight could break out at any moment.

“I say, since you all have resentments against each other, why not stop the squabbling and the mocking? Instead of weak words, aren’t actions more persuasive?” Muria, sensing that the killing intent around her wasn’t aimed at her, offered a very pertinent suggestion.

“Why don’t you fight first, and then the surviving winner can fight with me? I believe that a complete Titan must make your deity happier and grant more rewards. Otherwise, among you four legends, how will you divide me, a single Titan, fairly?”

Hearing Muria’s taunting words, Legendary Six-armed Naga was not pleased, “Progeny of Titan, do you think we are idiots?”

“Heehee!” An eminent smile surfaced on Muria’s face. The believers of sea deities, who were usually chaotic, can’t be expected to behave normally.

One can understand the nature of chaotic creatures by looking at the doltish demons of the Abyss. Despite countless layers of the Abyss, and countless years of battle, they still haven’t captured the nine levels of Hell. From time to time, they were even pushed back by those devils. It’s simply incredible.

“Exactly. Titan, do you think we’re idiots?” The legendary sea monster, which was all alone without a single minion, echoed Naga’s words because it believed that it wasn’t an idiot.

“However, I think he makes a valid point. Let’s fight first, otherwise, titan would only belong to one of us. We need to decide who deserves it,” the speaker urged.

“I have never come across such a legendary figure as cunning as you,” seeing the massive eight-arm octopus believing in his own lies, Muria could not help but burst into laughter, praising it for its wit.

“Fwoosh!” As soon as it was proposed, the cunning legendary eight-arm octopus struck out its tentacles covered with sucker-like fangs towards the legendary siren beside it and Shifanlin, who was fighting a fierce battle against the Balrog Flame Demon. Of course, it did not spare Broken Horn and Muria either; its attack was indiscriminate, targeting all around it.

“Idiot, brain-dead!” Engaged in a battle with Broken Horn, Shifanlin was caught off guard. A single tentacle from the octopus monster knocked him over, plunging him to the ground. In the air, scattered fragments of broken scales and shiny, bloody feathers fluttered around, creating a dreadful scene.

When the tentacle of the eight-tentacle octopus sea monster struck Shifanlin, a myriad of mouth-like structures on it gnawed chunks of flesh from his body. Shifanlin- a hybrid creature of bird and mermaid- fought several rounds with Broken Horn without getting injured, but he was severely harmed by the sea monster’s attack.

On the other side, the legendary siren, Cecil, who was also attacked by the sea monster, did not suffer a miserable fate like Shifanlin. However, her own people lost four to the tentacle of the sea monster.

Hit my teammates, spare my enemies!

If this stupid sea monster hadn’t attacked him, Muria would definitely have come up with lavish praise for it. Such enemies, powerful but devoid of wisdom, are rare and must be complimented. Unfortunately, it did not spare Muria.

“You go kill that hybrid fish, I’ll deal with this sea monster.” Muria stopped the Balrog Flame Demon under his feet that wanted to intercept the incoming tentacle. Instead, he instructed it to take the advantage of the moment and finish off the hybrid fish.

As the Balrog Flame Demon left his feet, Muria deactivated his shape-shifting spell, fully revealing his true form of Titan. The golden energy surged, symbolizing the powerful physique of Muria.

The majestic Titan stood in the sky, holding a thunder-wrapped halberd that met with the tentacle that had broken through the sound barrier and was falling with a trail of white mist.

“Splurt!” The Prison-suppression halberd, forged from a blend of nine legendary metals, proved its sharpness. No creature’s body could resist the edge of this weapon. The octopus sea monster’s tentacle was cut off in mid-air, causing it the most damage. The foul odorous blood flowed like a waterfall, sprinkling over the forest below that had suffered from the aftermath of the battle.

“Whish!” “Whish!”…The sound of a slashing sword echoed from behind. The legendary Naga, the only one untouched by the sea monster’s attack, brandished her curved sword at Muria’s broad back.

“A legendary figure sneak attacking a man of my standing, don’t you think that diminishes your esteem?” Muria drew out his Army-breaking Halberd and, with an air of magnificence, cleaved through six sword auras surrounded by thunderfire, striking right at the legendary Naga’s weapon…
