Chapter 1422 - 1422 1381 Can You Have Some Shame
Chapter 1422: Chapter 1381: Can You Have Some Shame? Chapter 1422: Chapter 1381: Can You Have Some Shame? “What a powerful monster!”
In the Divine Kingdom, where Thunder surged, a deity who had just lost an avatar muttered quietly, reminiscing about everything that had just happened and meticulously analyzing every detail of the battle, finally shaking His head helplessly.
Because the ultimate outcome He deduced in His mind was that, without external intervention, He and two other Divine Incarnation allies, no matter what, could not defeat that terrible monster.
Such a realization extinguished His thoughts of seeking revenge on His own and instead, He thought of seeking help from His principal god, which He then did.
“Remilia, where shall we go next?”
Yingdila, who had just crushed three Divine Incarnations, showed no concern for her recent feats that were biography-worthy, instead eagerly inquiring about how to satiate her hunger.
“Aren’t you full yet? Continuing like this could be troublesome.”
Hearing her companion’s inquiry, Remilia, slightly distressed, rubbed her hair. Small skirmishes calling forth bigger ones was not uncommon among mortals, and similarly among deities.
“What trouble?” Yingdila asked nonchalantly, not seeing any problems with her actions.
She abided by the most basic law of the jungle, survival of the fittest, and here she found no “strong prey” to fear, thus she had discarded the caution and forbearance she had developed in Elasia.
“Just like just now.”
“That’s trouble?” Yingdila replied, surprised. To her, the recent battle was akin to a post-meal walk to aid digestion, “If that counts, then let’s continue eating!”
“Of course not, Xiao Ying, can you please use your brain for a moment? Don’t just rely on brute strength. The next ones to look for trouble will definitely be stronger than the last three, maybe even on par with Muria!”
“Muria, huh!”
Yingdila dragged out the name, considering Muria a benchmark for crafting her Primitive Form and still somewhat wary of her.
Yet, what she feared more were the ancient beings standing behind Muria, no longer conquerable by her distorted talent.
Knowing that if she caused too much chaos she could be instantly squashed by those ancient beings, she had behaved so docilely in the Erathia Great World.
“That’s fine, even if we can’t beat them, we can still run away.” After barely a second of thought, Yingdila made up her mind. Having held back for so long and finally getting a chance to let loose, how could she simply give up?
“If that’s what you say, then let’s continue.”
Seeing her companion insist, Remilia naturally no longer opposed and decided to risk her life alongside her best friend and gave incorrect coordinates!
After all, when things got too tough, she could simply blow up her avatar to prevent those beings from tracing back to her other avatars, placed safely elsewhere, giving her time to recover as a formidable ‘Blood Princess’ once again.
“Alrighty!”
Having received the coordinates, Yingdila, bursting with excitement, tore through space with her massive body and slipped inside. When an invisible barrier appeared before her, she didn’t think twice and charged straight into it.
Boom—
With a loud crash, the peaceful atmosphere of Divine Kingdom was shattered. A monster capable of consuming worlds and devouring deities broke in, and dozens of greedy eyes searched around for suitable food.
“You… dare to invade my Divine Kingdom?”
As the tranquility was disrupted, the divine entity guarding the Divine Kingdom was instantly alerted, rising up with a colossal form a thousand meters tall, a pair of flaming divine eyes focusing on the unwelcome intruders.
“Why not, when it’s not our first time?”
Seeing this deity whom she had previously confronted on the battlefields of many domains, Remilia smirked disdainfully.
Battling against Divine Incarnations was routine for her, a common strategy for two vast theological factions already at war.
“So, Ezra Bagridge has already fallen to your hands?”
“Just finished him; he tasted quite nice. Though, I wonder how you’ll taste?”
Yingdila responded at that moment, her dozen heads fixated on the radiant deity before her, her greed unmasked, and she bore an audacious demeanor.
“You ugly monster, to think of devouring me!”
In that moment, the deity, well aware of His slim chances against this monster, did not show a hint of fear or submission but rather fully displayed the pride typical of divine beings.
“Do you think you’re worthy?”
“I hope you can maintain that expression when I tear your body to shreds later.”
