King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 162 - 162 157 Searching for the Dragon

Chapter 162: Chapter 157: Searching for the Dragon Chapter 162: Chapter 157: Searching for the Dragon Muria himself couldn’t remember how much resources he had invested in the Five Colored Dragons. This includes not only the measurable things but also other intangibles, such as his dedicated time and energy.

Now, the Five Colored Dragons, in which he had spent nearly all his energy, were disappearing. Golden Dragon Mother was casting his fostered Five Colored Dragons into various places in the Erathia World, one after another, and there was nothing he could do but watch it happen.

The Five Colored Dragons raised by Muria at the foot of the mountain were all disappearing into twelve spatial vortexes. Each vortex evenly contained about six giant dragons thrown by the Golden Dragon Mother.

Only four giant dragons were left by Muria’s side now: the Red Dragon Triplets and Academic Overlord White Dragon Clodia. They were in the courtyard, untethered.

“Your turn, you four pretty girls.” Under his indifferent gaze, Golden Dragon Mother grabbed the Red Dragon Triplets and White Dragon Clodia and threw them into two different spatial vortexes, banishing them to different subcontinents.

Muria noticed that when the Red Dragon Triplets were tossed into the spatial vortex, on the other side was a vibrant, beastly roaring Barbaric Forest. White Dragon Clodia, meanwhile, was banished to a place where it was snowing heavily, a deserted ice field rarely visited by humans.

The places they were banished to were very suitable for their survival. In fact, all the giant dragons that were banished were treated the same way. Golden Dragon Mother had no intention of sending them to their deaths.

“Muria, does it hurt?” Golden Dragon Mother asked the expressionless Muria. “A few days ago, when I just returned to the castle, I felt the same. Now, you can have a taste.”

“Oh, right, there’s still one more.” Golden Dragon Mother floated above the hovering White Tiger Troy, looking down at her. She grabbed the baffled White Tiger Troy, ready to throw her into a spatial Vortex.

“Can’t miss her!”

“Why grab me? I didn’t do anything!”

“But you’re Muria’s companion, dear little cat!”

“!!!” Seeing this, Muria was incensed and his nine weapons trembled in his body, their sharp edges piercing the sky. The spirit light shattered and he broke free from part of the immobilization spell. He regained movement in half of his body, and finally regain his voice.

“Mother, Troy is not a dragon! Don’t banish her!”

“Hmm, I know.” Golden Dragon Mother looked at Muria with a frightening smile, “Although she is not a dragon, she’s still your companion. Losing her, you can feel more of my sadness.”

“…” Then, Muria watched as the big cat who had slept with him for nearly twenty years, tossed into a spatial vortex.

There, tall ancient trees – a place perfectly suited for White Tiger Troy.

“Ah! After throwing away all your hard work, I feel much better.” Golden Dragon Mother clapped her hands, and up in the sky, the twelve spatial vortexes slowly reduced and then completely disappeared.

“Wow! Not bad, Little Muria, you actually broke my immobilization spell, though only partially. But the rest, you could probably slowly break free yourself, so I won’t help you anymore.”

Golden Dragon Mother looked at Muria with a gleeful smile, then reached out and effortlessly ripped the space apart like paper. Archmage Atris stood before the eye-blinding black spatial rift, saying the last words.

“Little Muria, as your merciful mother, I did leave you a chance.

I can’t get back what I lost, but everything you lose, you can get them back if you wish.

How does that make you feel?”

Looking at the wrathful Muria, Golden Dragon Mother left the Titan Clan Lands calmly, striding into the spatial rift.

“Wow!” After the spatial rift sealed and the back of Golden Dragon Mother completely disappeared, Muria completely broke free from his restraints and regained his ability to act.

His face was ashen as he stared at where Golden Dragon Mother had disappeared, then looked around the empty courtyard, feeling the loneliness. The soft wind blew by, all was quiet, without a sound.

Usually, no matter when, he could always hear some subtle dragon roars, as giant dragons were a creature full of energy. Now, all the noises had disappeared, he would no longer hear the roar of a dragon here.

“Muria.” A gentle call echoed by his ear.

“Cassio.” Muria’s golden pupils shone, thunder exploded, and flames roared. He glared at the spirit, “Why did you betray me? If you hadn’t informed, my dragons wouldn’t have…”

“Even if I didn’t let it out, all giant dragons would still be banished by Archmage Atris. It was already a sure thing.” Cassio looked at Muria steadily.

“Ten days before you came back, your mother, Archmage Atris, came here. She tested the spell ability of every giant dragon you raised, and then, she decided on what happened today.

She once said, even the Legendary Metal can’t become a Legendary Weapon without being tempered and forged.

Now, you and the giant dragons you raised have come to the time to be tempered by this world.”

“Was the last sentence also said by my mother?” Muria glared at Cassio.

“That’s my view, master.” Cassio slightly bowed to Muria.

“My original plan was to leave the Titan Clan Lands and travel around the world after becoming an adult.” Muria raised his palm and looked at his fair and rosy skin.

“So, you’ve changed your plan, right?”

“Yes, I changed it, just now.” Muria chuckled, he had understood that the so-called punishment was only an excuse. Golden Dragon Mother surely knew that he would find his banished dragons one by one.

“My mother was indeed kind enough to give me a chance to regain my dragon swarm.”

“I believe I can provide some help.” Cassio spread his hand, and numerous colorful scales flew to Muria.

“These are the scales fallen off from the giant dragons when they were living here.” Cassio looked at Muria, “It should help a little in getting the giant dragons back.”

“You collected them?”

“Yes!”

“Good, with these, it’s only a matter of time before I find them.” Muria took all the dragon scales. As a (half-baked) mage, as long as he had enough body tissues of the object he was looking for, for instance, scales, hair, blood, finding a dragon would be a very simple matter.

“Are you going to leave now?”

“No, I need to make some preparations.” Muria thought for a while, decided to bid farewell to some friends he knew in the Titan Clan Lands, and then start his journey to find the dragons.

“Oh, by the way, please let whichever lord know, we need to strengthen the space in our clan land, so that it can’t be broken through easily.” Muria seemed to remember something and suddenly told Cassio.
