Chapter 488 - 488 484 Shadow Girl Elise Jade

Chapter 488: Chapter 484: Shadow Girl Elise Jade Chapter 488: Chapter 484: Shadow Girl Elise Jade “Quite a stroke of luck, running into a group of seafood.” After Broken Horn had travelled through spacetime, brought him back to the Material World from afar, Muriya beheld a group of fishmen, bearing a playful smile on his face, his eyes brimming with murderous intent.

After stepping through the threshold of the extraordinary, life gradually shakes off its dependence on the environment. The stronger one gets, the less the environment affects oneself. In the eyes of mortal things, what is a wasteland becomes flat ground to a powerful extraordinary being.

For example, fearing fire and water in humans stop at the gold rank, when one breaks the limit of their body, one can have a physique fit to swim in magma. Creatures of the sea can also be less reliant on water after reaching gold rank. They possess the capabilities to exist on dry land and fly through the sky.

But under normal circumstances, these powerful sea creatures would not come ashore. Even though they can adapt to a terrestrial environment, nothing is more comfortable than the sea. But in some cases, such as when one receives a divine oracle…

“Which deity’s believer are you?” Muriya asked the Koutao Fishman in front of him, who seemed to be discussing something, with a smile.

The Koutao fishmen who were alive to witnessed Muriya’s materialisation from the shattered space looked at each other. Their dead fish eyes showed the proper awe of legends.

Carefully eyeing Muriya, they gave each other a glance and from the crowd, came a strong fishman who appeared to be the leader. He stepped forward and reported to Muriya politely:

“Sir, we are believers in the great Demon Lord, the king of the deep sea.”

“Daguan’s believer?” Muriya nodded, his smile softened, “Are you also coming to kill Muria, the offspring of the Titan?”

“Yes.” The commander, with only soul-intent second rank strength, answered respectfully. He discreetly assessed Muriya and the Balrog Flame Demon looking like sturdy men behind him, guessing which one is the legend, or perhaps both are.

“Do you know the strength of that Titan offspring?” Muriya asked further with a warm smile.

“We do know. According to the divine decree of the king of the deep sea, this offspring of the Titan is said to possess the power at the peak of soul intent.”

“Oh, then do you know what the two words ‘Titan’ stand for?”

“According to the legends passed down in the ocean, the Titan represents being invincible at the same level. Almost no creature can fight evenly with them.”

“Since you all know, how could you, with the strength you have, dare to pursue this offspring of the Titan? Aren’t you afraid that when you really encounter it, it will just grind you into a pile of scrap?”

The formation of the group of fishmen in front of him was indeed luxurious to ordinary lifeforms, purely made up of powerful fishmen above the gold rank. However, they could not even mess with any soul intention peak Titans, let alone fight with Muriya.

“Exalted sir, you may not know, but this time we are led by several legendary beings to hunt down this offspring of the Titan Tribe. We are just one of the search teams, only responsible for searching, not fighting. If we really run into that Titan, we would definitely run without a word.”

“That’s better, at least you haven’t forgotten the prestige of the Titan.” Muriya originally thought that these guys were just a pack of fools who didn’t regard the Titan highly, but now it seems they still hold a certain awe for the Titan.

“The number of Titans is indeed too small.” Muriya sighed slightly in his heart. Although this group of seafood still held reverence for the Titan, it wasn’t enough. The fact that this group of guys dared to pursue him under the command of a demon was the best proof.

Too few creatures have had the good fortune to see a Titan, and fewer still have seen a Titan in battle. So many creatures know of the existence and strength of the Titans, but they don’t know exactly how powerful they are.

“Sir, who might you be?” When the fishman commander saw the interest this impromptu black-haired young man showed in the Titan, he felt something was wrong and tried to probe Muriya’s identity.

“A demon warlock, Diablo.” Muriya smiled faintly, revealing his name, then watched the group of fishmen. Their faces were changing as rapidly as the face-changing act in Sichuan Opera after hearing his name.

“Lord Diablo, if there is nothing else, we would like to request permission to leave.” The fishmen commander who had already heard about Muriya’s notoriety actively asked to be excused, hoping for evasion.

“I still have one small request.”

“What is it?” While the fishman commander was dealing with Muriya, he was planning how to increase the distance from Muriya after leaving him.

“My little lions are hungry, could you be so kind as to enter their bellies to satisfy their hunger?”

As he spoke, more and more Blood Lion Demons began to appear next to Muriya. They drooled at the fishmen whose vitality and energy were full, their mouths drooling non-stop.

“Don’t run, let’s stick together. As long as we can last until Azure Feathered Wings comes to help us…”

“Regrettably, I fear you won’t last that long.”

… Less than a quarter of an hour later, aside from the broken fish scales and blood stains on the ground, there was no further evidence that those fishmen had ever been there.

“Why haven’t you left this subcontinent right away?” A soft voice came into Muriya’s ears, like a lover whispering in his ear, making him intrigued, almost compelling him to see the owner of this interesting voice.

“Who’s there? Show yourself.” Muriya’s brows knitted together in determination. A powerful mental force gushed from his eyebrows, sweeping vigilantly in all directions.

“Reckless and arrogant offspring of the Titan.” The beautiful voice sounded again. “I’m here.”

A faint spatial fluctuation arrived, Muriya caught this fluctuation, and immediately figured out the source of this fluctuation. The voice didn’t try to hide at all.

Muriya directly locked in the coordinates and teleported himself to that location – atop a cliff. Then, a head of silver hair up to the ankles appeared in Muriya’s eyes. The cold mountain wind, carrying a hint of chill, blew through, lifting the silver hair to reveal the smooth, tender, nude body.

Muriya was startled for a moment. He didn’t expect to see another Zor Elf without clothes in such a short time. But the one in front of him was unlike the one transformed from the wax melting monster before him.

“Good night, beautiful girl.” Muriya’s lips curled upwards slightly and his originally alert mind relaxed instantly. The power within her that made Muriya feel somewhat familiar and yet foreign helped him recognize the identity of the tall and well-proportioned Zor Elf in front of him. It was the Shadowy Girl, Elise Greenwood, a kind deity.
