King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 354 - 354 349 The Dragon of Judgment and Trial
Chapter 354: Chapter 349: The Dragon of Judgment and Trial Chapter 354: Chapter 349: The Dragon of Judgment and Trial Everything had come to an end. With absolute power in his kingdom, the King of Aminis severed all connections, leaving Muria unable to continue his investigations.
The cleaning up of the human trafficking chain could only come to a halt. Then the king stubbornly sent a messenger to inform Muria: his mission had been accomplished and he should leave immediately. The rest was to be handled by the King himself and had nothing to do with the Dragon Race.
Reluctantly, Muria had no choice but to give up. After all, he had already pushed his abilities to their limit.
Thus, Muria dismissed the righteous warriors from all over the continent and set off three metallic ancient dragons.
After that, he continued his journey to the Vimier Elf Forest. Throughout the journey, he met with little resistance or trouble.
His battle with the legendary duke from the kingdom of Aminis led to Muria’s rise to fame across the whole subcontinent. Muria had confronted legendary powers with his own Soul Intent.
In the eyes of most intelligent creatures, a legend was a legend. Unlike Muria who saw through its depth, they did not see the same evaluation. As a result, he became famous throughout the subcontinent.
Although he was far from being universally known, it would only be a matter of time to reach such a level.
Now, in the subcontinent of Osroni, countless minstrels are taking the deeds of Muria in the Aminis Kingdom as material, compiling them into stories and spreading them in taverns and markets.
By exposing a sinful human trafficking chain for a meager reward of thirty-eight coppers, he mercilessly slaughtered the great nobles involved in the trade.
Such achievements were just what the low-level intelligent creatures loved to hear. Each ordinary human who heard of Muria’s deeds wholeheartedly supported, and even admired him.
Who would not like someone willing to wield a slaughter knife against nobles for the sake of common folks and justice?
As Muria became famous on the Osroni subcontinent, all his previous deeds were brought to light one by one, and under the praise of many intelligent creatures, following his first title, ‘The Patron of Justice’, Muria was granted his second title:
The Dragon of Judgment and Trial!
…
“Lord Dragon of Judgment and Trial, welcome to the Vimier Elf Kingdom.” In front of the endless ancient forest, a Silvermoon Elf maiden riding a unicorn looked at the figure ahead of her, Muria, with undisguised reverence and admiration.
“There’s no need for this.” Muria looked at the solemn tree people honor parade and the cheerful little elf etiquette teams behind the elf maiden, as well as the nearly ten thousand elves that had come to welcome him. He shook his head helplessly.
Above his head, squadrons of Pegasus Knights in gorgeous light armor circulated in the sky. Around him, over a hundred Moonshadow Panther Elf Knights served as his guards.
This was the treatment Muria was enjoying now. When the Vimier Elf Kingdom learned that the renowned Dragon of Judgment and Trial, Muria, was coming to their kingdom, the Elf Queen of Vimier immediately issued an order to welcome Muria with the etiquette of welcoming a legendary ancient dragon.
The Metallic Dragon Clan, and especially the gold and silver dragons, were natural allies with the elves. Regardless of which side it was, they would usually come to aid the other without asking for reasons when they saw the latter was in trouble.
Just like Muria had experienced before, when he was besieged by the nobles of the Aminis Kingdom, faraway elven rangers came to his aid without asking for anything in return.
Therefore, the Elf Queen Yalrod Danasenna of the Vimier Elf Kingdom held the rising star of the Golden Dragon Clan, Muria, in high regard.
Before Muria even arrived at the Elf Kingdom, nearly ten thousand Moonshadow Panther Elf Knights were dispatched from the entrances of various elf cities to meet him in a dragnet style, before providing an escort.
Due to uncertainty regarding Muria’s whereabouts, they had no choice but to make such a decision. Once the Moonshadow Panther Elf Knights encountered Muria, they could discern which city he would enter the Elf Kingdom from, based on his direction of travel.
Then, immediately, they would notify the elf princess who was already prepared with her honorary parade, and transport them to the city that Muria was about to arrive in to prepare for the reception.
“This is simply fitting.” Upon hearing Muria’s modest retiring, the young Silvermoon Princess’ gaze towards Muria softened even more.
According to the bards, Muria behaved exactly as the underage Silvermoon elf had always imagined a hero would behave. After meeting him, Muria’s manners and speech did not fall short of the legendary descriptions.
The only part which left the elf princess unsatisfied was Muria’s appearance and state, which did not correspond with the description in the tales.
According to the bards, the dragon of judgment and justice was a majestic golden giant dragon. Even when transforming into human form, he was supposed to be a dashing, valiant, and splendid youth.
However, standing in front of them was a child no older than thirteen or fourteen, who was even shorter than she was. Furthermore, his state was one of drowsiness, lethargy, and an overall lack of spirit.
Even if Muria did not exactly match the description in the stories, the welcoming elf princess would not deny his identity. This was because the occasional faint and terrifying aura emanating from this golden dragon, who had already become a legend, was proof enough to determine his authenticity.
Feeling the continuous growth of Muria’s power because he had swallowed the hearts of three elemental lords and was now struggling to control his aura, the elf princess was convinced that this was the power that could rival that of legends.
“Lord Muria, are you injured?” The state Muria was in worried the elf princess, who by now harbored deep admiration for him. She asked, concern etched into her features.
In fact, the elves basically all assumed that the reason for Muria’s visit was that he had been injured and had come to their Elf Kingdom to seek treatment. After all, it would be understandable if he, being a soul entity, sustained injuries while contending against legends that were challenging to recover from.
It should be known that what made the elves famous throughout the world were indeed their beauty and the versatile Tree of Life.
“Injured?” Muria froze for a moment. Already accustomed to thinking while in a state of drowsiness, he realized the elves had misunderstood something and thus clarified his purpose of visit.
“I am here in the Vimier Elf Kingdom to meet Elf Queen Yalrod and to borrow the long-distance teleportation array to travel via Nocchio Subcontinent.”
“You want to leave Osroni?” Hearing the purpose of Muria, the elf princess exclaimed in astonishment. Her voice conveyed her surprise and regret.
“That’s right!”
… Subsequently, Muria had a very smooth meeting with the monarch of the Vimier Kingdom, Elf Queen Yalrod Danasenna. After he stated his request to pass through to the Nocchio Subcontinent, Queen Yalrod agreed without making any demands.
