Chapter 423 - 423 418 Atriss Regret

Chapter 423: Chapter 418: Atris’s Regret Chapter 423: Chapter 418: Atris’s Regret “But, when you were ransacking my treasure vault, why didn’t you have this kind of understanding or your so-called bottom line? You wouldn’t even accept the treasures others handed to you.

You plundered the treasures I had painstakingly accumulated over hundreds of years, all protected by a Legendary Array, but you took them all. You’re playing double standards, aren’t you!”

Dragon Mother Atreus cast an annoyed glance at Mureya, still finding it hard to forget her frustration when Mureya raided her treasure vault. She vividly remembered the moment he waltzed right in.

“Hehe, that’s different,” Mureya forced a laugh. “You’re my mother. How can we use words like plunder and theft for me taking your things?”

“Hmmm.” Dragon Mother Atreus was about to say something when she remembered she had done similar things to her father, Dimos. Like mother, like son – her son was following in her footsteps. She wondered if her father had done such things when he was young.

“Prince Mureya, Archmage Atris, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave now.” The awkward silence made Ancient Golden Dragon Basde more uncomfortable, causing him to bid farewell to the pair.

“Why do you refer to him as His Majesty?” Dragon Mother Atreus asked discontentedly. She was bothered by her son’s title being more prestigious than hers.

“Because he carries the Dragon King bloodline. If anything, you should be calling me His Majesty. I am the direct descendant of the Dragon King, while he is merely a generation removed. If it weren’t for me, he wouldn’t even be able to transform into a dragon.”

“Err.” Basde was a bit helpless. He wasn’t a fool and could see that there were conflicts between the mother and son. He quickly took this opportunity to escape. “You both, I beg leave for now.”

After saying this, he did not bother with their reactions and quickly disappeared.

“Basde must be many times your age, almost a thousand-year-old ancient dragon. You should treat him respect.”

“Aside from age, in terms of strength, bloodline, or wisdom, I am superior in every aspect. Even so, I’ve always conversed with him as an equal. How am I being disrespectful?”

“…I have state affairs to attend to.” Mureya walked over to his desk and sat down, continuing his official documents review.

“Are you trying to kick me out?” Dragon Mother Atreus knew exactly what Mureya was implying from his words. “Don’t you want the semi-plane anymore?”

“Would you really give it to me?” Mureya’s hand froze. The semi-plane was very attracting to him as it could only be established with magic in the void by Legendary Mages, or by beings exist on the level of Divine Epics.

“When have I ever refused?” Dragon Mother Atreus countered. Then she shared some tantalizing information with Mureya,

“Oh, there’s something else you should know. A newly formed semi-plane, if there is a suitable arcane ritual, can be merged with others to form a single semi-plane.”

“Mother, do you have a place to stay? If not, you are welcome to stay here temporarily.” Mureya put down his pen and looked up with an eager smile on his face.

“I haven’t reached the point of being too proud to disdain staying in the palace of a human kingdom.”

“Mia,” Mureya rang a bell as he called for his personal maid.

“Archmage Atris.” When the golden-haired girl with subtle dragon scales on her face walked in and saw Dragon Mother Atreus, she respectfully greeted her.

At first, she served Dragon Mother Atreus. Later, after spending a night with Mureya, she started following him. This was the second luckiest thing that had ever happened to her. The first was when she, an ordinary girl, fortuitously met Dragon Mother Atreus, who changed her into a Dragonkin.

“Mia, prepare one of the best palaces, arrange for my mother to stay. The maids, the guards, they must all be the best.”

“Yes, sir!”

“Mureya!” Mia was called by Mureya and another adorable person came as well. As soon as she saw Mureya, she immediately cheered and rushed toward him.

“Yingdila, why are you here? Weren’t you supposed to be playing with Remilia?” Mureya held the young Loli who flew into his arms, ignoring Dragon Mother Atreus’ surprised gaze, and asked softly.

Yingdila, who came from the void, is no different from any other little girl before using her supreme devouring talent and weird transformation talents, well, at least relative to Mureya and the current Remilia.

“Today, I defeated Remilia. She is now running back to her room crying.” Yingdila sniffed, saying triumphantly, “Then I just saw Mia coming to find you, so I followed.”

“Hmm.” Mureya nodded. Ever since these two little Lolies recognized each other, they almost have a fight every day. The wins and losses were about equal, alternating every day.

The two aren’t capable of killing each other, and both of them have powerful regenerative abilities. Their way of determining victory is simple: whoever causes the opponent to bleed first wins.

“Is she your daughter?” Dragon Mother Atreus asked, looking at Mureya and Yingdila interacting like siblings. Yingdila’s appearance truly satisfied her liking.

“What do you think!” Hearing Dragon Mother Atreus’ intentionally provocative question, Mureya rolled his eyes. Anyone familiar with Mureya’s aura would sense the difference between him and Yingdila.

Mureya was like a radiant sun in the sky, emitting endless light and heat, majestic and vast. Yingdila, on the other hand, was like a void vortex that devoured everything, swallowing everything and making people shudder.

“When did you give birth?” Dragon Mother Atreus asked, smiling, “Why didn’t you let me know?”

“She was hatched from the Egg of Void given by my grandfather.” Mureya said irritably. Yingdila’s current form was much related to the Dragon Mother Atreus, “You should have seen her.”

“So, it’s that little thing. I thought it was familiar.” Dragon Mother Atreus appeared thoughtful. “When I first saw that egg, I was curious and touched it a couple of times. I found that it wanted to devour my power, so I fed it some.”

“So, Yingdila is now a girl. If you hadn’t interacted with her, she would probably be a boy, like me.” Mureya explained. According to Yingdila’s natural evaluation, Dragon Mother Atreus is much stronger than Mureya, so she used Dragon Mother Atreus as a template to construct herself. However, Mureya’s influence on her was also significant, hence her current form.

“Girls are better, just right to make up for my regret back then.” The Dragon Mother Atreus bent down, forcefully taking Yingdila from Mureya’s arms, “Your hatching was quite disappointing to me.”
