King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 428 - 428 423

Chapter 428: 423 Chapter 428: 423 “Boring!” Ansol said expressionlessly as the evil spirit light released by the Balrog Flame Demon swept over him. “Are you ready, then?”

“Certainly!” The Balrog Flame Demon roared in Demonic Language, appearing instantly in front of Ansol with an advanced teleportation technique. The demon brandished its flame whip and brought down its beheading sword, enveloped in demonic flames.

“Clang!” Without any movement to evade, Ansol raised his hand to catch the Balrog Flame Demon’s beheading sword. Sparks burst forth like a spring as the armor on his palm rubbed against the blade of the beheading sword.

“Snap!” The flaming whip, made of condensed fire, struck Ansol. It made a humming sound like a ringing bell, accompanied by the gold patterns on the black armor of the Titan flashing by, causing half of the fiery whip in the Balrog Flame Demon’s hand to shatter into countless sparks in the air.

“Legendary armor!” Upon seeing his attack so easily blocked, the Balrog Flame Demon turned shocked, then frustrated.

The demon just arrived in the material world, but before it could do anything, a Titan had set its sights on it. Such creatures, rarer than deities, had to cross its path. Talk about bad luck.

Moreover, this Titan had a legendary armor. The demon couldn’t even land a hit and had been contemplating an escape, but now it found itself utterly trapped. Its attacks had no effect on the Titan. How could it possibly escape?

“So feeble.” While the Balrog Flame Demon was stunned by the ineffectiveness of its attack, Ansol gripped the beheading sword with one hand, yanking forward. The hulky body of the Balrog Flame Demon immediately lurched towards him.

Without showing any mercy, Ansol swung his other fist, clenched tightly. Golden thunder flashed upon it, and with a furious wind, his fist landed squarely on the Balrog Flame Demon’s face.

“Crack!” The terrifying sound of bone breaking and flesh tearing echoed out. Hot blood, akin to magma, sprayed out, mixed with bits of bone gleaming with a metallic sheen.

“Boom!” A visible shockwave emerged, and the Balrog Flame Demon was sent flying by Ansol’s punch, carving out three deep gullies in the ground with its backwards-bent hoofs and thick tail.

“Roar!” Accompanied by muffled screams, the Balrog Flame Demon hit numerous trees before crashing into a hill over a hundred meters tall and burying itself into it.

Seeing the hapless state of the Balrog Flame Demon, Ansol became even more disappointed. With a light step, his sturdy and formidable body vanished on the spot, leaving a slowly dissipating shadow in its wake.

“Rumble!” A more intense explosion sounded as Ansol plunged into the crater made by the Balrog Flame Demon. He landed another punch right on its chest. The thunder swirling around his fist left scorch marks on the demon’s chest, unleashing a horrifying force upon it.

The hill where the Balrog Flame Demon was buried exploded, scattering earth, stone, and fragments of branches and leaves across the sky. Again, the Balrog Flame Demon was sent flying, crashing into another mountain and becoming half buried in it.

“Wait,” the Balrog Flame Demon quickly shouted as the Titan was preparing for another attack. “First, call a halt. It doesn’t hurt to try. If it really stops, I’ll have time to recover.”

“What else would you like to say?” Ansol asked, his expression cold as he observed the Balrog Flame Demon with its collapsed head and sunken chest.

At a speed visible to the naked eye, its flesh and bones were rapidly regenerating. Ansol knew it was trying to prolong time to recover, but he allowed it to continue.

He was not concerned. A demon of this level posed no threat to him. If he could cripple this waste of a demon once, he could easily do it again.

On the contrary, Ansol was keen for the demon to try its best to maintain its optimal state. The more the demon attempted to defend itself, the more fun the battle was for him.

“Do you dare to take off your armor and fight me?” The Balrog Flame Demon, clinging onto a sliver of hope, tried to provoke Ansol. Even though legends could easily ignore such provocations, it wouldn’t hurt to try.

“As you wish.” After a brief pause, Ansol removed his armor, revealing his battle robe. He thought that it would be overkill to be wearing legendary armor when dealing with a weakling like the Balrog Flame Demon.

” Even if I die in battle, I will leave a scar on you.” The Balrog Flame Demon, knowing it had sealed its fate, was prepared to fight to the death.

As soon as its words ended, the demon lunged at Ansol, wielding its Beheading Sword towards Titan’s head. But instead of using its Flaming Whip with its other hand, it used its ability to summon demons.

Or more aptly, summoned cannon fodder! Cowardly Demons, Berserk Demons, Judge Demons, Temptation Demons, and even a Six-armed Serpent Demon all heeded the Balrog Flame Demon’s summon and came flooding out from behind it.

“What’s the point?” Ansol didn’t take the strike head-on this time. He avoided the sharp edge of the sword and threw three punches rapidly. Two of them landed on the Beheading Sword, almost making the Balrog Flame Demon lose grip of the sword. The final punch sunk deep into its newly healed chest.

“Splutter!” The demon’s corrupt blood splattered everywhere, corroding the ground underneath. However, before Ansol could land another blow, the demon used its advanced teleportation technique to escape his attack.

“All of you, attack!” In the distance, the bleeding Balrog Flame Demon forcefully commanded the summoned demons to attack Ansol, hoping they could consume Ansol’s combat power, or at the very least, distract him.

“Hmph!” Ansol looked towards the approaching horde of demons with disdain. A golden wave of dominant thunder and a hurricane spread around him.

Intense shrieks echoed out, but they quickly died out as the cannon fodder became charred with his Golden Thunder, followed by numerous Windblades that sliced them into fragments even smaller than a finger.

“Futile jabbing and resistance.” Ansol stretched his hand out, a radiant thunder condensing into eighteen long spears beside him which were rapidly shot towards the Balrog Flame Demon squirming around using its advanced teleportation technique.

“Why can’t I teleport out of here? What are you all doing?”

“As I said before, don’t rely on luck. The best ending for you today is to die in this battle. There is no other outcome. I have sealed off the surrounding space,”
