Chapter 118 - 118 113 Demon Breaking

Chapter 118: Chapter 113: Demon Breaking Chapter 118: Chapter 113: Demon Breaking “What are you drinking?” Seeing Hesel’s strength rapidly recovering in such a short span of time, Muria’s eyes sparkled instantaneously. No one would disdain such an item capable of quickly replenishing the depleted power.

For instance, in the legendary battle that Muria had just witnessed, one of the reasons for the nearly-fallen sword saint Ron was the limitation of the human race itself, which made his strength far inferior to that of the near-god race, Titan. His combat endurance was sadly lacking.

If the sword saint Ron had enough potions to quickly replenish and restore his strength… Apart from being able to par his sword skill, in other aspects the word ‘lose’ was inevitable. There would be no change in the outcome, at most it would prolong the battle time.

“Fruit wine I brewed myself.” the silver-haired elf, Hesel, casually replied while his silver eyes were firmly fixed on the approaching Soul-level Great Demon. At the same time, he quickly kept the crystal bottle in his space bracelet, preventing Muria from discerning what the bottle looked like.

Hesel watched the Centaur Demon, who had shattered the magic array in the sky with one axe and was now roaring triumphantly. He again drew the bowstring of his wooden bow adorned with ancient natural spirit runes, forming an arrow similar to the one before.

“Elf!” The moment the arrow was formed, the Centaur Demon felt a strong sense of threat. Its blood-red demonic pupils, as large as millstones, swept towards him. The corners of its mouth curled up, revealing its sharp teeth laden with residues of flesh.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted an elf.” Upon seeing Hesel, the Centaur Demon smirked hideously, licking his lips involuntarily with some excitement. He roared, holding his battle axe and charging towards Muria and Hesel on the mountaintop.

During the charge, this demon became excited. His muscles bulged up, and a faint flame of blood ignited on his black demonic body covered with magic patterns, showing a strong physique. Underneath, four black Soul Intent souls emanating slaughter, destruction, and destructive aura appeared, making his charge even more terrifying.

The ground roared. Every time the hooves of the Centaur Demon fell, a huge pit riddled with cracks would appear. It did not stop after smashing half of the mountains it passed by; it just kept charging through.

“Roar!” The Centaur Demon’s eyes turned even redder, as if they were going to bleed. It roared to the sky, with vivid memories of the time when it had invaded the Material World with a great lord, and recalled the delightful taste of the flesh and souls of various creatures it had savored, especially the elves enriched with the natural Essence, which was simply unforgettable to him.

Seeing the Centaur Demon charging and causing the ground to crack, the young elf maiden’s breathing unwittingly became heavier.

“Don’t be afraid, Hesel,” witnessing the maiden’s reaction, the thunder around Muria became denser, “Concentrate on shooting this arrow. With me here, this demon will not be able to approach you.”

The silver-haired maiden chose to ignore Muria’s seemingly arrogant words. Her eyes were focused on the Soul-level Great Demon rampaging towards them. Her silver pupils were twinkling mysteriously, as if she was searching for the demon’s weakness.

When the demon was less than a thousand meters away from the maiden, the arrow in Hesel’s hand shone to its extreme, like a beam of moonlight, then “Poof!”, the bowstring was released.

“Silver Moon, Demon Breaking!” the elf whispered under her breath.

“Boom!” Air exploded, causing it to boil and roar like thunder. The moment the moonlight broke away from the bowstring, it quickly expanded from a tiny beam into something incredibly huge.

“Roar! How can such an attack hurt me…” the Centaur Demon roared angrily. Holding a large battle axe with both hands, a faint flame of blood erupted all over his body. The bruting demonic power spread out, wrapping around the battle axe, and he swung it up against the moonlight pillar.

However, his roar only made it halfway before it abruptly stopped, for he had lost his head, and thus, had no more chances to howl in rage.

“That kind of attack!” Muria’s face expressed shock as, at the instant the demon swung his axe, he saw very clearly how the thick light rainbow instantly split into more than ten strands, bypassed the battle axe and recondensed in front of the demon. It then smeared onto his ugly face, directly detonating his head.

“I really need to learn that,” Muria muttered.

“Phew!” Seeing the demon instantly killed, the elf girl revealed a bit of relief in her smile. This was her first time utilising her archery skills that she had practised for hundreds of years in actual combat. As for the effect, even Hesel herself wasn’t sure.

“Why are you easing up?” Muria looked at the elf girl in surprise, “There are still two big guys that you attracted over here!”

“Hehe, little guy, your perception is quite good.” Among the corpses everywhere, a snake demon, with a face full of magic patterns and snake scales, twisted her slender waist, slowly grew larger, and her pair of eerie eyes full of cold malevolence stared at Hesel. In her perception, Muria was just a Gold Rank, not worth mentioning at all.

“Little guy! Haha!” Muria sneered sharply, “Hesel, let me deal with this snake demon. You handle the other Soul-Level Great Demon yourself.”

“Another one?” Hesel looked at the six-armed snake demon before her eyes, her face was serious. This was the infamous high-ranking demon from inside the Abyss. But hearing Muria’s words stunned her, causing goosebumps all over her body. She hadn’t sensed the existence of a third Soul-Level Great Demon at all.

“You can’t go on like this.” Seeing the elf girl’s face show confusion and a hint of panic, Muria sighed lightly, “Here’s a hint for you, the other one is a different species of demon, the Blood Lion Demon, an Abyssal Hunter who likes to toy with his prey.”

“Blood Lion Demon, shouldn’t that be a Gold-level demon?” The elf girl anxiously looked around, tightly clutching the longbow in her hand, pulling the bowstring for the third time.

“That’s why I said it’s a different species of demon.”

Every time a demon advances, it has an opportunity to change its form and evolve into a higher-ranking demon. Normally, each evolution should choose to advance one’s own demon rank.

But bizarrely, demons belong to the race of Chaotic creatures with an abnormal mindset, hence, quite a number of demons choose to maintain their original form during advancement instead. Thus, the third demon was one that had advanced but kept its original form, a different evolutionary species of demon.

Of course, this isn’t surprising. Inside the Abyss, even odd things like the legendary Cowardly Demon and legendary Abyss Worm exist. Compared to them, a Soul-Level Blood Lion Demon is fairly normal.

“You better be careful,” Muria undid his transformation magic spell, surrounded by Thunder and spreading Hurricanes, his Titanic True Form with each muscle maintaining the perfect golden ratio appeared.

“I’ll go slaughter that snake demon first.”