Yingdila no longer deigned to engage in such meaningless disputes with the Deity before him. Talking a hundred times was not as effective as taking action once.
“Hmph!”
The Deity donned his Divine Artifact armor and scoffed, but before he could finish, Yingdila charged at him, his massive body slamming into the Deity’s, knocking his mountain-like form to the Land of the Gods.
The earth roared as, in that moment, tens of thousands of worshipers summoned by the Deity were crushed to death by the impact.
Wars among Deities, with armies of worshipers born of their followers’ souls, were truly hard to influence. They could only use their vast numbers to slightly sway the attention or attacks of such beings, and that was considered a great success.
Chains of Law, Shackles of Order. Deities of the Sun God lineage exhausted all their methods, maximizing their geographical advantage within the Divine Kingdom.
Yet even so, the Deity helplessly found that this couldn’t stop the monster from rampaging and wreaking havoc in his Divine Kingdom.
“What is this thing!”
Golden Divine Blood spurted from the shattered parts of his body, and the Deity looked at his arm, now reduced to a stump, with a mixture of shock and rage. The battle had barely begun, yet one of his arms had already been devoured by the monster opposing him.
“The taste is not bad, just a bit tough.”
Yingdila chewed on the Deity’s arm, crushing not only the tough bones but the armor that covered them as well.
“Indeed very strong, I’m certainly no match for you.”
Seeing such provocation, the Deity, after an initial burst of rage, gradually calmed down. There were many invincible beings in this world, and the one before him was merely one of them.
If he remained vexed by defeat and failure to prevail, he would have no need to concern himself with other matters, spending his days in sullen anger instead.
“Hmm?”
Remilia, standing on the back of Yingdila, sensed something amiss in the attitude of the swiftly regenerating Deity before her and immediately heightened her alertness.
“However, it’s a pity, I can’t suppress you, but I can find an existence who can.”
Without giving Remilia and Yingdila any time to react, a pillar of Crimson Gold Flames descended from beyond the Divine Kingdom, engulfing Remilia’s form and enveloping most of Yingdila’s massive body.
Roar!
In the flames that bore the majesty of the sun, Yingdila twisted and screamed in agony. The flames destroyed flesh and eroded the soul, causing her immense pain.
“Hades has such bizarre creatures under his command, truly not to be underestimated.”
The Sky Dome slowly cracked open, golden Divine Light poured through, and a regal Deity of the Sun slowly descended. The master of the Divine Kingdom approached, bowing deeply before this being, the epitome of humility.
“Your Highness!”
“Are you alright?” The Sun God’s gaze swept over the chaotic remains of his subordinate god’s Divine Kingdom.
“Your Majesty, you arrived just in time. I’m all right.” Gratitude washed over the Deity’s face, profoundly touched by the Sun God’s concern for him.
“Still, I came a bit late. If I had arrived earlier, you wouldn’t have suffered these losses.”
The Sun God, looking at the shocking destruction of his subordinate, felt a chill—he knew the centuries of accumulation were gone in an instant. Restoring it to its former state would take another millennium without significant effort.
“This monster came too quickly.”
“Since it’s my fault that you’ve faced this calamity, I will compensate you for all your losses.”
After some thought, the Sun God decided to sacrifice some of his benefits to placate his subordinate god and show his other subordinate gods.
“Thank you, Your Highness!”
“I’m not dead yet!”
A furious roar erupted in the Divine Kingdom; scales were burnt through, flesh was incinerated, and only white bones remained as Yingdila roared, her seventy-five heads, blazing with the flames of the Sun God, snapping at both the Sun God and his subordinate god.
“What resilient life force, even burning to this extent and still having the strength to resist, but it’s a pity.”
The majestic Deity gently pointed, and the ferocious Giant Beast was instantly frozen in the air, unable to move.
“You are a creature truly wasted under Hades. What about joining me? I can grant you true godhood and give you even greater power.”
“Sun God, have some decency, will you? It’s bad enough that you bully the weak, but to poach from me as well.”
The white Sword’s edge cleaved all, tearing through the barriers of the Divine Kingdom once more, in his hands wielding the sword, behind him divine discussions whirling, the Deity slowly appeared…
