King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 292 - 292 287 Dragon Devouring
Chapter 292: Chapter 287: Dragon Devouring Chapter 292: Chapter 287: Dragon Devouring This kind of wing that could soar in the sky was not something the Fang Dragons, a subspecies of dragons, should possess.
Hence, “Which of you will go up and capture these three dragons for me?” Muria looked at the sky and asked plainly, “I want to study to what degree these three Fang Dragons have mutated.”
As soon as Muria’s words fell, a resounding dragon’s roar echoed, and Otlis transformed directly back into his true form of a red dragon in his late years, nearly a hundred meters long. With a flap of his wings that stirred up a furious wind, he soared into the sky, charging towards the three mutated Fang Dragons in the sky.
“Click!” This was the sound of Red Dragon Otlis shattering the Spiritual Light Shield. Otlis, being an obstinate Red Dragon, had no intention of evading or waiting. He charged straight into the shield.
“Run!” Up in the sky, the three mutated Fang Dragons, who had struggled hard to even break the shield, were terrified when the shield was shattered by the suddenly appeared Red Dragon below. Their wings thrashed as they tried to escape, not interested in communicating with Otlis.
They didn’t believe for a second that this raging Red Dragon had come to chat with them. Whoever looked at him could tell he meant no good.
But the three Fang Dragons, who had barely advanced to the Soul-level, had just fled a short distance when they found a Soul-level Green Dragon blocking their path, leaving them no chance to escape.
“I’ll show you how to run.” The eager Red Dragon Ait Laien saw that he, as the first one to charge out, had achieved no results, whereas each of the three Soul-level Green Dragons had blocked a Fang Dragon each. It made his fiery eyes spit fire in anger.
Otlis extended his powerful dragon claw and grabbed for a Fang Dragon blocked by the Green Dragon.
“Lord Crimson Wing, this one’s mine,” the Green Dragon courageously opened his mouth, seeing the Fang Dragon he had blocked being snatched away. The very old Green Dragon Fiona was next to him, giving him the courage to talk to this aging Red Dragon, who could enter into the ranks of legend at any moment.
“What is this business of yours and mine. We all serve Prince Mureya, why are we dividing things so clearly?” Already disregarding the Fang Dragon’s struggle, the Red Dragon who had caught its neck chuckled.
“Rip!” Hot crimson blood sprayed out, as Red Dragon Otlis tore off one side of the wing of the Fang Dragon under his claw. The shriek of misery echoed throughout the city.
…On the ground, humans standing on the city walls defended against the surge of monsters, while anxiously observing the battle in the sky, their faces somewhat bewildered. A sight that contradicted their understanding was unfolding before their eyes.
A suffocatingly powerful Red Dragon and three Green Dragons were beating up the three Fang Dragons who were about to break into their city. What was going on? Why were these Five Colored Dragons helping them? This didn’t make sense.
Ignoring the humans who looked shocked and panic-stricken due to their appearance, the Red Dragon and Green Dragons teamed up. Four Soul-level Giant Dragons cooperated to slaughter the three mutated Fang Dragons in the sky.
Every now and then shattered pieces of bone armor, scorching black-red blood with strong corrosive properties, and vividly writhing flesh with intense life vitality, fell from the sky.
“Lord Muria, mission accomplished.” In less than ten minutes, Fiona brought the mutated Fang Dragon, restrained by a Magic Lock Chain, in front of Muria.
“Excellent.” Looking at the mostly undamaged Fang Dragon and the Green Dragon Fiona in front of him, being gigantic like a mountain, Muria nodded in satisfaction.
“Your Majesty, I’ve caught one too.” With a booming crash, the Red Dragon Otlis landed on the ground, his weight causing the ground beneath him to sink, bringing up clouds of dust.
“…” Muria silently observed the lump of bright red flesh placed before him by the Red Dragon, which hardly resembled a dragon anymore. It was a Mutated Fang Dragon, only it had been stripped of all its bone plate armor and some of its flesh.
“Have you developed a habit of scaling and skinning?” Looking at the still breathing but extremely pained Mutated Fang Dragon, Muria turned towards the Red Dragon, somewhat helpless. This creature had awakened a very un-dragon-like interest.
The Red Dragon silently bowed its head without a word, realizing that Muria did not approve of its behavior.
“Your Majesty!” The other two Soul-level Green Dragons also placed a half-wrecked Mutated Fang Dragon before him.
Behind Muria, a group of priests looked on in shock at the scene before them. They hadn’t expected Muria’s Five Colored Dragons to be so powerful that they resolved the city’s crisis at their first blow.
The sight made the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop’s face betray a look of embarrassment. Considering that Muria was even more powerful than his subordinates, the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop Sukada, realizing that he had underestimated Muria, moved over to his side, about to say something. But Muria raised his hand, silencing him.
Muria didn’t pay the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop any attention, briefly glanced at the three fang dragons on the ground, sniffed, inhaling the scent of blood in the air, and his face broke into a smile, “It’s the stench of that demon from the Abyss, no doubt.”
“Golden Dragon Lord,” said the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop, watching Muria’s smile with trepidation. He couldn’t figure out why Muria was smiling.
“Tell me where that unusual tooth dragon is. I’ll take care of it now.” Muria turned back to look at the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop. His smile remained on his face. A mutant dragon that had fused with a high-level demonic bloodline and devoured millions of human souls, how powerful could it be? He was quite interested in fighting it now.
“We don’t know its current location,” said the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop, somewhat embarrassed. Seeing the frown on Muria’s face, Sukada quickly added, “But we do know the location of the Pale Bloodhav Nest. However, it spends most of its time not in the nest, but out slaughtering.”
“That’s enough, tell me.”
“My Lord, please don’t be careless.” Archbishop Sukada bowed his head and shared a piece of news that surprised and then angered Red Dragon Otlis, “A year ago, when the Pale Blood Devourer was still at the Soul-intent Third Tier, it had a conflict with an adult Red Dragon. But the battle didn’t last ten minutes before the Pale Blood Devourer used a taboo secret art similar to Soul Burning, instantly defeating the Red Dragon and tearing its body apart.”
“Did that Red Dragon die?” Red Dragon Krest asked curiously.
“No, but the majority of the Red Dragon’s body was torn off and eaten by the Pale Blood Devourer. Only the dragon head and a small part of the body remained and managed to escape.”
“Waste!” Hearing of the tragic experience of one of their own kind, neither Klaeste nor Otlis showed a bit of compassion, but only faces of contempt.
“Eating the body of a Red Dragon.” Muria’s face revealed a look of disgust. Cannibalism was disgusting no matter where it occurred.
