King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 286 - 286 281 Separation

Chapter 286: Chapter 281: Separation Chapter 286: Chapter 281: Separation The exclusive weapons of the Titan possess nearly infinite growth potential. Their power is not fixed at the moment of forging, but can increase with the growth of their master’s strength.

Not only that, the exclusive weapons of the Titan can enhance their properties and obtain special abilities by devouring other weapons, legendary metals, or special treasures.

However, the moment the exclusive weapons of the Titan are forged, they become legendary weapons. Ordinary weapons, treasures, and metals are worthless to them, mere scrap.

But evidently, this scepter bestowed by the Platinum Dragon God does not fall within the scrap category. The fact that it can release divine might is proof enough of this.

Although the functionality of the Dragon’s Command is rather insubstantial, it is indeed a very precious treasure. However, because it lacks direct offensive power, it is classified as an alien treasure.

Looking at the Staff of the End in his hand, which was relentlessly devouring another scepter, Muria’s expression became conflicted.

Although he didn’t want to admit it, he did need the Dragon’s Command’s ability to communicate with and summon an ancient dragon. It might save his life in a critical moment.

But on the other hand, his exclusive weapon had taken a liking to the Dragon’s Command and wanted to devour it to enhance its power. Normally, Muria would not interfere, but he needed the summoning function of the Dragon’s Command.

However, if the Staff of the End devoured the Dragon’s Command, there was a high probability it would inherit all of its functions and properties. This left him conflicted.

It was not a hundred percent, but a certain probability. If the Staff of the End did not acquire this function, it would indeed be a loss… After pondering for a while, Muria let go of his hand, slowly retreating, choosing to let the Wand of the End continue to devour.

After a while, the divine chains formed by ancient divine texts, which had extended from the Staff of the End, dispersed and reintegrated into the staff. The Staff whistled, the nine-colored spirit light surged, and a lifelike platinum dragon shadow exuding endless majesty appeared on the body of the staff.

“Clang!” On the other side, a two-meter long strip of scrap iron, riddled with dents, fell to the ground with a crisp sound. This was the Dragon’s Command, which the Staff of the End had completely devoured. It had turned into useless scrap metal, with its platinum dragon sculpture at the top of the scepter disappearing.

“Err!” Muria grabbed the Staff of the End that had fallen into his hand. Just as he was about to see how many of the Dragon’s Command’s functions it had inherited, he felt a familiar oppressive force weighing down on him.

It was Divine Might, exactly the same as what had radiated from the Dragon’s Command, but even more potent.

Only then did Muria realize that this was a reward bestowed by the Dragon God. This scepter could have been forged by Bahamut himself.

He had let his exclusive weapon devour and destroy it as soon as he got his hands on it, which was rather outrageous. Unsurprisingly, Muria had successfully attracted the attention of this progenitor god of the dragon race.

“Your Excellency!” Feeling the Divine Might that had suddenly descended, the Dragon mother Atreus bowed. Even the three-headed Tower Spirit did the same, showing utmost respect, while Troy beside Muria immediately prostrated himself on the ground.

“Summon Bahamut!” Sensing this profound but not oppressive Divine Might, Muria’s body responded accordingly, causing a majestic figure bearing two wings to appear behind him.

Muria now felt an urge to undo the transformation spell and resume his true form, but she refrained, as this Divine Might only appeared momentarily before disappearing.

The Platinum Dragon God indeed paid attention to him, but it seemed the attention lasted just for a fleeting moment, showing no more interest than that.

The truth proved that Muria had overthought this matter. Even creatures like him, as special as they were, could hardly deceive the Platinum Dragon God after one glance. The Golden Dragon lineage in his blood could fool Caslana into thinking that Muria was a dragon, but it couldn’t deceive a Dragon God.

“An offspring of Dimos, born from both the Titan and the dragon, life is, indeed, peculiar,” a slightly surprised voice echoed in Muria’s ears, filled with the vicissitudes of time and the majesty developed from ruling numerous generations of dragons.

“Over the course of endless time, you are the first little creature I have seen to be born with the bloodline of both the Titans and Dragon Kings,” the Platinum Dragon God commented.

Muria responded with an awkward smile and a slight bow, for he didn’t know which direction to bow to, given that the Platinum Dragon God had only sent a stream of consciousness to communicate with him.

“Little one, live up to your inherited bloodlines, and I look forward to the moment you stand shoulder to shoulder with me thousands of years from now.” The Platinum Dragon God didn’t mention Muria’s destruction of the Dragon’s Command, only leaving him a blessing before the consciousness left.

Muria remained bowing for a while, only straightening up when he was sure the Dragon God had truly gone. After all, he was the progenitor of all metallic dragons and deserved ample respect.

“Tch, Muria, you really know how to stir up trouble! You even managed to attract the attention of the Platinum Dragon God,” Troy, who had been laying on the ground nearby, teased as he got up and saw Muria straightening up.

“Keep your mouth shut!” Muria grumbled. Though the Platinum Dragon God was a benevolent and kind deity, Muria didn’t want to attract his attention, at least not at the present time.

The Platinum Dragon God’s strength correlated-seemingly-is with his age, and for a being of that caliber, Muria didn’t wish to get involved too much for the time being. The disparity in both strength and status made him feel very reserved.

“In addition to the Divine Might, my magic staff seems to have gained all the abilities of the Dragon’s Command.” As he responded to the teasing from the big cat, Muria took a moment to sense the condition of the Wand of the End, subsequently revealing a joyful smile.

Divine Might was not important to him as he did not rely on it, but the ability to contact ancient dragons was absolutely vital.

“Congrats!” Hearing this, the Golden Dragon Sister Caslana, with a complex expression, managed a forced smile. Even though she hadn’t heard a single word of the Dragon God’s conversation with Muria, she saw the awe-inspiring figure bearing horned-like projections and dragon wings that emerged from behind him.

… About ten days later, when all the scales and skin peeled from the six rebel dragons hanging on the six Mage Towers were completely regenerated, they removed the bronze pillars embedded in them amid gasps from Bologna residents and flew into the castle.

“It’s time to part ways. Thank you for your help and care over the days, Sister Caslana, I will cherish it forever!” Thus, Muria bid farewell to Caslana with a whopping thirty-four dragons in tow, leaving with a promise before he left, “You can contact me anytime if you need help.”
