King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 236 - 236 231 Seal
Chapter 236: Chapter 231: Seal Chapter 236: Chapter 231: Seal “Red Dragon!” Orlina, holding her little brother, looked up at the giant dragon in front of her, close to a hundred meters long and not yet fully appeared, who had just crushed a seemingly invincible lich into the ground with one swipe of its claw.
The oppressive dragon prestige spread, causing many ordinary humans who were hiding from the undead slaughter to faint on the spot. And the undead, who were frantically slaughtering humans, crawled on the ground and shivered in fear under this oppression. Some weaker skeletons and vengeful spirits even exploded on the spot.
The earlier chaos near the city gate now was completely silent.
Orlina looked around in a daze, only to realize that she seemed to have been saved by a dragon.
Being saved by a dragon wasn’t particularly extraordinary. But what was bizarre was that her rescuer was a Red Dragon known for its evil, destructive behaviour and fondness for destroying human cities.
All the things she had been through these two days confused Orlina. First came the undead catastrophe, then she encountered a legendary lich, and she came to know that her father was turned into a dark knight and was alive. And when she prepared herself for death, a red dragon suddenly appeared and saved her. Life is truly unpredictable.
“Human girl!” Otlis looked down at the mildly dazzled Orlina and unconsciously licked his lips.
But just as the Red Dragon was about to make a move, an enraged roar came from under its claws.
“Red Dragon, you’re courting death!”
Then, “Boom!” A violent explosion occurred directly beneath the claw of Otlis. As a result, the ground above the lich, he was pressing his dragon claw on, bulged up and collapsed quickly. Many houses in the vicinity collapsed due to the explosion.
Orlina and her brother were once again overturned by the shockwave caused by the explosion. Although the shockwave was close, since the explosion occurred underground and most of the force was directed at Otlis’s dragon claw holding the lich, the two siblings weren’t injured.
“Hiss!” At the time of the explosion, the Red Dragon couldn’t help but let out a low growl of pain. The dragon claw pressing down the lich was pushed away from the ground by the impact of the explosion. Shattered dragon scales and hot dragon blood splattered, and its claws seemed injured by the explosion.
“Gaga, Red Dragon, that’s what you get for ambushing me!”
In the place where the explosion took place, a pit more than ten meters deep appeared. Then a black-robed “skeleton,” missing a bone palm and repaired with fractures all over, floated up slowly. Its angry stance looked at the mountainous red giant beast.
How could it not be angry? Unprepared, it was hit with a claw by the Red Dragon, and its painstakingly refined lich body was almost turned to bone fragments. So, in anger, it straightforwardly detonated an entire bone palm, used the explosion, and managed to escape from under its dragon claw.
“Lich?” Otlis raised his dragon claw, which was already almost healed, and then looked at this skeleton, which was almost missing half, with a very contemptuous gaze.
“I ambushed you? Ridiculous, you don’t even look at what thing you are. Are you also worthy of being ambushed by me? You just happened to be at the landing point of His Majesty’s phase gate.”
“Red Dragon, you…” The lich was about to bring up the Undead Council to scare away the dragon that appeared suddenly, but behind this Red Dragon, one by one, agile Green Dragons appeared. Long dragon chants echoed, and the brutal dragon prestige spread without any cover, dispersing the necromantic fog in this area.
Seeing this, the Lich shut up directly because the group of dragons that seemed to have appeared through teleportation magic made it realize a serious problem.
Under present conditions, the Bavaria Kingdom should have been jointly banned by the big figures of the Council in space. All teleportation spells and magic arrays should be completely invalid, but the way in which this Red Dragon and the gradually increasing number of Green Dragons had appeared indicated that the space blockade had been broken.
“It seems you’ve already guessed something.” A calm voice emitted from between the horns atop the Red Dragon’s head.
Following the source of the sound, the lich saw a black-haired boy with golden pupils, the Soul Fire within his skull blazing uncontrollably.
“Who are you?”
It was terrified. The Red Dragon before him, unabashedly releasing its Dragon Prestige, had allowed the lich to accurately sense its level — the Peak of Soul Intent.
And the one who could stand atop the Red Dragon of Soul Peak, even though his aura was concealed and the Lich hadn’t sensed his presence earlier, his strength must be… a Legend! At this thought, the Lich’s Soul Fire trembled even more violently.
“Your Excellency, I am a member of the Undead Council…”
“I have no interest in knowing your name!” Muria, with a look of indifference, stared at the lich whose skeleton was full of cracks. He waved his hand behind him, “Fiona, take it out.”
“Yes, My Lord!” Behind Muria, a woman with cyan hair, blue eyes, and a voluptuous figure appeared, bowing slightly towards Muria.
Then, the unique crown of the Green Dragon extended from Fiona’s forehead in her human form. Then, one after another, scales filled with runes floated out from her skin.
Fiona, who had transformed into a half-dragon half-human monster, moved with a flicker to appear before the lich and, without any warning, punched its skull.
The defensive spells the lich had placed on its own bones shattered under Fiona’s fist, “Boom!” The lich’s skeletal body turned into a shadow and smashed onto the ground.
“Another dragon, and a Soul-level Green Dragon at that!” The lich, as it sunk into the ground, sensed Fiona’s aura as she attacked. Considering how both dragons addressed Muria, it recalled
The originally vigorous Soul Fire shrunk back into its skull: “Run, I need to run right away. Some big figure from the Dragon Race has come. Certainly, it must be for Lord Bertlein. I’m just a small pawn… but they found me so quickly.”
“Damn it!” The lich, just about to cast a teleportation spell to escape once again, found the spell ineffective. Space was sealed off again. “I knew this would happen.”
“Don’t think about escaping with magic, lich.” A cold sneer came from above the pit the lich had created. “His Majesty has taken action and sealed off the surrounding space. You can’t escape.”
“You cannot kill me.” The lich slowly flew up from the ground, facing Fiona who had transformed into her dragon form, “What about if I let you go? I promise not to report this to the council.”
“As expected of a brainless skeleton, taking you out doesn’t mean killing you. As a lich of the Undead Council, the only right way to deal with you is through sealing.”
“Seal me!” The Soul Fire inside the lich’s skull flickered slightly and upon realising that its escape route had been completely cut off, the lich went mad, “You forced me into this! Do you truly believe I have no means of resistance? Come out! My loyal subordinates!”
With the lich’s call, a deathly aura filled the air, followed by a howling cold wind. One undead creature after another was released by it, Dark Knights riding Skeletal Warhorses, vengeful spirits whose bodies had completely solidified, revealing their appearances from life, and Abominations exceeding ten meters in height, their bodies sewn together, looking like a mass of flesh…
