King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 287 - 287 282 Education

Chapter 287: Chapter 282: Education Chapter 287: Chapter 282: Education Inside a grand and majestic temple, Troy, shrunk to the size of an ordinary tiger, looked disdainfully at the twelve timid juvenile dragons in front of him. Just right, half of them were the Red Dragons and the other half Black Dragons.

These were the Five Colored Dragons who had pledged their allegiance to the Red Dragon Krest and his Tricolor Dragon Bandit Group — poor dragons that had just been evicted from their nests by their parents and had only just acquired the ability to defend themselves.

“Muria, I can understand you taking these six guys. After all, you’ve put in a lot of energy and resources since their infancy,” Troy glanced at the six transformed dragon youths, “But why did you bring these twelve burdens?”

“If I do not, do you suggest I abandon them?” Muria replied when questioned by Troy.

“Indeed, you don’t need to take care of them,” Troy’s green tiger eyes coldly scanned these twelve little dragons, scaring these dragons who had only just left the protection of their parents, “They serve no purpose to you.”

“Do you know what would happen if I abandoned them?” Muria inquired again, not waiting for Troy to answer before replying himself, “They would all die. The worst-case scenario is that these twelve dragons might not even live to see adulthood. If they are a little lucky, maybe one of them could reach adulthood.”

Hearing Muria’s words, the twelve dragons looked at each other with terrified faces. They knew that what Muria was saying was the truth. They joined the Krest bandit group and sought his protection to avoid death.

As for now, under Muria’s command, they had no desire to leave; even if they were on opposing sides, it was still better than being nearest to death. After all, the Golden Dragon would not harm his kin, unlike the evil ones.

All of dragon kind, the Five Colored Dragons had the highest death rate, for they were not united and lacked family ties.

During the dragon lifespan, the most precarious age is the juvenile stage, not the infant or young dragon stages. The Five Colored Dragons, during these two ages, were under the protection of their parents – hence, they were safe.

But during the juvenile period, they had already lost the protection of their parents, and yet, they were not powerful enough. They became an easy target for many creatures who could assault them without fear of revenge.

“So, you plan on carrying these twelve burdens?”

“Yes,” Muria nodded.

“Don’t forget your identity,” Troy looked seriously at Muria, “You are a descendant of the Golden Dragon, while they are Evil Dragons. You have no responsibility or obligation to look after them.”

“I am but half a dragon,” Muria bent down and deliberately rubbed the forehead of the big cat, “Moreover, the bloodline I have is not an ordinary Golden Dragon lineage. As a descendant of the Dragon King, my perspective and mentality should transcend such tribalism. So what if they are Five Colored Dragons?”

“So, you must take these burdens?”

“I will not abandon them,” Muria spoke with resolve. To abandon these dragons was akin to sentencing them to death.

“Okay, you can nurture them, but you will not allow them to grow freely right? After all, these dragons have been raised by the evil ones, and their behaviors don’t meet your ideal standard?”

“Hmm, how could I hypothetically let them grow freely under me?” Muria smiled benevolently at the twelve juvenile dragons.

“But you are currently looking for dragons, where will you find the energy to instruct these burdens?”

“Who told you I plan to personally teach?” Muria asked surprised.

“You plan to have them teach?” Troy was not stupid. He understood immediately Muria’s plan and turned to look at the six rebel dragons.

“Hmm,” Muria nodded at the six rebel dragons, “Krest, starting today, the six of you will begin to train these little fellows.”

“Muria…His Majesty!” Krest called out Muria’s name. After encountering stern eyes from the Red Dragon Otlis, the word “Your Majesty” was hastily added, “What should we teach them?”

“Start with basic dragon etiquette; what to do and what not to do,” Muria responded as if it were only natural.

“Understood!” Krest quickly nodded, the so-called dragon etiquette would undoubtedly be based on the standards of the Golden Dragons and not the evil ones.

“Besides, after they gather the basic etiquette under my leadership, you should begin to teach them magic spells.”

“How could we teach?” Krest asked cautiously. While he had an idea, he wanted to confirm.

“In the same way, I taught you once, you all should teach them,” Muria replied.

Upon hearing this, Krest and his companions looked at each other and began to laugh insidiously. The juvenile dragons started to quiver uncontrollably.

“In other words, if they cannot complete the magic spell tasks I set, I can punish them?” Krest, the Red Dragon, looked inquisitive. After having been scalped by Muria, these rebel dragons have somewhat smartened up.

“Of course, but in moderation. Don’t go overboard,” Muria glanced at the shivering juvenile dragons and added, “As long as there are no casualties.”

“Understood.” Hearing Muria’s last statement, Krest and the Five Colored Dragons appeared excited and looked maliciously at the juvenile dragons who sought their protection.

Finally, they had the chance to inflict upon others the pain they once endured, but this time, they were the instructors.

“Learn magic?” one juvenile Red Dragon, seeing the ill-intended eyes of his kin, could not help but softly mutter in a timid voice, “We are dragons, who are not like those weak humans that need to learn magic.”

“Hey, kid,” Krest, now in the form of a red-haired young man, jumped on the back of the small dragon, “Who told you there is no need to learn magic. Look at those ancient dragons, which of them did not learn magic.”

“Then, I can also wait until the elderly stage to learn!” the dragon argued.

“Wait until the elder dragon stage to learn? You think you can live that long?” Krest sniggered at the juvenile Red Dragon he was standing on, “Learning magic increases your chances to reach old age.”

…listening to Krest persuading the juvenile dragons to learn magic, Muria turned to look at the Red-clothed Grand Archbishop, who was sweating profusely, and smiled, “Is the Teleportation Array that’ll take us to the Subcontinent ready?”

“It’s all set, we are ready when you are.” The Red-clothed Grand Archbishop cast one last look at the Five Colored Dragons and then turned his gaze to his Temple Guards lined up behind him.”Your Excellency Muria,” he asked in a low voice, “Do you really need to teach these Evil Dragons magic?”
