Chapter 459 - 459 455 One Man is a Legion
Chapter 459: Chapter 455: One Man is a Legion Chapter 459: Chapter 455: One Man is a Legion “Crack!” A crisp sound of shattering echoed, and Muria, looking at the cocoon before her that had turned into a crimson gold color, had a hint of anticipation on her face. Undoubtedly, after drinking her own blood, Remilia would definitely undergo significant changes. The change in the color of the spirit light in this cocoon was the best proof.
After the tiny cracks covered the cocoon that shone with crimson gold spirit light, it burst with a loud “Bang!” Turning into specks of spirit light dust scattered all around, a pair of magnificent wings slowly unfolded, revealing the naked blue-haired Loli curled up inside. All her clothes seemed to have dissolved during her slumber.
“Just as I thought!” Muria looked at Remilia, who was now revealing herself, and a confident smile appeared on her face. “Based on Remilia’s appearance now, anyone who dares to call her a Blood Clan member, I’ll blow their heads off.”
Remilia’s appearance had changed dramatically since she went into hibernation. The pair of enormous bat wings on her back that symbolized her Blood Clan identity had completely transformed.
They now bore some resemblance to Muria’s dragon wings. The large pair of wings were covered with feather-like scales. Black and gold intertwined on them, evolving into a mystic pattern. It looked magnificent and splendid, emitting a mysterious and exotic aura, coupled with a sense of majesty.
Unfortunately, the wings seemed quite nice alone, but when they appeared on Remilia’s back, majesty was a hardly fitting word. Even if this Loli put on a stern face and tried hard to look extremely serious, it was pointless.
“Muria!” Waking up from her slumber, Remilia, whose expression was slightly bewildered, saw Muria. A feeling of inner joy emerged. She expanded her wings and directly hugged Muria in a flying leap.
“Have you slept for so long? How do you feel?” Muria took off his robe and draped it over Remilia, then picked her up, and asked in a gentle tone.
“While sleeping, I felt warm and comfortable all the time,” Remilia answered obediently.
“Oh!” Muria nodded, taking a good look at Remilia’s crimson eyes which seemed to have no change. “Release your Soul Intent Circles and let me take a look.”
Faint electrical sparks twinkled on Remilia’s body. The flames that were so faint they were almost void burned slightly. One by one, Soul Intent Circles appeared and rotated behind her, shining with an enchanting and sacred glow.
“Interesting!” Muria raised an eyebrow as he looked at the Soul Intent Circles that Remilia had released, with a look of interest on his face. He had seen the Soul Intent Circles that Remilia condensed when she first advanced her soul intent. Those Soul Intent Circles were of pure blood color, carrying a sense of exotic and enchanting eeriness.
Now, her Soul Intent Circles, although still primarily blood-colored, had golden patterns on them, and imparted a sense of imperial dominance.
“My blood seems to have influenced Remilia’s soul.” Muria’s eyes narrowed slightly as he sensed the familiar aura on those fifteen soul intents.
“I’ve become stronger.” Seeing her increased number of Soul Intent Circles, Remilia revealed a delighted smile on her face. “Where’s Yingdila? I want to fight with her for bullying me.”
“Don’t be silly, you can’t beat her at this point.” Muria ruffled her short pale blue hair, the only part of her that hadn’t changed much. When the Soul Intent Circles appeared just now, he noticed her red pupils had turned golden.
During the Magic Disaster, Yingdila consumed the bodies of low-grade demons by the millions, undergoing some mysterious and unpredictable changes. Even Muria felt a bit apprehensive when he looked at Yingdila now. Fortunately, this Loli from the Void was now very obedient.
“I think I can beat her.” Having consumed Muria’s blood, there was a small leap in Remilia’s strength. Her body was filled with a sense of confidence and an influx of power that made her believe in her own victory.
“The three great illusions of life!” Muria looked at the slightly inflated Remilia, thinking it was necessary to give this Loli a wake-up call about her own limitations.
So, Muria fetched Yingdila—who seemed a bit out of sorts and somewhat dazed. With a serious face, he warned her, “Go easy on her. Don’t let Remilia get too badly hurt”.
“I know, I’ve fought with her many times. I understand her better than you do.” Hearing Muria’s somewhat nagging reminder, Yingdila looked a bit impatient, then charged directly towards the eager Remilia.
“This is just slightly better than chickens pecking at each other.” Watching the two Lolis fight, Muria was a bit disheartened. He had been working hard to teach them combat skills, but they just let it in one ear and out the other. Instead, they relied solely on their inherent bloodline strengths or their innately powerful physiques, which really made Muria shake his head.
Just when Muria was about to turn around and leave out of boredom, something surprised him. Remilia, under pressure from Yingdila’s overwhelming power and realizing there was no hope of victory, utilized a signature Blood Clan ability: Transform into Bats.
Amidst a mediocre burst of light, many Exotic Beasts resembling both bats and flying dragons split off from Remilia’s body. Within a few moments, the entire Arena, which Muria had built especially for these two Lolis, was swarming with Exotic Beasts transformed from Remilia.
Muria had anticipated this level of change, but Yingdila’s response was a surprise. Faced with a swarm of nearly a thousand three-meter-long flying dragons, the shadow of a Nine-Tailed Evil Dragon flashed behind Yingdila, who then equally split into similar numbers of baby Fang Dragons.
“What kind of ability is this?” Muria watched the Blood Wing Dragon Group and the Fang Dragon Group slaughter each other, his lips quivered slightly, betrayed a trace of unnoticeable envy. This “one person, one army” ability is something he also wanted, but there was no point in envying something he can’t have.
Clearly, Remilia’s ability was an evolution of the Blood Clan’s talent, and Yingdila’s splitting ability was probably gained from consuming demons. The types and quantity of Abyss demons are virtually endless, so it’s not peculiar for a few creatures with splitting abilities to appear.
…
Having received a clear indication of her own strength after her confrontation with Yingdila, Remilia was a little disheartened. She accepted Muria’s arrangements and prepared to succeed the throne that had been vacant for twelve years.
Following the ritual, Muria conducted the national broadcast of Remilia’s coronation ceremony. Under the eyes of the entire nation, he crowned this Loli princess, led her by the hand, guided her to the throne, and witnessed her as she accepted the worship of Lockman’s people.
