King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 145 - 145 140 Nameless

Chapter 145: Chapter 140 Nameless Chapter 145: Chapter 140 Nameless “Buzz!” From within the colossal teleportation array, Muria staggered out. His face was marked with spots of blood, and several parts of his body were visibly distorted and dented from his injuries.

“How do you feel?” Cassio asked Muria, who looked rather disheveled. She had anticipated this outcome when Muria had agreed to take on all challenge requests.

“Thrilling!” Muria flashed a grin, revealing his white teeth stained with light golden blood. The sight was quite eye-catching.

“Three Titan soul intents at the fifth level, two Titans at the fourth level, four ferocious beasts with legendary bloodlines at the bloodline soul intent fifth level, one fourth-level ferocious beast… Although all were suppressed to the first-level soul intent, I’m surprised you manage to withstand them like this,” Cassio appraised.

“Humph!” Muria chuckled proudly. Even though he looked battered after the ten high-intensity battles right after he broke through his soul intent, the results were astonishing.

Out of the ten battles, Muria didn’t lose a single one; all ended in a draw. Considering his opponents were on the verge of breaking through to legend status, and even though most of their power had been suppressed, their battle experience and formidable bodies were impossible to hold back. That’s why Muria ended up looking so ragged.

“You sure were quick!” Muria said, standing by the Pool of Life. When he woke up, he remembered that the pool’s water had nearly turned into transparent, colorless liquid, and the bottom was filled with several meters of discarded crystals, all of their elemental power consumed.

But now, all those discarded crystals had been cleared away, and the water of the pool, entirely drained of life essence by Muria, had been replaced with a vibrant pool shimmering with jade-coloured spirit light.

“This pool water…” Muria glanced at the hazy jade-green spirit light of the pool. “It seems different from before.”

“I added a few drops of tree sap from the Eternal Life Tree.”

“Splash!” Upon hearing Cassio’s words, Muria dove into the pool without a word. The pool water, illuminated with a green spirit light, splashed up several meters high before swallowing Muria’s body.

“Gurgle, gurgle!” An ice-cold yet scorching sensation spread from every inch of his body, gradually seeping into him. It accelerated the healing of his injuries, filling him with intense comfort, which made him involuntarily open his mouth underwater, blowing out a stream of bubbles.

“I’m so disappointed in you guys.” Muria stood on top of the mountain, overlooking the dragons below with a pained expression. “Not one of you completed the homework I assigned.”

“Who knew you’d wake up so soon?” Mumbled a dragon from below.

“Yeah, last time you slept for five years before waking up. It’s only been a year this time. Who would have expected you to be up so soon?” A rather plucky dragon echoed in a low voice.

Muria’s expression turned cold when he heard their whispers, “Don’t make excuses. You didn’t do the homework because you were lazy. Now behave.”

His faint golden Dragon Prestige spread out, causing all the Five Colored Dragons to bow their heads in silence.

“Same rules as always. Those who didn’t complete their homework, pay the fine and step aside. Everyone else, come here.”

Upon hearing Muria’s declaration, there was a brief commotion amongst the dragon crowd, but they quickly quieted down. Many dragons exchanged glances and then reluctantly produced an elemental crystal, placed it on the ground, and obediently moved away from their original spots.

Only around twenty dragons remain still, not budging. However, most of them were constantly darting anxious looks at their surroundings.

“Not too bad, although I don’t know how many of you are just trying to bluff your way through.” Muria sneered at the remaining dragons. “Form a line, then come one at a time to show me the magic you just learned.”

At Muria’s command, the dragons jostled each other around before eventually forming a line for inspection.

Ever since the Five Colored Dragons had acquired their private dragon treasure, Muria had implemented a new rule. Those who completed their homework on time would be rewarded with an elemental crystal, as before.

For those who didn’t complete their homework on time, they had to pay a fine of one elemental crystal a day until the day they completed the task.

The rule was a direct exploitation of the dragons’ natural greed, forcing them to study hard in order to protect their treasures.

“This spell was what you were supposed to learn last time.” Staring at a green dragon, Muria said emotionlessly.

“Muria, I…”

“Double the fine. No arguments.” Feeling a sense of helplessness, Muria looked at the green dragon who was trying to pass off his previous achievement as his current homework. This kind of dragon always appeared at every homework inspection. Were they questioning his superior hybrid memory!?

The green dragon looked up at the majestic Titan in front of him and gritted his teeth. He fished two elemental crystals from his scales and placed them before Muria before slumping off with a dejected look, watching as the other dragons underwent Muria’s inspection.

“Next.” Muria called after the two elemental crystals at his feet vanished without a sound, turning his gaze towards a black dragon squatting nervously nearby.

“I’m exhausted!” Muria sighed as dusk fell. Watching the dragons fly down the mountain, one by one, to return to their respective palaces, he returned to the courtyard with the three Red Dragon Triplets, who also had to pay their fines.

In the courtyard, he immediately noticed Clodia, the white-haired young girl, engrossed in her book.

“If only all the dragons were like Clodia.” Muria sighed yet again. For Clodia, he hadn’t assigned any homework. There was no need.

“The three of you, go to your spell books now.” Muria instructed the three red-scaled little dragon girls who were following him. “How much longer do you plan to pay fines?”

Once the girls, now in human form, obediently ran into the stone palace and sat next to Clodia to read, Muria stood in thought for a moment before walking into one of the great halls in the courtyard.

Muria pushed open the heavy stone doors and walked into the hall. Underneath his feet, radiant array patterns were flickering, showing that this place had the strictest defense in his living quarters.

Four stone platforms were placed at the center of the hall in a square formation. Muria stood at the middle, carefully admiring the four legendary metals on the platforms—Fine Gold, Sunflame Gold, Thundering Purple Gold, and Hurricane Green Gold.

All four metals were gifts from the Abyss Lord Ulysses, each enough to forge a legendary weapon suitable for an adult Titan.

From the Fine Gold mine gifted to him by Ulysses, the fine gold had already been extracted.
