King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 108 - 108 103 Titans Approval
Chapter 108: Chapter 103: Titan’s Approval Chapter 108: Chapter 103: Titan’s Approval “A human Sword Saint wishing to learn sword techniques, I see.” Upon hearing this, a complex expression crossed Muria’s face, “Cassio, construct a magic array, I would like to meet this legendary human.”
“Prince Mureya.”
“Prince Mureya.”
…When Muria arrived at the Five-Color Dragon Castle accompanied by White Tiger Troy, the surrounding giants knelt down one after another to pay homage to him, expressing their respect.
During these six years, Muria had visited Taiji Island frequently, sometimes bringing along the three Red Dragon girls or White Tiger Troy to stay in the White Jade Divine Palace for a while. As a result, the giants were quite familiar with him.
“Where is the human legend?” As soon as he appeared, Muria asked straightforwardly without beating around the bush.
“The gentleman is in the White Jade Divine Palace.” A Storm Giant revealed an undisguised awe and reported to Muria.
“Heh, Troy, I’m even more curious about this human legend now.” Seeing the reverence on the Storm Giant’s face, Muria turned his head and laughed at the White Tiger by his side. “He has even managed to subdue my personal guards.”
“Prince Mureya.” The Storm Giant lowered his head fearfully, “I…”
“No need to say more.” Muria waved his hand, “Anyone who can find this place is no ordinary legend. It’s easy to understand that they have some extraordinary abilities. There’s no need to panic, I don’t blame you.”
“Troy, let’s go.” Muria beckoned the big cat. In front of outsiders, Muria gave Troy due respect, “Come with me to the White Jade Divine Palace to see what kind of style this human legend has.”
“I’ve already seen it.” The snow-white giant tiger muttered softly, but still trotted along, keeping pace with Muria.
“Squawk!” “Squawk!” …Under the escort of a group of Storm Giants riding Giant Pengs, Muria spread his dragon wings and took to the sky with Troy, flying towards the White Jade Divine Palace.
“What is… that?” As they flew over the ever-expanding Giant City, which had been expanding since its establishment, a strong smell of the sea attracted Muria’s attention. He stopped in the air over a large square in the Giant City.
Under the kneeling welcome of many giants, Muria and Troy hovered in mid-air, looking at the sea monster corpse that occupied most of the square and emitted a pungent smell and faint pressure.
You must know, the square under Muria’s feet was large enough to accommodate the activities of the giants, but now, this stinky corpse occupied most of the area.
“The corpse of a legendary sea monster.” Muria squinted at the sea monster’s corpse below, which had been nearly cut in half. In the endless seas, various creatures are bred, including many strange-looking sea monsters. That’s nothing strange.
When it comes to the number of legends, there are as many, if not more, in the sea as on land.
However, this was the first time Mureya had seen the corpse of a legendary creature other than a demon. After all, the Titans are an orderly race, they wouldn’t hunt legendary monsters in the sea for no reason.
“A show of force, huh.” Muria murmured in a language that no one else could understand. He then flapped his dragon wings and headed towards the White Jade Divine Palace with Troy and the Storm Giants.
As for the legendary sea monster corpse on the ground, Muria didn’t bother to take a second look. Sea creatures are always quite whimsical and their shapes, generally are indescribable.
“Where is the human legend?” Muria entered the grand hall of the White Jade Divine Palace, sat on the high throne, and Troy crouched at his side, watching below.
As soon as Muria’s voice fell, countless water elements converged from all directions. An incredibly familiar space fluctuation reached Muria, and an elliptical space gate made out of water flow took shape.
Then, a well-proportioned mermaid, encircled by a clear water stream, holding a magic staff floated out of the space gate and landed in front of Mureya. A faint spiritual pressure enveloped the surroundings, making the grand hall somewhat oppressive.
“Legend.” Muria sat upright, staring solemnly at the blonde, blue-eyed mermaid below.
The graceful mermaid with an exquisitely beautiful face gave a polite smile to Muria, “Day to you, Son of the Titan and Dragon.”
“Day to you, legendary mermaid mage.” Muria replied without arrogance or humility, then looked over at the water-formed portal made by the mermaid mage.
A middle-aged man with an ordinary face stepped through this peculiar spatial gate and appeared before Muria.
“So you are the human who wanted to learn the sword techniques of my Titan race.” Muria looked at the man before him with a touch of surprise. Muria couldn’t help but be surprised. On this man, he couldn’t feel any fluctuations of power.
It was as if a common, insignificant human had appeared before him.
Because, the middle-aged man in front of him looked so ordinary. His hemp clothes were simple and clean, his brown eyes calm as a still pool. Greying hair spread out behind him. Not like the legendary mermaid mage, who emanated a faint oppressive force upon her arrival. This human did not possess a hint of a powerful aura.
The only thing that justified his strength was the sword in his hands. Muria could swear on his dragon bloodline, that this worn, leather-wrapped sword was surely forged from a legendary metal. As to which specific metal, Muria couldn’t ascertain without seeing it up close.
