King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 161 - 161 156 Exile (Part 2)
Chapter 161: Chapter 156: Exile (Part 2) Chapter 161: Chapter 156: Exile (Part 2) “Absolutely nothing left?” The Golden Dragon Mother questioned Muria grudgingly, “Are you telling me you used them all up?”
“This is all that’s left,” Muria laughed nervously, pointing out the few Extraordinary High-Level Metal Ingots on the table, “The rest is all fused with me now.”
“Little Muria, your greed knows no bounds. Subjecting yourself to such intense pain rather than leaving me a bit!” A look of deep heartache spread across the Golden Dragon Mother’s face, as if Muria had done something unthinkable.
“Uh…” Muria rubbed his nose, stealthily backing away from the emotionally charged Golden Dragon Mother. He wanted to escape.
However, the fact that the Golden Dragon Mother just reached out and caught him put a harsh light on the stark difference in their powers. He couldn’t possibly run away. His only chance was to rely on wit.
“I’m really sad right now.” A look of sorrow filled the Golden Dragon Mother’s face as she looked at Muria, were those tears forming in her eyes?!
Seeing the dark shadow of impending tears on the Golden Dragon Mother’s countenance bewildered Muria. She was over two hundred years old dragon, crying at the drop of a hat? Really?
“Mother, you…” Muria was at a loss for what to do. The heartache on Golden Dragon Mother’s face did not seem feigned. She seemed genuinely sorrowful, and it was about to make her cry. After all, her loss was heavy indeed.
Muria had raided all legendary metal from her treasure vault, took all the treasures from the corridor of her castle, especially the ones suspect to be mixed with legendary metal – the better portion. Everything now belonged to him.
Moreover, after merging with Muria, all these metals were unlikely to be retrieved. To claim these legendary metal-imbued weapons, you’d have to kill Muria. Otherwise, these weapons were his forever.
But how could the Golden Dragon Mother bear to harm Muria? Her affection for Muria crosses the line of a dragon’s natural instincts. She intentionally let Muria pick what he needed from her treasure vault. It was all her doing.
The crux of the matter was that the Golden Dragon Mother might’ve played things a bit too lightly. She underestimated both Muria’s dragon-like greed and his strong willpower. Muria braced himself and endured the excruciating pain of getting his soul shredded ten times over.
Normally, Titans are not willing to have their souls torn apart a second time after the harrowing experience once. That’s why many Titans only have a single exclusive weapon. They suffice but the crafting process is painful.
“Little Muria, do you now realize your mistake?” With teary eyes, the Golden Dragon Mother asked Muria.
“Ah,” Muria paused and hesitated, then reluctantly admitted his mistake, hoping the Golden Dragon Mother would let him off the hook. But was an apology and a gesture of submission too much to do?
“I know I’m wrong. Mother, I promise not to do this again next time.”
“Little Muria, do you truly admit your mistake?” At the moment of Muria’s apology, the tears in the Golden Dragon Mother’s eyes disappeared instantly. Her entire demeanor shifted, her expression solemn with a mysterious authority.
“Yes!” Muria nodded, looking puzzled and apprehensive.
“If you’ve done wrong, you must accept punishment. Isn’t that right?”
“…Yes!” Muria stared at the Golden Dragon Mother, a sense of impending disaster creeping up inside him.
“Little Muria, you stole most of the treasures and legendary metals I’ve painstakingly collected. You’ve taken away the fruits of my labor from half my life. As punishment, I’ll make you suffer the same pain as I did. Any objections?”
“Mother, what are you trying to do?” Muria’s face paled. He thought back to when he just entered here, the silent mountains, and the disappeared dragon horde.
“Hehe!” The Golden Dragon Mother chuckled lightly, a space portal opened behind her, and one after another, familiar Five Colored Dragons flew out. Their bodies were stiff, just like insects trapped in amber, quietly hanging in the air.
“What is this?” Muria looked at the familiar spirit light enveloping numerous giant dragons. His face stiffened, and at this moment, he finally felt that something was wrong.
“Dragon Paralysis Technique,” the Golden Dragon Mother shook her head somewhat proudly. “I developed five different immobilization spells for the Five Colored Dragons. It seems they worked pretty well. Little Muria, would you like to learn?”
“…” Muria silently stared at nearly a hundred Five Colored Dragons hanging in the air, without answering the Golden Dragon Mother.
“Ohh, Little Muria, it seems you really care about these Five Colored Dragons. It looks like I made the right choice.” The Golden Dragon Mother gave a triumphant smile, “Each dragon here has a stronger physique than those wastes outside and, moreover, each of them possesses a rich number of spells.
To cultivate one hundred one evil dragons into mage dragons, you must have spent a lot of time and energy, Little Muria, didn’t you?
What a pity though, you’re about to say goodbye to these little dragons you’ve worked so laboriously to cultivate.”
Along with Golden Dragon Mother’s words, twelve space rifts appeared behind her, then rapidly spread and expanded, forming twelve stable space gates.
Through these twelve spaces, Muria saw twelve different sceneries; the lush Vast Wild Forest, the icy Silent Desert, the plant-sparse hilly landscape, the boned-covered Desolate Plain…
“These twelve space gates each connect to different regions, or more accurately, they each connect to twelve subcontinents in Elasia.”
“Mother, please don’t do this!” Seeing these twelve space gates, Muria obviously knew the kind of punishment that the Golden Dragon Mother planned to inflict upon him—it wasn’t punishment at all, it was naked revenge.
“Little Muria, you just stay there quietly and watch!” Just as Muria was about to rush forward to do something, the Golden Dragon Mother stretched out her jade-like finger and gently pointed towards Muria. A ray of spirit light entered his body.
Then, Muria was treated the same as the giant dragons hanging in the air. Other than his eyes still being able to move, other parts of his body, even his fingers, couldn’t budge at all.
“Keep your eyes wide open and watch carefully!”
The Golden Dragon Mother reached out with a slight grip, a huge elemental hand formed in the air correspondingly. Then, it grabbed a fierce-looking Red Dragon, under Muria’s angry gaze, and directly threw it into a space gate…
“Hmm, that’s the look I want.” Seeing Muria’s pupils burning with Dragon Flames, the Golden Dragon Mother was enjoying herself, she laughingly grabbed the Five Colored Dragons, that she had immobilised and incapable of moving, and one by one she threw them into the twelve space gates.
Watching this scene, Muria was filled with rage and heartache to the point of bleeding, he even found it hard to breathe. These were supposed to be his future companions, but now they all got banished to other subcontinents by the Golden Dragon Mother.
