King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 442 - 442 437 Chaotic Demons
Chapter 442: Chapter 437 Chaotic Demons Chapter 442: Chapter 437 Chaotic Demons “Such an ugly demon!” Muria couldn’t help but exclaim as she cast her gaze over the rooftop at the illusion of the Demon Lord who was about to descend. Dimo Gao Gen, a demon so ugly that even its creator shunned it. Seriously, imagine how revolting the appearance of this abyssal ruler must be if even demons despised him.
“Which demon is descending now?”
“Your Majesty Mureya, save me.”
“Your Majesty, quickly open the semi-plane space gate.”
…
“What’s the panic?” Muria rebuked, observing the ministers and nobles who became flustered due to Dimo Gao Gen’s impending arrival and the emitted aura of terror, “This isn’t the first time we’ve been invaded by demons, show some dignity befitting the ruling class of the kingdom.”
Hearing Muria’s slightly angry voice, coupled with the dragon prestige she released to block the fear felt because of the Demon Lord, the nobles gradually settled down.
Once their emotions stabilized, these guys who had just been so frightened they burst into tears, initialized their composure. The vast disparity among life stages was something human willpower couldn’t resist.
Some of the aristocrats were so frightened by the demon they couldn’t speak, and about those who were too scared to have an accident, the ones who could stand here probably weren’t that degraded, probably!
“This demon, it dares to descend on the capital, it’s doomed!” A nobleman whose tears had been frightened out by the aura of the Demon Lord, and whose bladder was slightly painful, swore vehemently.
“Ignorant demon, there will be another bronze pillar next to the Demon Hunter Monument in the capital,” a minister sneered, while wiping the snot hanging from his mustache…
Since the Demon Tide began, demons had assaulted the capital before. This was full of randomness. The intelligent creatures on the Nocchio Subcontinent didn’t know when a demon would appear around them, and the demons entering the Material World also didn’t know where they would descend.
Undoubtedly, demons who descended in Lockman Kingdom were the unluckiest. If they couldn’t leave Lockman’s borders within a limited time, all that awaited them was the assault of the demon hunting team, a certain death.
The unluckiest demons were those that descended on the capital. After they emerged in Scarlet, their survival time was estimated in moments, regardless of their strength, the outcome was the same.
Of course, after legendary demons were beaten to death by Titan or the Ancient Dragon, they would receive different treatment – their wreckage would be processed and hung on a bronze pillar, becoming a silent deterrent.
“Humans really can’t be counted on.” Muria shook her head slightly as she looked at the group of nobles below.
“Your Majesty, your body?” A nobleman suddenly looked at Muria’s slightly illusory body with some panic and exclaimed in alarm.
“Your Majesty Mureya, what’s happening to you?”
The change in the body of the young man sitting on the throne stunned the human aristocrats in the Council Hall. They were not idiots. They knew they had to rely on Muria to survive the unprecedented disaster on the Nocchio Subcontinent.
If not for Mureya serving as the governing Duke, who knows what the Lockman Kingdom would look like now, and what trials they would have to endure.
“I’m not rushed, so why are you?” Muria raised his already half-transparent hand and looked at the anxious and earnest aristocrats in a somewhat amused manner.
“Your Majesty, what is happening to you?”
“Just a minor issue, it’s not a big problem.” Muria chuckled, looking calm and collected, but his body was becoming increasingly illusory, with the vague shape of a long sword appearing within it, however, a dazzling light soon emerged from it, making it impossible to see its specific form.
The main body was inspecting the embodied Laws, as the inexplicable information gained from this light were too overwhelming, leaving him no energy to maintain the existence of his avatar.
Muria had split into eight avatars, and now, barring the one in the Council Hall which was still trying to sustain its form, all the others collapsed, reverting to their weapon-like forms.
“All of you, enter the semi-plane! Stop getting in the way here.” Muria utilized the semi-plane control right left by Belradin, opened this narrow semi-plane where he first arrived, and forced all the aristocrats into it before he walked out of the Council Hall, looking up at the sky.
“Dimo Gao Gen!” Looking at the massive demon manifestation filling the heaven and earth, Muria murmured softly, disgust showing unconsciously on his face, “How dare he call himself the strongest demon of Abyss? If he claimed to be the ugliest demon of Abyss, absolutely no lords would object.”
Upon seeing Dimo Gao Gen, Muria suddenly thought of the demon lord’s lover, the infamous Succubus Demon Queen of the Abyss, Meikan Xiu Te.
She, the well-known Succubus Demon Queen, rejected the advances of Dark Prince Grasht. Feeling his proud sense of self-worth injured, Grasht, in retaliation, transformed into Meikan Xiu Te to lure the ugliest Tanari demon lord, Koschegi.
This ploy drove the Demon Queen nearly mad, cultivating an intense hatred for the Dark Lord, as many demons in the Abyss believed that the Meikan Xiu Te who fell into Koschegi’s lap was not a disguise by Grasht.
“Demons are truly peculiar creatures.” Muria, looking at the gradually solidifying demon lord, Dimo Gao Gen, in the sky, exclaimed sincerely.
He was somewhat puzzled. If the Demon Queen could accept someone like Dimo Gao Gen, why did she reject the Dark Lord? His strength wouldn’t be too inferior to Dimo Gao Gen. Developing an alliance would have been the best choice for Meikan Xiu Te.
But she rejected him. More absurdly, the method chosen by the spurned Dark Lord to take revenge on the Demon Queen was indeed suffocating. Who in their right senses would choose such a method of payback?
Indeed, the logic of normal creatures simply couldn’t comprehend the ways of these chaotic fools, even the seemingly normal Succubus Demon Queen, possessing devil-like mannerisms, showed signs of idiocy at times.
“Little Muria, it’s your first time seeing a legendary demon lord, isn’t it?” Out of nowhere, a black-skinned, white-haired Golden Dragon Mother with a flying skull encircling her appeared next to Muria.
“Is this its true form or just an avatar?”
“Of course it’s an avatar, those lords of the Abyss wouldn’t dare bring their true forms into Erathia world.”
“Why not?”
“Because, if their true forms enter the Erathia world, they will surely die!”