“Yes, I am.” The middle-aged man replied, observing the towering Titan teen seated above him and the majestic white tiger lying beneath his feet, his face remained calm and composed, as if he were just looking at an ordinary boy and a common white cat.
“…” Muria was silent for a moment, then slowly said, “Do you know the prerequisite for learning the martial arts of my Titan tribe?”
“I know.” The middle-aged man nodded. “I must gain the approval of a Titan.”
The Titan Tribe was never a race that hide its skills. In their racial rules, there was never a prohibition against passing on their martial arts to others. On the contrary, there was a provision to actively teach their martial techniques.
But not just any lowly creatures like goblins and gnomes could learn the Titan martial arts if they wanted to. To learn the Titan martial arts, there was only one criterion – the recognition of a Titan.
For the Titans who revered force, a direct trial of strength to gain recognition was the simplest and most direct way, albeit the hardest.
“So, how do you plan on gaining this approval? Human legend?”
“With my sword.” The middle-aged man replied indifferently. The greying-haired swordsman looked at Muria with a hint of disappointment. “However, Titan, you’re underage. You’re not qualified to fight me yet.”
“Doubting my strength, are you?” Muria placed his palm on the armrest of the throne, cut from raw elemental crystals. He perceived the hidden implications in the Swordsman’s words, but did not get angry. This was the truth after all.
The gap between a Gold and a Legend was too significant, more than what bloodline could compensate for. Even if it were a human he was facing, he couldn’t compete with him now. He would need to wait another hundred years or so.
“I wish to challenge your father’s generation, a true adult Legendary Titan. Could you convey my request to them?”
“Challenging a Legendary Titan!” Muria revealed a hint of a smile and looked down at the human beneath him. His resonant voice echoed thunderously throughout the grand hall. “Do you know what you’re saying? Human.”
The legends of the human race were the most numerous in Elasia, but in terms of quality, they were generally the weakest. Humans had too many disadvantages at the starting point and fell behind other races from the very beginning. The number of their powerful fighters could only be said to have been accumulated due to their vast population.
For example, the White Dragon, the weakest among the Five Colored Dragons. This wicked dragon only gets to enter the Legendary stage when it becomes an Ancient Dragon, making it one of the weakest among the dragon race legends.
However, if a human wishes to slay such a Legendary White Dragon, shamed as it is, it would require the combined efforts of five actual legends, who could balance each other. Not only that, they would also have to pay a significant price to complete a feat such as slaying a dragon. That’s the case for the White Dragon, let alone other dragon races.
Thus, the Human Legends looked feeble in the eyes of the other race’s legends. Of course, Human Mage Legends could still win some respect from the other race’s Legends.
However, the legends of human close-combat warriors had a hard time gaining the attention of legendary creatures of other races. Even legendary dragons wouldn’t give them a second look, let alone the Titans.
“Titan and Son of the Dragon.” Just as Muria began to scoff, the first to appear, the legendary Mermaid Mage, uttered words. “This is the human race’s strongest Sword Saint, Sir Ron, one of the strongest legends of the human race. I think he is qualified to challenge a Legendary Titan.”
“Whether he is qualified or not is not for you to decide.” Muria squinted at the mermaid legend who spoke out, “Rather, could you tell me your background, and your relationship with those mermaids who once danced for me?”
“I am the third legendary mage of the Mermaid Royal Court of the Thunderstorm Ocean, Rafael. As for the mermaids who once danced for you, they currently have no relation to my royal court.”
“So it is to say that they had a relationship with your court before..” Muria closed his eyes, sighing deeply. His hand, resting on the armrest of the throne, unintentionally exerted force. The crystal armrest gradually cracked under the rage simmering within Muria. “So the so-called loyalty is all a farce, right?”
“We did not intend to deceive you at all, Titan and the Son of Dragon. Please do not question their loyalty. From the moment they pledged their loyalty to you, they have dedicated everything to you. They would shed their last drop of blood for you, or until their souls return to the arms of the Sea Mother.”
“Is that so.” Muria smirked, a smile that held a hint of mockery and self-mockery. He understood what was going on. The Titan Tribe is the most powerful force in the Thunderstorm Ocean, and many forces in Elasia regard the Thunderstorm Ocean as the territory of the Titans.
But the Titan Tribe doesn’t care about what happens outside the Titan Islands. The real ruler and manager of the Thunderstorm Ocean are actually the Sea Clan, and the vast ocean contains enough resources to support more than ten legends.
These legends, based on their own races, form alliances to serve themselves. They wage wars and plunder each other while simultaneously fear the strongest force in the Thunderstorm Ocean.
Therefore, when Muria was born, sea tribes rooted in the Thunderstorm Ocean dispatched some of their people to pledge allegiance to him, indirectly showing allegiance and goodwill to the Titan Tribe.
