King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 248 - 248 243 Unstoppable
Chapter 248: Chapter 243: Unstoppable Chapter 248: Chapter 243: Unstoppable The ancient dragons joined forces to launch a magic attack, extracting vast elements from the four big elemental realms and shaping them into a catastrophe-level spell, a terrifying surge of elements hurtling toward Berlaint, as well as his summoned dense undead legion that obscured the sky. Everything in their path shattered, all that is, was decomposed into its most primitive state by the rampant elements.
Facing the united attack of the ancient dragons, of course, Bertlein would not sit and wait for death. He raised the noble-style magic staff in his hand and through his own brand left in all the souls of the undead under his command, manipulating their power. The raging death energy surged out, obscuring Bertlein and his undead legion.
Soon, on the cloud of death qi that occupied the central city area, gray and black death qi surged, condensing into countless heads of evil beasts with long black qi trailing behind them, rushing towards the elemental tide…
“Boom!” A deafening explosion resonated, mixed with the elements’ violent shock wave of death qi that swept in all directions. Some dragons in their adolescence, their strengths still at the gold rank, staggered under this shock wave, appearing as if they would be blown away.
“The city…it’s gone!” After the explosion produced elemental turbulence that gradually dissipated, the results of the united attack launched by the nineteen ancient dragons were revealed. A city comparable in size to Ezreal City that could house millions of humans, disappeared.
All of the buildings, residences, manors, castles, temples… due to the undead catastrophe, the undead that were wandering and the humans who were eking out a bleak existence in some corner of the city… everything was wiped out in a probing attack, not leaving a trace.
The cloud of death qi that had just covered Bertlein and his undead legion had also become extremely thin. Many undead souls within it were on the verge of extinguishing, just like Orlina’s Dark Knight father.
And many of the slightly weaker undead, their soul fire directly extinguished in a collision of power, turned into a pile of skeletal bones and fell. Their soul energy was drained by Bertlein, they could no longer maintain their existence.
Meanwhile, within Muria’s line of sight, there were colorful bands of light dancing everywhere, looking a little like the aurora in his previous life’s Antarctic. The scene looked quite romantic.
“The elements in this region have been thrown into chaos. Unless you have a power above the Soul Intent Level along with the corresponding magic casting level, don’t think about casting a formal spell.”
Next to Muria, Kaslana looked at the aurora that floated past her and frowned. Then she looked at Muria, swung the magic staff in her hand, and laughed a little smugly,
“Fortunately, when I chose my weapon, I had foreseen this situation. When my magic staff was forged, fine gold was added to it. The body is sturdy enough, so at critical moments, like now, it can also be used as a Warhammer.”
“Adding Fine Gold into the magic staff!”
Muria’s mouth twitched, what sort of operation is this? Fine Gold, the legendary metal that weighs nearly a hundred times as much as equivalent metals, is a favorite among close combat professions.
But for a regular spell-caster, it’s as superfluous as chicken ribs. A magic staff with fine gold added to it, under normal circumstances, they wouldn’t be able to lift it without casting a buff spell on themselves.
However, this sort of weapon that has Fine Gold mixed in it, can cast spells, and be used in close combat, seems to be quite suitable for the dragon race.
“My Staff of the End seems to be able to be used as a Warhammer as well.” Muria glanced at the Staff of the End in his hand and murmured to himself, but thought better of it. Compared with the other eight Exclusive Weapons, the staff’s weight is too light. Using it to hit someone wouldn’t feel satisfying.
Just as Muria and Kaslana were mumbling to each other, the ancient dragons all flew toward Bertlein, ready to begin close combat.
Bertlein led ten Legendary Undead Dragons, consisting of three Ghost Dragons and seven Bone Dragons, to meet them head-on.
He believed as long as he maintained combat with these ancient dragons for a time, the Legendary Undead and Liches who accompanied him would definitely sense the fluctuations of battle and then come to support him.
There is no absolute way these ancient dragons could defeat him… he always held onto this belief…
“Legendary Undead Dragons are held back by the ancient dragons as is Berlaint.” Muria held the Seven Sins Blade in one hand while tucking away the Staff of End in the other.
Looking at the wave of Undead that was rushing towards them, these young giant dragons, with the most visually striking being the ancient dragons and the brutal and violent Ghost Dragons which are an amalgamation of dragon bones and dragon soul. They stand at the peak of all Undead.
“The ancient dragons have already engaged and the area of combat is dragged into the sky, now it’s our turn.” Kaslana raised her staff to communicate with every Giant Dragon.
“Bertlein, who wantonly slaughters our own kind and has committed grave sins, will receive his due punishment here today.
This sinner has sealed our kin’s Dragon Soul in Remnants with undead magic, turning them into vulgar undead creatures, to be his minions and endure endless pain.
Now, we shall relieve our brethren of their pain, allowing them to rest eternally and be unpolluted.”
“Kill!” How many giant dragons were stirred passionately by Kaslana’s speech as they roared and rushed towards the Undead Dragons, intending to let their desecrated souls rest for eternity.
“There sure are a lot of Bone Dragons and Ghost Dragons!” Muria admired lowly to herself as she looked at over a thousand Undead Dragons in the sky.
“What’s the matter? Little brother Muria, are you scared?” Kaslana who was already at the forefront of dragon crowd knocked over a Bone Dragon with her staff breaking its jaw, her gentle voice of wisdom echoed in Muria’s ears.
“Scared?” Muria transformed into a Golden Rainbow, plunging directly into the heart of the Undead Dragon horde, his sword and blade crossed over, a X-shaped Sword Qi slaughtered a whole Bone Dragon, and its Soul Fire was extinguished by Sword Qi in an instant.
“I’m happy to see so many Undead Dragons for me to cut! This time, I should be able to kill them to my heart’s content.”
Muria, who turned into a golden rainbow and charged into the horde of Undead Dragons, bore an excited smile on his face as he swung the Seven Sins Blade and the Sword of Demon Purge at every Undead Dragon blocking his path.
Sword Qi ran rampant, the blade glinted in the air.
Even though the skeletons of these Bone Dragons could compare to some medium Extraordinary Metals, they were completely incapable of blocking the cutting edge of Muria’s sword and blade.
“So powerful!” a Jade Dragon watched in awe as a Golden Rainbow shot into the black cloud formed by the thousands of Undead Dragons, advancing with an unstoppable force. Every skeleton of the dragons tainted by Death Qi fell like a downpour where he passed.
