King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 348 - 348 343 Unbearable Nobles
Chapter 348: Chapter 343: Unbearable Nobles Chapter 348: Chapter 343: Unbearable Nobles Seeing these human nobles who, like peacocks in courtship, were attempting to display their finest qualities, Muria found it interesting, just as Troy had suggested.
Humans are shallow creatures, often basing their judgment on what they perceive with their eyes.
If all these Five Colored Dragons under Muria’s control, now transformed into handsome men and beautiful women, were to show their true form, these human nobles would definitely be terrified, let alone in their current state, behaving like peacocks in heat.
“Hm?” Muria furrowed her brows slightly. Surrounded by young human noblewomen were the Adolescent Dragons, who had long possessed the capabilities for biological reproduction.
Therefore, they were all quite handsy, showing no manners whatsoever, and the noble young ladies, despite being taken advantage of, did not seem to be bothered. Instead, they appeared to be giggling and enjoying it.
However, amongst these masculine Giant Dragons displaying their true Nature, Red Dragon Auston seemed to stand out from his kind. The human noble girls swirling around him were the most but he was indeed the most modest, barely touching these human females and behaving exceptionally well.
Most importantly, he appeared extremely annoyed- had it not been for Muria’s decree restraining them from causing trouble in the human city, he would have probably exploded by now.
When Muria called his name after concluding the trades with the goblin merchant, Auston, as if relieved from trouble, quickly introduced the human nobles to Muria in an extremely simple and crude manner. He then asked Muria anxiously:
“Muria, when are we leaving here?”
“Now.” Muria showed a mischievous smile on her face, waved her hand, and collected all the Five Colored Dragons into the Semi Plane, leaving no room for their struggle or resistance. A group of Gold Level dragons, in her hands, could do nothing to rebel.
“Can we wait a moment?” “No.” As Muria raised her hand, the Five Colored Dragons screamed in fright. They were unwilling to go back since some human females were initiating contact with them, hoping to take the interaction further. But sadly, Muria didn’t pay any heed to them.
The watching nobles witnessed a young man with black hair and golden pupils, who they hadn’t noticed before, appear suddenly. With a wave of his hand, he collected the nobles who had been currying favor with them and left a red haired, youth in red armor. Then, he cast a “friendly” smile at them.
Roar! A furious wind was stirred, and a dragon roar echoed in the skies. As per Muria’s mischief, Auston took off to the sky, transformed back into a 30-plus-meter-long Red Dragon body, and gave out a long roar.
Muria, stepping onto the dragon horn on Auston’s head and standing atop this Red Dragon whose stature was starting to recover, took off to the skies, leaving behind shocked nobles and some commoners in the city, who were forced to their knees by the Dragon Prestige.
Since Auston, upon revealing his true form, immediately left the city with Muria, they didn’t cause much chaos in the city besides startling some people.
Besides the commoners who collapsed under the Dragon Prestige in the city, the ones suffering the most damages were the human nobles who had just been lavishing praise on the Five Colored Dragons — their minds were traumatized.
When Auston transformed back into his Red Dragon form, some nobles became weak from fear, paralyzed on the ground.
“Those fellows just now, they’re not humans, and definitely not nobles.” After Muria left on top of Auston, a nobleman with a pale face finally spoke.
“We didn’t need you to tell us, we all saw,”
“Were we just now trying to please a bunch of evil dragons that might eat us up anytime?” a noble maiden with a pale face asked. She had just attempted to hook up with Auston and was now trembling uncontrollably.“The boy with black hair riding the Red Dragon, I think I’ve heard of him.” Stories about Muria had already spread in this subcontinent. As he made his appearance, some nobles started to link his characteristics with those in the stories.
Of course, those who could still talk were the more composed nobles. Still, some nobles appeared dazed, weak at their limbs, looking as if they had been scared silly.
The most pitiful ones were nobles with a pool of stinking fluid slowly appearing beneath them. Realizing how close they had been to death, this was their reaction. Compared to the nobles who had started laughing, they contrasted sharply in two distinctly different groups.
…
“I hope those nobles weren’t too terrified by me.” Muria, already in the clouds, revealed a mischievous smile on her face. She then began to deal with her gains from her trade with Planar Merchant Stalon.
Muria took out the legendary metals she had received from her trade and then summoned her Exclusive Weapons. As she silently watched the Nine Divine Weapons, the Divine Chains formed of Ancient Divine Text that emanated from them attached themselves to the legendary metals, absorbing their essence, and fueling their own enhancement.
In no time, the legendary metals were completely devoured by the Nine Divine Weapons, leaving no residue. Given the small quantity that would have only suffice to forge a few weapons for humans, it was barely any substance for Muria’s Exclusive Weapons.
“The goblin didn’t cheat me, these legendary metals are genuine.” Upon seeing her Nine Exclusive Weapons consume the treasures that were rarely seen even among legends, Muria felt her uneasy heart finally settle down.
For fear of being conned by the goblin whom she couldn’t see through, Muria had been worried that she might have bought counterfeit goods. But now, based on the feedback from her Exclusive Weapons, there were no issues with these legendary metals.
“Next, it’s your turn, Book of Mourning.” Muria took out a large metal book from her Space Ring.
However, as soon as it appeared, as if having lost some sort of restraint, the Cursed Book began to exhibit its uniqueness. A visible black smoke spread from the book, becoming gradually dense. Whispers of the spirits and the mourning of the gods faintly echoed in Muria’s ears.
“So eager, aren’t you!” Muria’s expression did not change as she watched this unfolding spectacle. She had expected this. A wicked book that included her original owner and had at least claimed 12 legends’ lives; it was simply impossible for it to remain as quiet as when they had traded, it was bound to have some unique characteristics.
“Cackling!” A defiant laughter radiated from the Cursed Book, the black smoke that almost enveloped the book swirled, forming a Demonic Shadow with sharp horns on its head and wings on its back. The shadow twisted and turned while its vengeful eyes were locked onto Muria.
