Chapter 383 - 383 378 Three Unknowns to One Question
Chapter 383: Chapter 378: Three Unknowns to One Question Chapter 383: Chapter 378: Three Unknowns to One Question The cold metallic sensation transmitted to Muria’s fingertips felt as if he were touching legendary metal, a curious sensation. Despite it being the beak of a bird, the texture bore a striking resemblance to the legendary metal.
One could image the horrendous damage inflicted upon an enemy when engaged in close combat with the Wind King Hawk, their bodies subjected to pecks from its beak.
“Hm!” A few moments after Muria had touched the beak of the mountain-sized Wind King Hawk, he felt something, slightly turning his head to find, with some astonishment, that the pure white-feathered creature had opened its eyes. Its bright yellow eyes were looking at him indifferently.
“Heh, heh!” Caught under the gaze of the Wind King Hawk, Muria coyly stepped back, not quite thick-skinned enough to keep touching it.
“Whoosh!” With the awakening of the Wind King Hawk, the wind barrier surrounding all Cloud Island, along with the one protecting its sleep, suddenly collapsed, scattering into a furious wind that blew in all directions.
The radiant sunlight fell unobstructed on the rough sea, caused by the furious wind, in the sky ten thousands of miles around the Cloud Island, from which all clouds were swept away.
The Wind King Hawk, which caused a storm and set off waves within a radius of ten thousand miles just by waking up, ignored Muria and the other seven ancient dragons after opening its eyes and simply lay there quietly, making no other movements.
Such behavior gave Muria a strange sense of déjà vu. After half an hour, when the Wind King Hawk slowly and lazily stood up, even flapping its wings to stir up a hurricane, Muria’s sense of familiarity became even stronger.
After pondering for a moment, Muria finally figured out where this familiar feeling came from. Wasn’t he just like that when he woke up on a Sunday in his past life? After waking up, first lay with eyes open for a while, and then slowly get up when one didn’t want to lie anymore.
Although its size and form were vastly different, the actual movements were quite similar. Thus, to Muria’s eyes, this Wind King Hawk, covered in white feathers, as elegant as a phoenix, and boasting long plume feathers, became rather cute.
In fact, when he first saw the Wind King Hawk, Muria thought of the phoenix on the Titan Islands and the Blue Sky Roc, who enjoyed playing tricks on the Five Colored Dragons.
He saw the noble, elegant, holy and beautiful aura of a phoenix, and the aloof, domineering, and unrivalled demeanor of the Blue Sky Roc in the Wind King Hawk. Especially after it woke and stood up, those qualities became even more pronounced.
The resurrected Wind King Hawk, standing over two hundred meters tall, towering like a mountain range, was far larger than an adult Titan, though its size was not as massive as the Land Emperor Turtle. By Muria’s estimate, only a Titan at the legendary peak could match it.
“Dragon!” The Wind King Hawk observed the seven ancient dragons for a few moments, these moments alone exuding enough pressure to cause the ancient dragons to unable to maintain their human form, forcing them to revert to their draconic basics.
But after the ancient dragons reverted to their true forms, the Wind King Hawk turned away, seemingly too lazy to look at them. Then its gaze stayed on Muria, whose human form was much smaller.
“Dragon King?” The Wind King Hawk stared at Muria for a few moments before uttering two words with a doubtful tone. But soon, it confirmed Muria’s identity, proving its own profound strength.
“Titan!”
“No wonder it’s the Wind King Hawk, such a keen eye.” Upon hearing what the Wind King Hawk had said, Muria sighed helplessly. So far, only the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut had seen through his identity, all other beings, even the legendary dragons, couldn’t sense the hidden Titan lineage within him.
“Why don’t you reveal your true form? Why disguise yourself in such a tiny form?” The Wind King Hawk stared at Muria, the tone of its voice somewhat displeased.
“Sorry, it’s because of the needs of my current identity.” Muria’s golden thunder erupted and a gushing wind swept across him as he released the Titan form from the human transformation art.
The Titan standing before the Wind King Hawk exuded an aura that was not inferior to the Wind King Hawk. But such a transformation startled the ancient dragons that had reverted to their true forms, their eyes nearly popping out.
“How can this be? He’s a Titan?”
“This is not a transformation spell.”
Hearing the shocked voices of the dragons behind him, Muria turned around and gave them an apologetic smile: “I’m not a pure Golden Dragon, but a hybrid with Titan and Golden Dragon lineage. I didn’t want to reveal this because I was afraid you might have other ideas.”
“Prince Mureya, you were able to find us thanks to the ability granted by the Dragon God. If Bahamut recognizes your identity, we have nothing to say.”
“I’m overthinking.” Muria smiled a little embarrassed. Approaching ancient dragons for help was much easier as a pure Golden Dragon. Any attempt as a hybrid would always be somewhat worse off.
Muria indeed did not expect that the Titan lineage he had hidden would be recognized by the Wind King Hawk. But now that it had been recognized, it was best to honestly admit it.
“Hybrid Titan, why did you bring a group of ancient dragons to disturb my sleep?” The Wind King Hawk asked in a domineering manner, looking down at Muria’s “small” stature after he had finished explaining to the ancient dragons.
“Your nest on Cloud Island has been moving toward my territory, so that’s why I’m here. What do you want to do in my territory?” Muria looked up at the Wind King Hawk and asked the question he wanted to know most.
“My nest is moving toward your territory?” The Wind King Hawk looks confused. It quickly shook its head in resignation, “I don’t know, but something must appear in your territory that could harm the world, hence this happening.”
Muria and the Ancient Golden Dragon Basde exchanged a glance. Their suspicions were correct – the appearance of the Wind King Hawk here was no good sign. So, Mureia asked again, what is that existence?
“That is a question for you, I don’t know,” the Wind King Hawk shook its head, then added, “I was in deep sleep, unconscious until now. If it wasn’t for your arrival, waking me up, I should still be sleeping.”
“I have no idea that there is an existence in my territory that can harm the world!” Muria looked up at the sky, slightly squinting his eyes. The World Will is a real existence, but according to speculation, it would not have subjective consciousness.
“Sir Wind King Hawk, do you currently have any special messages or abnormal feelings?” Ancient Golden Dragon Basde suddenly spoke out.
