King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 284 - 284 279 Dragons Command
Chapter 284: Chapter 279 Dragon’s Command Chapter 284: Chapter 279 Dragon’s Command “Prince Muria!” Just as Muria returned to Kaslana’s castle with Troy, the voice of the three-headed tower spirit of the Golden Dragon Sister reached his ears. Then, her petite yet elegant figure, somewhat similar to Kaslana’s, appeared before Muria.
“What’s up?” Muria looked at the Tower Spirit.
“The rewards conferred by the Platinum Dragon God and three Dragon Kings have arrived. The part belonging to you has been sent down to us here.”
“Oh.” Muria responded nonchalantly. He wasn’t very interested in this so-called reward.
“Rewards from the Dragon God and Dragon Kings!” The Big Cat who came with Muria to Bologna seemed surprised. Of course, it knew what the Dragon King represented. “How did you get it, and how come you don’t seem excited?”
Puzzled by Muria’s nonchalance, the Big Cat knew that just a handful of the Dragon Kings had might greater than its own.
“Probably just some Elemental Crystals or such,” said Muria indifferently. “Even if it’s not Elemental Crystals, I think it would be some things their majesties have no use for.”
“What their majesties have no use for is still a rare treasure for you.” the three-headed tower spirit said seriously.
“Hmm!” Muria just smiled, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
“Moreover, Prince Muria, your reward isn’t Elemental Crystals, it’s a treasure that is extremely useful to you at the moment.” the three-headed tower spirit added.
“What treasure?” Before Muria could ask, Troy asked instead, seeming even more anxious than Muria.
“The Dragon’s Command!” Along with the three-headed tower spirit’s answer, a scepter about three meters long, with a white base and golden patterns, emerged. At its top was a majestic giant dragon sculpture. It radiated a mighty aura that spread out from the room where Muria was and instantly covered Kaslana’s castle, causing the maid servants and some young dragons around the castle to kneel down.
“This is an epic aura.” As soon as the scepter appeared, the Big Cat couldn’t help but retreat a few steps. It was fixed on the scepter or more accurately, the lifelike golden giant dragon sculpture on it.
“This is divine might, not an epic aura.” Kaslana, a Golden Dragon Sister who appeared silently, couldn’t help but correct as she heard Troy’s words.
“Divine might? No wonder it feels different.” Seeing Kaslana, the blonde sister with long legs who suddenly appeared to correct, Troy licked his mustache, embarrassed.
As an exotic beast raised in the Titan Clan Lands, it had the good fortune to see the Epic Titan when it was very young. But seeing a deity was impossible in such a domain.
“What dragon is this on the scepter…?” Muria stared at the majestic white gold giant dragon on the scepter, from which the divine might was emanating. This dragon was the core of this scepter.
The appearance of this dragon didn’t match any of the metallic dragons in his inherited memories, so Muria naturally had a guess, “The Platinum Dragon God Bahamut?”
“That’s right!” Kaslana nodded, but when she heard Muria’s words, her brows slightly furrowed, “Little brother Muria, try not to call gods by their true names as much as possible in the future. It’s very easy to draw their attention.”
“What’s wrong with calling Bahamut by his name directly? I didn’t mean any disrespect to him.” Muria said unconcernedly. Calling gods by their divine names wasn’t a big deal in his view. His grandfather was a deity. Why would he be scared?
“It’s not good to call a deity by their true name after all. The Platinum Dragon God certainly wouldn’t mind, but if it’s another deity, it would be troublesome if you unintentionally attract their attention.”
“Okay, I’ll pay attention next time.” Seeing Kaslana’s serious face, Muria had to compromise and nodded in agreement. Normal intelligent creatures, dragons included, maintain a basic respect for deities, unlike him.
“So, what great use is this scepter for?” Muria held onto the three-meter-long scepter, feeling curious about this mighty divine aura. With such a divine might, how disappointing could this treasure be?
“According to the introduction, the holder of this scepter can command all creatures with the bloodline of the metallic dragon clan within their spiritual sensing range.”
“Only able to command creatures with dragon clan bloodline, not able to command actual dragons?” Muria promptly spotted the critical point upon hearing the high-profile introduction by the three-headed tower spirit.
“No.” the tower spirit shook her head. Commanding, however nice it sounds, is just a form of enslavement. The Platinum Dragon God would never give a treasure that could enslave his descendants.
“Then this is pretty much useless.” Muria couldn’t help but twitch his mouth. Even without this Dragon’s Command, with his identity, he could easily command creatures with the Metallic Dragon Clan Bloodline.
Even for the ones with a firm will who can resist his bloodline pressure, he can use physical means to get those who don’t obey his commands to behave well.
In summary, this scepter is just a useless treasure that can continuously emit divine might. With such divine might, those who don’t possess sufficient strength or belong to a bloodline of a high ranking can’t even pick up this scepter.
“Does it have any other use?” Troy asked. Even it thought this scepter was pretty useless; these Dragon Kings and Dragon Gods are too stingy.
“Yes. The holder of this scepter can sense the existence of metallic dragons nearby.”
“How wide is the sensing range?” Upon hearing this function, Muria’s eyes lit up. This was interesting.
“The range depends on the strength of the metallic dragon. The stronger the metallic dragon, the greater the distance at which you can sense them.”
Muria nodded. He understood how this sensing feature worked. The power of the scepter’s sensing ability depends on the strength of the dragon being sensed.
For instance, a young Golden Dragon and an Ancient Golden Dragon are located 10 kilometers away. The scepter holder can sense both of them. But once the distance is increased to a thousand kilometers, the scepter holder can no longer sense the young Golden Dragon, but can still sense the Ancient Golden Dragon.
“Furthermore, holding this Dragon’s Command, you can contact each dragon you sense.” The adorable three-headed Tower Spirit looked at Muria seriously and gave an inappropriate example, “If you, Prince Muria, are being chased by a legendary creature, you may hold this scepter to communicate with the closest Ancient Dragon you sense. You can send a rescue message to keep yourself safe.”
“And that function is what you referred to as being extremely useful for me.” Upon hearing this hypothetical situation, Muria couldn’t help but stare at the three-headed Tower Spirit with a wry smile on his face.
