Chapter 1420: Chapter 1380: Sweeping Through Chapter 1420: Chapter 1380: Sweeping Through “God!”

The farmer cried out upon witnessing the incredible scene before him. A stench filled the air, accompanied by the growing wetness of his involuntary urination, but at this moment, he was too preoccupied to care about his condition. What he loathed, was his inability to faint.

Click!

The sounds of flesh and bones being chewed echoed in the quiet sky. Light gold blood dripped from the monster’s snow-white tooth cracks, making the elongated head of the giant beast appear even more ferocious and terrifying.

It seemed his scream had drawn the attention of the monster peering down from the sky dome. The mentally resilient farmer watched in horror as the dazzling golden pupils of the monster shifted slightly. A tangible gaze settled upon him.

Ugh!

This time, the farmer could no longer hold on. His head tilted slightly, and he completely fainted. After he had lost consciousness, the creature that had peered down no longer bothered with this weak mortal, who, although somewhat special, was not worth her excessive attention.

However, even in unconsciousness, the farmer could still hear the chewing sounds of food. This terrifying sound, echoing like a nightmare by his ear. Fortunately, the sound gradually faded, as if the feeding entity had departed.

Rumble—

Thunder zigzagged among the dark clouds, emitting deafening roars. However, these sounds also dwindled because the entity that triggered the atmospheric disturbance had retracted its head.

“What happened? What did you see down there?”

On the shattered continent riddled with corpses, a monster with nearly a hundred heads lay sprawled at the center of the Divine Kingdom, its many heads chewing on the scattered corpses throughout the Divine Kingdom, casually gnawing at the foundation of the Divine Kingdom as well.

Meanwhile, a few remaining heads pierced through space to retrieve the bodies that had scattered into the Material World due to the recent battle.

The insatiable monster, never knowing the meaning of fullness, possessed endless greed. She did not want to waste any food that could fill her stomach.

On the broad back of this monster, a young girl with a pair of crimson flesh wings softly asked. She had not taken part in the recent God Killing battle. Her attention had been entirely on her companion, and she had noticed something slightly odd about one of the heads that had extended out.

“Nothing much, just saw a mortal who was somewhat special. He could actually resist my divine pressure, so I paid him a little attention,” Yingdila responded while nibbling on the collapsing Divine Kingdom.

“A mortal can resist your divine pressure? How is that possible?”

Remilia showed some interest. Having witnessed the entire process of the God Killing battle, she had gained a deeper understanding of her childhood friend’s power.

“Nothing much, he just had a bit of Divine Blood in him, but it was only activated just now.”

“Oh, I see!” Remilia realized, instantly losing interest. As she encountered more deities, she had learned how these eternal beings could entertain themselves during their moments of boredom.

Randomly coming across a mortal with some Divine Blood was trivial. Those who truly knew how to play could turn all their worshippers into their descendants, thereby elevating the potential of their entire race to some extent.

“Hmm!”

Yingdila responded, then fully immersed herself in what, for her, was a sumptuous meal.

Deities, standing at the pinnacle of all beings, possessed endless life and supreme authority, naturally enjoying the worship of believers and held as the most venerable entities in their hearts.

Such an existence, no matter where they are placed, even in a twice-ascended grand world like Erathia, commanded a place.

While in Erathia, Yingdila had long wanted to taste what deities were like. Unfortunately, the environment of Erathia did not permit her to commit such acts.

A deity could slay another deity, and epics could through violence cause a deity to fall into a deep slumber. However, mortals committing deity-slaying were not permitted and even regarded as taboo.

So, although Yingdila had long possessed the ability to kill deities, she could only hold back, silently enduring. She knew that the moment she devoured any deity, she would naturally become enemies with all the deities of Erathia, with every deity targeting her for elimination.

Because a mortal who kills deities, such an existence, regardless of which faction of gods they belonged to, was not allowed to exist; it was even more despised than heretics.

Thus, Yingdila had quietly waited through the long years, waiting for her keeper, Muria, to take her away from the world based on deities, which had established a relatively perfect order.

Then, over a millennium, she finally saw the result she had been waiting for. She arrived at another grand world not as rich as Erathia and quite fragmented.

Yet Yingdila was not disappointed, for this world contained an abundance of the “food” she desired to taste, and she could eat without bearing too heavy consequences.

Everything was supported by her keeper, Muria. She just needed to quietly follow his instructions, gnawing at his enemies.

Reflecting on the long years she had waited, today’s feast made Yingdila quicken her eating pace by threefold, the Law roaring, endless Order Divine Lightning flashing.
