Chapter 121: Chapter 116 – The World Tree Chapter 121: Chapter 116 – The World Tree “Hesel, do you feel comfortable?” In the grand hall, Muria, holding a book, smiled and looked at the Silvermoon Elf who had just walked in. This elf, who had spent over a hundred years, looked as if a little girl who had just started puberty among humans. Her body started to show the faint curves, but there really wasn’t much to watch.

“Hmph, it’s a waste.” Her originally flowing silver hair was now wet and clung together, laying on the seemingly frail shoulders of the elf. Hesel, who emanated a fresh natural plant aroma, lightly hummed.

“It is a bit extravagant, but it’s not a waste.” Muria argued, then looked at the elf with a teasing smile, “Even if it’s extravagant, you also enjoyed it, didn’t you?”

“It’s not a bit extravagant, it’s very extravagant.” Seeing Muria’s face full of proud smiles, the elf girl couldn’t help showing a sad expression, “How much juice of the Tree of Life does it take to make such a large Pool of Life?”

“I don’t know.” Muria shook his head, “Anyway, my Pool of Life has always been like this, the water has never run out.”

“You’re the real jerk.” Silvermoon Elf Hesel muttered, then seemed to remember something, and glanced at Muria, “You Titans always exploit…”

“Who’s exploiting you? Each time we gave you the corresponding compensation.” Muria glanced at the elf girl, “And you’ve soaked in the Pool of Life before.”

“It was you who asked me to go in.” Hesel retorted weakly. After she said that, her face turned red for a moment.

“You…”

“Alright, let’s not talk about this.” Seeing that Muria was about to mock her, Hesel quickly interrupted, “Muria, when do you plan to learn archery with me?”

“Are you in a hurry?”

“No.”

“Me neither.” Muria placed the book aside and spread his hands out, “So, we have plenty of time. There’s no rush to learn archery.”

“When you’re going to learn exactly?” The elf girl frowned.

“After satisfying my curiosity, I can begin to learn archery with you.” Muria touched his chin.

“What kind of curiosity?”

“I heard that on the Eternal Island of your Elf race, there is a real existence of the World Tree, is that true?”

“Of course.” Hesel was very proud, “I grew up on the World Tree.”

“Really?” Muria looked amazed, “Since birth, I learned about the legend of the World Tree from the heritage memory, so, I am very curious about the World Tree, I want to see it in person, can you take me to see it?”

“You want to see the World Tree?” Elf Hesel hesitated for a moment, then readily agreed, “No problem, I can take you there now.”

“Can we go right now!” Muria was delighted. He certainly wanted to see the World Tree that was a legend in the Dragon Race’s inheritance. He wasn’t lying about that, it’s just that his motives weren’t pure.

Things went more smoothly than he expected, without much effort, he can predict that Muria’s goal of finding the Sword Saint will be achieved soon. Even if out of the core of the Elf Race, the World Tree, there should be no problem with the next core place, the Eternal Tree of Life.

“Cassio.” Muria called his spirit. The spiritaxio with a mature figure, a Loli’s face, and a gentle temperament, immediately condensed a semi-transparent body next to Muria.

“Tell Cassio the coordinates.” Muria pointed at the spirit and said to Hesel: “As long as it knows the coordinates, Cassio can build a Teleportation Array to the coordinate location at any time.”

“Only within this world and its affiliated planes, Muria.” spiritaxio said, reminding him. She was not omnipotent, she had limitations, and she only offered one-way transport.

Crisp and pleasant bird songs could be heard, and in front of him, a few pure white pegasi were pacing through the flower bush. A few butterflies danced in the sky, spreading a faint spirit light.

Below Muria, a plump white rabbit glanced at Muria and Hesel who had suddenly appeared. Its small claws tightly clasp a full pine cone, then it hopped away.

Seeing such a plump rabbit, Muria couldn’t help but licked the corner of his mouth. He hadn’t eaten any meat for several years. During all this time, he maintained his consumption by ingesting high-purity elemental crystals.

“What do you want to do to my pet?” Hesel looked at Muria with a vigilant face and leaned forward to block Muria’s line of sight.

“This is your pet?” Muria asked somewhat surprised, then pointed randomly, looking at a deer that was grazing, “Is this deer also a pet you’re raising?”

“Yes.” Hesel stared at Muria, “Forget about your dangerous ideas, all the animals here are my pets, you are not allowed to touch them.”

“Are they all yours?” Muria laughed, pointed at the ground beneath his feet, “Then is this garden yours?”

“Of course, this is my home.”

“Wow, I didn’t see that coming, this whole garden is yours.” Muria sighed, then changed the subject, “Didn’t you bring me here to see the World Tree? Where’s the tree?”

“We are on the World Tree right now.”

“This is the World Tree?” Muria looked around, there were no particularly tall trees around. Everywhere were meticulously trimmed shrubs and brilliant flower bushes.

“We are standing on a leaf of the World Tree.”

“…” Muria was taken aback, a gust of wind rose under his feet, taking him quickly in one direction. Soon, Muria saw the boundary of this place. The Titan Teenager looked at the void in front of him, and was taken aback, “It’s a semi-plane!”

“But…” Muria stood on the wind beneath his feet, and quickly followed the edge of the void and circled around the garden, “This half-plane is too small.”

The half-plane was really small, Muria hadn’t even finished his words yet, and had already gone around it. Its area was probably a couple of dozen acres, which was kind of embarrassing to be called a half-plane. It would be more appropriate to call it a small space.

“This is a leaf of the World Tree.” Hesel got upset when she heard Muria’s comments, “How big do you want it?”

“Uh.” Muria touched his nose. After thinking a bit, it was clear that the World Tree indeed lived up to the name. Judging from Hesel’s reaction, every leaf probably had a miniature half-plane like this. Therefore, adding them all up, it really was astounding.

“Hesel, does every leaf of the World Tree house an elf?”

“No, many leaves do not have elves living on them,” Hesel shook her head, “Only the Sun Elves and us Silvermoon Elves are allowed to live on the World Tree. With the number of high elves, how can we possibly live on all the leaves?”
