King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 155 - 155 150 Nine Kings (Six)

Chapter 155: Chapter 150 Nine Kings (Six) Chapter 155: Chapter 150 Nine Kings (Six) Muria frowned at the nine weapons fluctuating in the Eternal Flame, or more accurately, the embryos of the nine weapons, after the first weapon – the Square Heaven Halberd – had taken shape.

Hephaestus separated all the Legendary Metals and according to the proportions of his specific legendary alloy recipes, and Muria’s needs, successively forged the embryos of eight weapons.

“Something is missing!” Muria carefully sensed the connection between himself and these nine gradually forming weapons. Doubts and dissatisfaction rose in his heart. The relationship between the Titan’s Weapons and him was not as simple as this.

Heloise, the Titan girl, went straight to the Void Forging Palace to forge her Exclusive Weapon after receiving sufficient Legendary Metal from her father, Ansol.

It was a hefty Axe Spear, Muria saw Heloise use it, and indeed it was as natural as a finger pointing. It was not just a figure of speech.

When she held the Axe Spear, chopping a regular Soul Intent Level demon was as easy as chopping melon and slicing vegetables.

That Axe Spear gave Muria a feeling as if it were a living being with its own will.

In contrast, the nine embryos in front of him, perhaps superior in material due to being made from Legendary Alloys, could not compare to Heloise’s Axe Spear, Muria felt.

His weapons were lacking a certain kind of spirit, like a bedridden vegetative person. Alive, but without thoughts or will.

“Good, you actually sensed it.” With a slightly surprised tone, the voice of the Void Spirit came from all directions. “You lack the final step. Only after incorporating something else will your Exclusive Weapon truly take shape.”

“What thing?”

“Your soul! Or, more accurately, a fragment of your soul.”

“I see!” Muria pursed his lips, “So, in the last step, I have to tear my soul apart?”

“No, I’ll be responsible for tearing your soul. What you need to do is endure the pain of your soul being torn apart.”

“How painful is it?”

“Experience it once, and you wouldn’t want to experience it a second time.”

“…” Muria fell silent.

“Young Titan, have you really decided to forge nine weapons? Nine weapons mean that I have to tear nine pieces from your soul.”

“Can they be torn off all at once?” Muria didn’t know how torturous the pain of soul-tearing was, but through the tone of the Void Spirit, he could infer that the pain of the soul was far greater than that of the body.

“Sadly, for the sake of your life, they cannot.”

“Why not?”

“Tearing too many at once, I’m afraid your soul may collapse. Therefore, they can only be done in nine times, giving you some buffering time.”

“Okay, I understand now. Go ahead!” Muria nodded, spread his arms, looked up at the ceiling of the Weapon Casting Hall, and said, “Hephaestus, bind me up, in a way that I can’t break free.”

“What are you trying to do?”

“Ripping apart the soul, it should be very painful. I’m afraid that I may not be able to endure it and would beg pathetically for mercy, giving up on forging my weapon. So, I want to ask you something. Trap me and then shred my soul. Don’t set me free until I have successfully forged my weapon.”

“…” Silence prevailed, even the Void Spirit Hephaestus seemed taken aback by Muria’s request. However, after a pause, an approving sigh echoed, “A youthful Titan, as you wish!”

“Clinking!” Chains swayed, and luminescent chains sprouted from all sides, wrapping around Muria, binding him securely.

“Clinking!” Muria, bound in cross patterns, was lifted mid-air by the chains of light, suspended above the altar. Then, Void Spirit Hephaestus materialized in front of Muria, although its form appeared hazy, ready to disappear in the wind at any moment.

As soon as the Void Spirit manifested, it did not hesitate but reached towards Muria’s chest. His ethereal arm went halfway into Muria’s chest, grabbed something, and then pulled.

“Roar!” Veins popped out on the face of Muria in his Titan Form, but his movement was restricted by the chains of light. There was nothing he could do, nor could he express his pain through body language.

“First time!” Hephaestus observed the soul fragment in his hand, which was shimmered with a five-colored spirit light. He frowned slightly, then threw it into the Eternal Flame to be infused into the Square Heaven Halberd.

“Your soul is somewhat unusual!”

The Void Spirit watched as the Titan, teeth gritted tightly, an originally handsome face twisted into a grimace, “Its denser than other Titans of your age. Hence, when your soul is ripped apart, you’ll endure more pain.

Young Titan, there is no other living being here, you don’t have to endure so painfully. You can scream, vent your agony. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. After all, I’m just a Void Spirit that no Titan would pay heed to.”

“After other Titans had their souls ripped apart by you, did they scream too?” Muria sneered, his white teeth stained with a faint golden blood.

“Yes!” Hephaestus confirmed.

…All the array patterns inscribed on the Metal Floating Island where Void Forging Palace was located lit up. Their devouring power emitted into the endless void increased, attracting countless Void Turbulences. They turned into streaks of flowing light that were absorbed into the Weapon Casting Hall.

Once the Metal Floating Island activated, the already numerous streaks of light became even denser. In the end, these lights formed a multi-colored curtain of light on the surface of the island.

Then, above the Void Forging Palace, the curtain of light collapsed inwards, flowed into the Pyramid, got purified further, and then fell into the Eternal Flame on the altar.

At this moment,

“Roar!”… A dull roar echoed continuously from within the silver Void Forging Palace. The one making the sound, seemed to be enduring an unspeakable agony, desperately holding it in, but ultimately couldn’t help releasing it.

“Ninth time!” The transparent Void Spirit pulled his hand out of Muria. In his hand was a sphere radiating a five-colored light. This was the piece he had torn from Muria’s soul for the ninth time.

“Uhm!” Muria, who was already nearly unconscious from the pain, heard the number nine. He reluctantly lifted his eyelids and looked at the Void Spirit in front of him, looking through its transparent body to the faint golden Eternal Flame.

Inside the flames, eight weapons trembled in excitement. They fluttered in the Saintly Imperial Abyss’s flame, actively absorbing ancient god runes as they formed. Only one chain, shimmering with hazy starlight, floated indifferently in the flames, lightly vibrating as if filled with envy and desire.

“Heh!” The Void Spirit chuckled, throwing the five-colored radiant soul fragment into the Eternal Flame, and directly onto the chain.

It melded flawlessly, without any obstruction. Muria’s soul fragment merged into this chain that appeared to encapsulate a radiant star river.

“Clinking!” The final touch, like the last stroke in a painting, brought the starlight chain to life. The sound of metal friction echoed, an aura of restriction spread, causing nearby weapons to momentarily freeze. It, like the rest of the weapons, began to wander the flames, absorbing the newly formed Ancient God Runes.
