King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 433 - 433 428 Disdain

Chapter 433: Chapter 428: Disdain Chapter 433: Chapter 428: Disdain Upon hearing the voice outside, the face of Zor Queen Dilara darkened instantly. Ever since she rose to power as a Divine Favorer and united the Dark Region, no one had ever dared to speak so disrespectfully to her. It felt surreal and absurd to her.

“Who dares to disrespect so?” An elf elder standing beneath the throne immediately reprimanded the offender.

Though there was no saying in Elasia that a subject should die for the insult of their ruler, the sentiment was nonetheless understood. The Zor Elves, though fond of political schemes and intrigues, knew when to act accordingly.

When facing a formidable external enemy, or under the allure of substantial benefits, these Dark Elves would still unite together. No matter what race, those who engage in constant struggles without considering the circumstances would inevitably be extinguished by others, unable to perpetuate their lineage.

“Atris, the Golden Sun!” A confident, dignified female voice once again echoed through the air, followed by her powerful dragon’s majesty.

“Golden Dragon!” Hearing the title “Golden Sun,” Queen Dilara of Zor’s expression grew even darker. Atris, a legendary golden dragon renowned throughout the world, was well-known even if one had not seen her in person. The circle of legends was not that big after all.

“This is outrageous.” Atris’ voice was filled with provocation, which drew angry responses from some of the Zor elf elders.

Although they were Zor elves whose nature and behaviors diverged greatly from those of the Forest Elves, they still retained some elfish traits, such as their pride.

“What is the relationship between this Golden Sun and the ruling duke? Is she a direct relative?” A Zor elf minister speculated with a furrowed brow, “What does she want with us? Ever since Muria ascended the throne, we’ve been forced to tribute fifty thousand elemental crystals to him every year, without fail. We’ve never provoked them.”

“We’ve always been oppressed by them, the golden dragons. We never provoked them.” One Zor elf elder protested indignantly.

“Why are we idle chitchatting? Let’s go out and see what gives this legendary Golden Dragon the audacity to provoke me so.” The Zor Queen, Dilara, commanded coldly. All she felt was the dragon’s majesty of the Golden Dragon Mother. She then vanished from her Black-Gold Throne.

Hovering in the sky above the Zor elf royal city, bathed in deep purple hues, stood Atris, her hair reaching her waist and her body enveloped in a golden glow. As her title suggested, she was like a sun descending on a land enveloped in eternal darkness.

The city’s inhabitants, most of whom had never laid eyes on the sun, couldn’t help but squint their eyes as they looked up at her figure in the sky.

“Golden Sun Atris.” Zor Queen Dilara, too, had hair reaching her waist. She appeared opposite the Golden Dragon Mother, suppressing her anger, “What brings you to my Medis Kingdom?”

“It’s really dark!” The Golden Dragon Mother examined the Zor elf maiden opposite her. Seeing Dilara’s contrasting snow-white hair and black skin, she couldn’t help but murmur in awe.

The Golden Dragon Mother thought that if she were to shave all the hair off this Zor queen and throw her down below, she wouldn’t be able to find her based only on sight.

Upon hearing the Golden Dragon Mother’s murmurs, Dilara’s expression darkened. She knew that among the humanoids living on the surface, whiteness was considered beautiful.

“You’re Dilara?” After her murmur, the Golden Dragon Mother asked the Elf Queen.

“Indeed the great Queen Dilara,” agreed the elf elders who had pledged their loyalty to Dilara through force. They appeared one after another behind her.

Beneath the royal city, the army of Zor elves was mobilizing. Spider-shaped Zor elves were leaping across the beautifully designed houses. One by one, Zor elves armed with curved swords levitated into the air. Countless strong bows and crossbows were drawn, aimed at the Golden Dragon Mother in mid-air, ready to fire upon their queen’s command.

“What do you want from me?” Looking at her city quickly assuming a defensive stance, Dilara asked the Golden Dragon Mother for the third time, her face clouded with fury.

Had it been any other legend who dared to run into her territory and act so arrogantly, Dilara would have immediately ordered an attack. But before her was a renowned Golden Dragon, which greatly alarmed Dilara. At this stage, she didn’t want trouble, she wished to conserve strength to vie for the Semi Plane in the near future.

“Did you not hear me?” The Golden Dragon Mother Atris asked in feigned surprise, looking at the Zor Queen Dilara, “I told you to take a beating.”

“I see!” Dilara narrowed her eyes slightly, lifted her palm, ready to strike.

“Dilara, don’t get worked up. It’s not me who’s come to beat you, but I did bring them here.” The Golden Dragon Mother responded with a chuckle, her tone casual and nonchalant.

“Kill her!” Dilara paid no heed to the Golden Dragon Mother and ordered the attack. Since the other side was now confirmed as an enemy, why bother listening to her nonsense? She decided to kill her first and then deal with the rest.

“So decisive! A fitting quality for a founding queen who can unite dozens of Zor clans,” the Golden Dragon Mother said with an unaffected smile, lightly tapping her magic staff. An awe-inspiring illusory figure of the Golden Giant Dragon appeared, enveloping her entirely.

Protection of the Dragon King Dimos!

This was a defensive spell created by the Golden Dragon Mother Atris particularly after her father Dimos ascended to the rank of Dragon King. The principle was simple, to use the connection between their bloodlines to draw upon her father’s power for offense or defense.

However, before activating this bloodline spell, it would determine whether Dimos was engaged in battle. If so, the spell casting was canceled.

Otherwise, if Dimos was involved in an evenly matched battle and the Golden Dragon Mother suddenly borrowed his power, wouldn’t that be sabotaging him? Dimos would never refuse to lend his power to his daughter.

The golden figure of the Dragon King enveloped Golden Dragon Mother, fending off all attacks and saving her from any injuries. However, after blocking this barrage of collective attack from all Zor elves, Dimos’s figure shattered instantly.

After all, Dimos was no longer in Erathia World and the distance was quite far. The fact that the borrowed powers could withstand one round of attack was already quite impressive and it adequately demonstrated the mighty power of the Dragon King. It was an attack jointly launched by nine legends and hundreds of thousands of Zor elves, after all.

Although the defense was shattered, it won ample time for the Golden Dragon Mother. The instant the figure of the Dragon King shattered, countless space gates resembling whirlpools appeared throughout the sky. Each filled with a Storm Giant riding a Giant Peng, a graceful-looking giant dragon… This spectacle lured every Zor elf’s line of sight within an instant, filling them with an overwhelming sense of oppression.

“Your Majesty, Atris, the spatial blockade is completed!”
