King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 266 - 266 261 Dad Save Me

Chapter 266: Chapter 261: Dad, Save Me! Chapter 266: Chapter 261: Dad, Save Me! A magic array radiating golden rays appeared over the red-haired youth Leon’s head. One by one, streaks of light flew out of the array and fell onto the youth, transforming into magnificent pieces of armor.

In an instant, the red-haired youth was dressed in a set of golden armor, perfectly protecting him. The sword in his hand also changed under the golden glow, turning into a heavy and broad knight sword, adorned with mysterious and dense runes.

Not only that, his seemingly ordinary horned horse let out a roar like a dragon, experiencing a complete transformation. Sharp, slender metallic blades extended from every possible contact point on the horse’s body, including its forehead.

The scales identical to those of a regular horned horse rapidly thickened and fused to form plates of armor, shining with metallic luster.

“Demon Hunter Knights!” shouted many Saint Warriors when they saw the casually dressed boy transforming into a golden Knight in a blink of an eye.

Though, the legacy of the Demon Hunter Knights is almost lost in this era, these knights who once protected the human race, have nearly faded into obscurity. But their heroic deeds of battling through the Dark Age, leading the rise of the human race in the Demon-hunting Era, are still being compiled into various versions by minstrels, being spread in every kingdom, city, and village.

Almost every human boy has heard legends about the Demon Hunter Knights. After witnessing a real Demon Hunter Knight with their own eyes, they can instantly recognize him based on these legends.

Some characteristics of Demon Hunter Knights are quite difficult to imitate, such as the unique armor and the Demon Hunting Warhorse that is said to traverse any terrain.

“You are the Golden Demon Hunter Knight!” Muria squinted at Leon, who had donned the Demon Hunter Armor, then immediately turned to the awkwardly scratching middle-aged uncle, “So, you must be the Silver Demon Hunter Knight!”

Even though Muria’s sentence was a question, his tone was confirming. If anyone was seeking humans with a similarity to the willing Saint Warriors, the Demon Hunter Knights would be the absolute answer; those who sacrificed their lives to guard the humans.

Remembering the two Demon Hunter Knights of Valiant and seeing this father-son duo here, if Muria still couldn’t confirm the identity of the rascal uncle, then his mind must be lacking.

“I am screwed by this kid Leon, but how could I encounter this little monster here!” the Rascal Uncle murmured in a low voice. Muria’s memory was still fresh to him.

While in human form, where he couldn’t exert most of his strength, he was hacked ten times with a battle axe by Muria and couldn’t even find an opportunity to fight back.

So, after the agreed ten rounds, he directly escaped without any interest in continuing the battle with the monster. If Muria returned to his true form, he could suppress him, perhaps even trample him.

Crucially, his twin blades had ten rice grain-sized notches hacked out by Muria. You must know that his Demon Hunting Armor inherited over hundreds of thousands of years, especially during the Demon Hunting era, held a part of the human race’s faith.

Its hardness was no worse than the Divine Artifacts used by the gods and even surpassed many of these Divine Artifacts. Yet, even this leveled weapon got nicked during an encounter with the battle axe in Muria’s hands. It was unbelievable and shocked him at the time, however, the good news is that these notches have autonomously healed.

“Meeting for the third time, allow me to introduce myself, my humble name is Herman Louis.” The middle-aged rascal uncle, understanding he couldn’t avoid it anymore, reluctantly revealed his name, indirectly admitting his identity as a Demon Hunter Knight.

“This is my son, Leon Louis. As you have seen, he is also a Demon Hunter Knight,” Herman pointed to his son who had put on his armor and introduced.

“Pleased to meet the Demon Hunter Knights!” a Saint Warrior saluted with a solemn demeanor, placing a hand on his chest in a respectful manner. This happens to be the rightful honor for Demon Hunter Knights among humans.

Following the first Saint Warrior, the rest also reacted, saluting the father-son duo in turn.

“No need for that.” Suddenly having three hundred radiant Saint Warriors saluting him, Herman quickly waved them off, appearing a bit restrained. From the time he became a Demon Hunter Knight till present, this was the first time he encountered so many people saluting him.

The Demon Hunting era has ended, and while Demon Hunter Knights are still intact, they no longer dare to appear openly. When slaying monsters that jeopardize the human race, they always put on their armor, hiding their true identities.

The restrictions of the Demon Hunter Armor were too lethal for the knights. While the knights who inherited it still carried out their duties, they no longer had faith in their own kind.

Today, Herman brought his son without any disguise and had already prepared for the ultimate sacrifice…

“I have seen two Demon Hunter Knights in my lifetime, it was worth it!” exclaimed one Saint Warrior when the moment Herman admitted his identity.

“Not just seen them, we will also have the opportunity to travel and fight alongside them soon!”

…The Saint Warriors were discussing, but among them, about a dozen slowly and subtly changed their positions, encircling the father-son duo without making a fuss.

“Can we now enter the Kingdom of Bavaria?” asked Leon, who was feeling a bit ecstatic due to the Saint Warriors’ discussion, his voice laced with a metallic twang because of the beast-shaped metal helmet.

“…” One of the Saint Warriors turned back to his companions, and after he saw his peers nodding, only then did he turn around to face the Golden Knight, Leon.

“Mr. Leon, could you please stay behind?”

“If I stay behind, what about my father?”

“If it’s possible, we would like Sir Herman to lead us into the Kingdom of Bavaria.”

“So, you don’t want me to go in?” Leon took a deep breath, trying hard to suppress his anger.

“You are still young, you shouldn’t be entering such a deadly land. When your strength improves, becoming a stronger Demon Hunter Knight, you can protect more humans.”

“What if I insist on going in?” Leon lifted his greatsword and stared at the Saint Warrior in front of him.

“Then we have no choice but to offend you! Everyone, attack!”

With a command, more than ten burly Saint Warriors jumped off their horned horses and pounced on Leon from different directions.

“No one can stop me!” Leon tried to knock a Saint Warrior with the knight’s sword in his hand. His Demon Hunter Armor disappeared in an instant.

But he was reluctant to give up. His body burst out with a crimson fighting qi, but it was instantly suppressed by the united force of the Saint Warriors, and Leon was dragged off his Magical Warhorse by these burly men.

“Father, save me!”
