King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1421 - 1421 1380 Sweeping_2

Chapter 1421: Chapter 1380: Sweeping_2 Chapter 1421: Chapter 1380: Sweeping_2 Then the entire Divine Kingdom collapsed, but before its fragmented remnants had a chance to fall, a monstrous creature tore and shattered them all, swallowing the debris into its belly.

Such a scene immediately shocked the few deities who had rushed over following the tumultuous waves of the Divine Kingdom’s shattering.

“What kind of monster is this?”

A deity surrounded by frost and snow watched Yingdila, exuding an overwhelming ferocity, with some trembling in their heart. They couldn’t sense any familiar divine aura from any god they knew.

In short, unless there was an accident, their old friend must have fallen into eternal sleep. For deities, this was the most terrifying thing, because the probability of returning from the long river of years was almost zero.

Realizing this, the deity of the law of frost and snow stopped in their tracks. Although only an Avatar had arrived, even if it were lost, it wouldn’t affect their true body too much. However, there was no need to offer themselves up for free.

“Is this a Demonic Offspring?” Another deity, also drawn by the ripples of the Divine Kingdom’s breaking, clad in deep blue divine light, stared at Yingdila with some uncertainty.

They felt threatened by Yingdila, but what made them uncomfortable was that they did not perceive any divine aura that should emanate from Yingdila.

Not a deity, yet able to threaten the existence of gods, this monster could naturally be associated with the vile products of deities’ sins, Demonic Offspring.

“Probably, who knows which one who couldn’t keep their lower half in check created this, damn it!”

The last deity chimed in, immediately concluding that Yingdila was Demonic Offspring and settling the matter of her identity.

Roar! Roar roar!

However, the conversation between them was not discreet enough, and everything was captured by Yingdila, who had just finished her meal. Hearing herself being labeled as Demonic Offspring, the void monster became infuriated.

She felt no connection to such an inferior progeny produced by deities. Thus, without waiting for Remilia’s call, in a fury, and with little regard for the consequences, the monster lashed out toward the Avatars of the deities drawn by the ripples of the Divine Kingdom’s shattering.

“Insolence!”

“Audacity!”

Yingdila taking initiative also enraged the arriving deities. Even though they were aware that this monster might have killed one of their own kind not long ago, when they came together, their confidence in each other was infinitely bolstered.

Thus, a great battle erupted, with brilliant divine light spreading across the highest reaches of the Sky Dome, dazzling in a myriad of colors — a sight to behold. But within this brilliance lurked lethal dangers; any single ray, if it fell upon the earth, could level mountains and evaporate rivers.

And on the ground, the unconscious farmer couple slowly came to their senses, and the woman immediately noticed her husband’s foul-smelling crotch and tried to suppress a laugh.

“…” The farmer looked down at himself, tugging at the corner of his mouth, and chose to say nothing.

His gaze shifted to the distance, focusing on a half-destroyed mountain with clear bite marks, his expression grave.

“Ah!”

The farmer’s wife, initially wanting to laugh at her husband’s embarrassment, also saw the terrifying scene following his gaze and suddenly let out a cry of alarm.

“I thought I was dreaming just now!”

“Of course, it wasn’t a dream! Although I wish all of it was an illusion,” replied the farmer with a complex expression, a golden divine glow shimmering within the depths of his originally brown eyes, radiating a sense of frailty that seemed on the verge of collapse.

“I thought I was having an hallucination a moment ago,” said the wife, still overwhelmed and unaware of the difference in her husband’s tone, continuing to express her amazement.

“What on earth happened to cause such a terrifying event?”

“A Deity has fallen.” Seemingly resigned but still reluctant, the Farmer casually addressed the question from the ignorant Mortals nearby. He lifted his head, gazing intently at the inconspicuous yet splendid light in the sky.

“What nonsense are you spouting? How can a Deity possibly fall? Be careful or the knights will catch you and make you toil for a lifetime as penance.”

The woman chided her husband for speaking such blasphemous words, yet her expression held little reproof, “It’s alright to talk like this in front of me, but don’t spout such nonsense in front of others. If someone heard you, you’d be in big trouble.”

“Ha!”

The Farmer, whose eyes were filled with Divine Glory, shook his head, no longer wanting to say more. After all, beings from different worlds, even if intersected by accident, will eventually drift apart, each walking a path that never crosses the other.

“Don’t take this lightly. Haven’t there been enough people who’ve suffered for insulting the Deities?”

The wife continued to admonish him, then picked up the farming tools while beckoning her husband, urging him to join her in their work,

“Enough with the staring. What’s so fascinating about the sky? Come and help me, or we’ll all go hungry this year. Don’t forget our grandson is growing.”

“Can’t you see it?”

Hearing the nagging of the woman at his side, the Farmer frowned, then his expression gradually softened.

In his eyes filled with various Divine Lights, the endlessly dazzling sky was just ordinary to Mortals who couldn’t see the brilliance of the Deities clashing; the ripples from their combat passed them by and were dismissed as mere natural phenomena.

Seeing that the woman was about to continue her clamor, the Farmer raised his hand and placed it on her shoulder, and the woman urging her husband to work was stunned. She looked up at the brilliant light in the sky and felt an indescribable thrill in her heart.

“This is what I see,” the Farmer said in a detached tone.

“No wonder it’s so beautiful. It’s a shame it’s daytime; it would be even more stunning at night.”

Regaining her senses from the astonishing sight in the sky, the woman expressed her sincere wonder, but this comment made the Farmer almost laugh and cry.

The aftermath of a fight between Deities only elicited a comment about beauty? Indeed, even if Mortals witnessed something, their shallow insight could not comprehend it.

“You think so, right?”

“Yes!” Seeing this ignorant woman seeking his opinion, the being that had taken over her partner’s body could only helplessly play along.

“I hope that Monster is killed… hopefully!”

The fallen Deity within the body of its unknowingly inherited descendant faintly wished, but it quickly reconsidered, “No, it would be better if more Deities were devoured by this Monster. That way, I would have a chance to return to my God Position.”

Shared misery is better than misery alone. If he were the only Deity to fall, his chances of regaining his God Position would be virtually nil, and the Divine power he once held would be divided up by his former master and friends.

But if the other Deities were as unlucky as he, then everyone would be starting from the same line. Even if he could not reclaim his God Position in the future, at least he would have company.

And as if his wishes had been mysteriously answered, the interwoven Divine Lights in the sky suddenly shattered in the next moment. Golden light mixed with crimson, sweeping through everything in the sky. The once resplendent sky turned monotonous in an instant, and gradually returned to its former tranquility.

“So easily defeated, three couldn’t beat one? A bunch of waste.” Although the unfolding events turned out just as he had hoped, it did not stop him from criticizing his former colleagues.
