King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 154 - 154 149 Nine Kings (Part 5)

Chapter 154: Chapter 149: Nine Kings (Part 5) Chapter 154: Chapter 149: Nine Kings (Part 5) Blood dripped down, soaking the grandiose altar that stood like a mountain completely in Muria’s blood. On it, all the spirit runes had taken on the color of Muria’s blood, and the Eternal Flame on the ninth level of the altar had turned a faint gold,

Within the flames, the Legendary Metal melted continuously, slowly undergoing a wonderful transformation. It radiated a brilliant spirit light, shrinking and expanding as if it had its own life, breathing in and out.

“Is it enough now?” Muria stared at the Eternal Flame in front of him, which had been altered in color and aura by his blood, with a pale face. There were no wounds on his body, but under his feet, nineteen golden Soul Intent Circles rotated slowly.

“Almost.”

“After I leave, I’ll ask other Titans about their weapon forging process,” Muria declared bitterly. “If it’s different from mine, when I become a Legend, I will come back and tear you down.”

Don’t ask why he despised the Void Spirit so much. Anyone who had undergone more than twenty “torture” experiences in such a short time would go mad. Muria didn’t even know how he had managed to withstand it.

“Heh, who asked for your strong healing abilities? Every time I inflict so many wounds on you, your blood doesn’t flow out much before you’ve nearly healed,” Hephaestus joked.

“How is that my fault?” Muria wryly pulled at the corner of his mouth. Was having a strong physique also a mistake?

“By the way, young Titan, to demolish me, Legendary power is not enough. Only the strength of an Epic Titan can do this. You are still far away from that.”

“Hmph, I will become an Epic.”

“Oh, then I look forward to that. Now, envision the form of the weapon you want to forge in your mind.”

Following Hephaestus’s voice, the blood-soaked, golden altar shone brightly, and Muria felt a faint connection forming between himself and the altar.

“At this time…” Muria furrowed his eyebrows slightly but still did as the Void Spirit suggested, one by one imagining the appearance of the weapon he wanted to forge in his mind.

“This… is really interesting.” As Muria was envisioning, Hephaestus seemed to catch a glimpse of the weapon he was thinking of.

“These few weapons are all good, but, a bow! As a Titan, you actually use this kind of weapon?”

“What’s wrong with a bow?” Muria scoffed lightly. In his previous life’s mythologies, there was a renowned warrior who had used a big bow to consecutively shoot and kill nine sons of the Sky Emperor.

“There’s nothing wrong with you using a bow, but, you can’t forge a bow with just Legendary Metal.”

“I know.” Muria took out a bundle of brutal, wild “strings” that exuded a fierce aura from the Space Ring. “Materials, I prepared them a long time ago.”

“The tendons of a Nine-Headed Dragon, and it’s even high-level Legendary. Tsk, you must have stolen your parents’ collection, right? Otherwise, where could a little Titan of the Soul Intent level get this kind of thing?”

“None of your business!” Muria’s face darkened as he shook the half-transparent snake tendons in his hand, “Rather, you should tell me how you plan to string my longbow.”

“Throw it in!”

“Are you joking? This is a tendon, not a metal.”

“Throw it in!” Hephaestus repeated, with a tone that brooked no argument, “I have been in charge of the Weapon Casting Hall for three hundred thousand years, I know better than you how to forge weapons!”

When it got to this point, what more could Muria say? He threw the tendon he was holding into the Eternal Flame.

The flame flickered and the scene Muria was worried about did not occur. In the flames, the snake tendons showed no signs of damage. On the contrary, much like the Legendary Metal, they emanated a fresh vitality and underwent a strange change.

“I’m about to begin, young Titan, keep your eyes open and pay attention. Don’t miss any details.”

With the final word from the Spirit of the Void, Muria felt a gentle tremble under his feet at the altar. No, that wasn’t right; it wasn’t the altar shaking, but the entire Weapon Casting Hall. Even more astonishingly, the whole Metal Floating Island upon which the Weapon Casting Hall was situated, was shaking.

With this tremor, a change imperceptible to Muria occurred. He didn’t know what the Weapon Casting Hall had activated, but it had certainly triggered some tremendous function.

The reason being, the waterfall of flowing light pouring into the Eternal Marking Flame had instantly changed into a robust pillar of light. The vast energy of the sea surged into the Eternal Flame, causing fluctuations that made Muria’s body tremble, even more so, this robust pillar of light was gradually expanding.

However, despite the influx of such terrifying energy, the Eternal Flame absorbed everything without missing a single bit, and its appearance didn’t change much, except for its oscillating frequency slightly increasing.

“Hmm, there are other changes!” Muria looked at the faint golden Eternal Flame, her eyebrows raised. He noted within the flames, mysterious and ancient runes appearing, which carried an aura of primal majesty. These runes then branded themselves one by one onto the molten legendary metal.

“This is…” Muria gazed with dazzling golden eyes, observing these runes closely, trying to figure out what they represented. “The most ancient language, Ancient Divine Text.”

This was a language created by the Ancient Gods that coexisted with the birth of the world. Each character in it represented a law and contained tremendous power. All the languages and corresponding runes of different races in Elasia have evolved from it.

However, Muria hadn’t learned this language because it was too difficult. It was far beyond what a young Titan of his age should be dealing with. This was a language for deities and epics to communicate — it was not suitable for him at this stage.

Previously, when Michaela left behind four Ancient Divine Texts in that thick Sunflame Golden War-Book, they were just semblances without essence. The Blazing Sky Girl also didn’t grasp the core knowledge. However, even so, it left Muria astonished and deeply impressed.

“Don’t be distracted.” A rebuking voice sounded beside Muria’s ear, drawing his attention back to the Eternal Flame before him.

As Muria watched intently, the molten legendary metals within the flame began to fuse according to their types — Thundering Purple Gold, Hurricane Green Gold, Sunflame Gold… The previously fragmented legendary metals started to merge. Muria quietly watched everything unfold.

All the legendary metals combined according to their types. During this process, the ancient divine characters constantly surfaced in the flame and then branded themselves onto the legendary metal.

The legendary metal with one ancient divine text after another inscribed on it underwent an even stranger transformation. Spirit light erupted from each united piece of metal, covering their original appearance.

Muria could no longer see the legendary metals’ form. To his eyes, he could only see radiant spirit lights of various colors, resembling “little suns,” fluctuating within the Eternal Flame.

Although Muria could not see them, he felt a faint connection established between him and the metals within the flame. It was as though the legendary metals had become a part of him.

However, this connection was too vague. Muria could not control these metals yet. (To put it in terms of description, to Muria now, these legendary metals were like the broken limbs of a normal person.)

“It’s time to cast the weapon!”

Under Muria’s gaze, each “little sun” separated out a part of their mass, differing in size, and then proceeded to combine… In this world, is there any better metal than the legendary metal?

Undoubtedly, such a metal exists.

What is it?

The answer is simple – it is the legendary composite metal formed by fusing two or more types of legendary metals. However, the precondition is that you must possess the recipe for this legendary alloy. It can’t just be blended any which way you want.

Muria watched within the faint golden Eternal Flame as over ten types of legendary metal blended together in proportions he did not understand, and then began to gradually extend.

When a familiar double crescent blade appeared at one end, Muria immediately recognized the type of weapon being formed.

“Square Heaven Halberd!”
