King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 175 - 175 170 Gold Wolf
Chapter 175: Chapter 170 Gold Wolf Chapter 175: Chapter 170 Gold Wolf “Howl!” A wolf howl, filled with elation, echoed, shaking the vast surroundings.
Muria, who had just outlined his recent plans to the big cat, stood atop half of the upturned mountain peak, looking down at a miscellaneous wolf, roaring in pain with blood all over!
It was a ugly mixed-breed wolf, dark green, and golden fur mixed together. There were multiple gashes on its body, leaving bright red muscles exposed – it looked quite miserable.
“Not bad!” Muria nodded approvingly while observing the wolf king at the bottom of the mountain. Having overcome the pressure of the legendary aura, it was beginning to look the part.
Down below, after hearing Muria’s praise and approval, the wolf king laid down, quickly wagging its tail, ingratiating itself to its new master, much like a dog would.
“What are you up to?” Troy, who walked over to Muria’s side and looked down at the mixed-breed wolf king, asked, “It has your Qi on it, are you trying to make it your minion?”
“Yes!”
“Why bother?”
“I want to cultivate a wolf king and let it command a wolf pack of tens of thousands to help me find dragons in this vast wilderness.”
“Don’t you want me to subdue soul-level Monsters? With them, what’s the point of the Wolf King?”
“They are high-end forces meant to control the field, they are not suitable for running around everywhere, they cause too much commotion. To truly find dragons in the wilderness, I have to rely on this wolf king and the wolf pack he commands.”
“Oh.”
“You will be in charge of it in the future, I’m going to the Human Kingdom, I don’t have the time to look after it.”
“I’m in charge?” Troy glanced at the wolf king’s wounds starting to crust with scabs, “It only has the strength of Gold First Level, it seemed like it only got promoted with your help, it’s too weak.”
“It won’t be soon.” Muria grinned, and a tiny sword that could fit in the palm of his hand appeared in his left hand. He then held it and gently pricked his right index finger.
A drop of pale-gold blood emerged, shimmering brightly under the clear sky, swirling with tiny electric arcs, like a precious pearl.
The youth extended his hand and flicked his finger. The bead of blood flew out and landed in the wolf king’s mouth. Then, the wound on his finger closed.
Down below, the wolf king swallowed the blood bead. After a painful howl, brilliant golden thunderbolts exploded from its belly. A faint layer of Golden Dragon Flame covered its body, and then, intense changes began taking place.
Under the scorching of the Dragon Flames, the dark green fur on the wolf king’s body turned into ashes in an instant. The golden fur managed to hold on for a while but was also burnt to a crisp eventually.
At this point, this wolf king was devoid of any hair, but it didn’t make it look any less appealing, because its skin was covered for the most part by fine golden scales.
“Roar!” The wolf king couldn’t help but lie down, letting out a pained groan. The changes had only just begun.
Thunder erupted, in response to the stimulation of Muria’s blood, the Wolf King’s body slowly began to swell, its skeleton growing briskly, becoming increasingly rugged, while its muscles also grew in sync.
However, it seemed that the enlargement of the skeleton was faster than the growth of muscles and skin. Therefore, a bloody scene took place. The rapid growth of the skeleton burst through the wolf’s skin, causing numerous lacerating wounds on the Wolf King’s body, revealing grim white bones in many places.
“Splutter!” Fresh blood spurted out from the wounds made by the growing skeleton, dyeing the ground all around the wolf a bloody color, and a bloody smell pervaded the air.
“This transformation is too intense.” Watching the Wolf King’s power surge, but its life energy rapidly declining, Troy shook his head, looking at Muria: “Aren’t you afraid that just one drop of your blood will tear it apart?”
“I’ve ridden it for two months, and it’s been invaded by my aura for so long; it’s just bearing the fusion of one ordinary drop of my blood. There’s no problem, it’s just a bit painful!”
Muria looked at the Wolf King, who had now become a Bone Wolf, with a hint of expectation in his eyes. “Don’t disappoint me again, seize this rebirth opportunity I’m granting you.”
The size of the Wolf King grew rapidly, from twelve meters, it advanced to thirteen meters…fourteen meters…until it reached fifteen meters.
Along with the rapid growth in size, its aura also surged rapidly. From the initial Gold First Level, it quickly climbed to the peak of the first level, then broke through to the Second Tier, all the way to the Third Tier, peaking at the Third Tier, and only when it was about to break through to the Fourth Tier it stopped.
“Howl!” The bone wolf, measuring eighteen meters in length, let out a long howl to the sky. Numerous bones were exposed to the air all over its body, drenched in blood, and looked grim. Through its chest cavity, Muria saw a powerful and throbbing heart—the wolf king’s skin had been all ruptured, leaving only the crimson muscles attached to the skeleton, which looked terrifying.
This wolf had integrated the drop of Muria’s blood and advanced to the Golden Stage Three peak. Hence, the Wolf King’s aura, which had declined to its lowest point, began to rise with the beating of its heart, with its vibrant life force erupting within it.
The muscles that adhered to its skeleton began to grow, slowly covering the exposed bones, turning it from a bone wolf into a furless blood wolf, looking even more terrifying.
Yet, the transformation on its body continued. The crimson muscles wrapping its body started to bulge, becoming robust, possessing a beauty of strength.
Next, a tenacious wolf skin grew over the muscles, followed by numerous dense golden scales., a symbol of the wolf having become Muria’s minion.
Dense golden scales covered its entire body, and from the gaps in the scales, strands of radiant golden hair began to grow. Unlike before, the hair that grew out on its body this time was purely golden. It was no longer a mangy wolf but had become a purebred, robust, and powerful Golden Wolf.
“Looks good!” Watching the Wolf King below, shining with golden light as if crafted from gold, Muria nodded in satisfaction.
“Master!” The Wolf King lay prostrate on the ground, lowering its head towards Muria, respectfully uttering two words.
“Hmm!” Muria nodded, then pointed to Troy. “Starting from today, you follow her, treat her as if she were me, and obey all her commands, understand?”
“Understood!” Gazing upwards, the blue eyes of the tiger indifferently looked down at the Wolf King. In the dark wolf eyes, a trace of loneliness flashed.
The Wolf King could sense the unfathomable strength of the blue-eyed master, and the dominating aura of his bloodline, they weren’t on the same level.
This was a being who was born to be admired by countless other creatures.
Perhaps only such a being could stand next to the master, shoulder to shoulder with him!
