Chapter 1047: Chapter 1034: I Didn’t Expect to Be Worse Than a Dog Chapter 1047: Chapter 1034: I Didn’t Expect to Be Worse Than a Dog “Jelos has started fighting with the Alien King,”
As Muria flew out of the carriage to face the Alien King, the members of the Douglas family inside the carriage also got out. They knew they could not intervene in a battle of this caliber. However, their pride as descendants of a great family did not permit them to flee while Muria was holding off the Alien King, so they could only stand aside.
“That’s the Alien King. My brother shouldn’t be in trouble, right?” The girl with dark long hair was full of worry. In her mind, the Alien King represented the pinnacle of individual martial strength in the world.
Her brother was indeed a natural genius, his progress in the cultivation of martial arts advancing by leaps and bounds to a level that they all could only look up to. But he was still not a match for beings like the Alien King, and her brother still needed time to grow.
At that moment, the first clash between Muria and the Alien King occurred, wave upon wave of white and purple halos spreading out, turning the entire sky into an unpredictable, capricious sea.
“Truly worthy of being Jelos, even the Alien King can’t get the better of him,” said a young man with sincere admiration, as he witnessed Muria’s first strike being evenly matched with the Alien King’s.
Many of the young girls in attendance, upon seeing such a magnificent strike, had stars in their eyes. Their worried faces now displayed looks of admiration.
“If the Alien King can’t get the better of Teacher, might he retreat?” Betty, the young girl, watched the battle above the sky, because she noticed that the Alien King was pausing to communicate with Jelos, apparently saying something. But they were too far away to hear the content of the conversation.
“They’ve started fighting again!”
After the brief exchange whose content was unknown to the onlookers, the Douglas clan members observing the fight saw the Alien King swing down another palm strike. And in response, Muria punched out, achieving results beyond anyone’s imagination.
They watched as the punch, like a radiant flash of brilliance within the dark heaven and earth, instantly pierced through the Alien King’s purple cloud palm and struck him.
“Yes! That hit him,” Victor, who had decided to follow Muria for life, shouted excitedly, as if he himself had landed the blow on the Alien King.
“Unless I’m mistaken, it seems like Jelos just hit the Alien King in the face,” said Robert, who had put on his star armor to assist in watching the battle, his voice laced with uncertainty.
For him, attacking the face of someone like the Alien King, which one could only look up to, seemed too excessive, too dangerous. However, targeting this spot provided them an exotic pleasure.
“You’re not mistaken, Jelos just hit the Alien King’s face.”
“Now the Alien King is going to be thoroughly enraged,” the girl said, looking at the bloodstained chitin shell falling from the sky and showing a worried expression.
Everyone knew that the first and second strikes the Alien King had made were probably casual attacks that did not use his full strength. Now that Muria had injured his face, there was no doubt it would enrage the Alien King.
True to the girl’s words, in the sky, the purple-black clouds stirred up tremendous waves as if the world itself were in anger. Then, within the dense clouds, one after another, purple glow spears condensed out of thin air, bombarding Muria in an unrelenting barrage.
“Big brother!”
“Jelos!”
“Boss!”
…Upon witnessing such a fierce assault from the Alien King, with Muria completely engulfed by the myriad of purple light spears, the audience could not help but cry out in shock.
But in the next moment, sharp white Sword glints burst out from within the sphere formed by the purple glow spears, tearing through the darkness that shrouded the sky and reappearing amid the sky and earth, shimmering, flowering, releasing their unique radiance.
“Don’t worry too much. Jelos definitely still has the strength to spare. He’s still easily handling it. Haven’t you noticed? He hasn’t drawn on our power for the battle yet. Jelos hasn’t reached his limit; he can still contend with the Alien King,” a young man who had graduated from university and was dutifully fulfilling his responsibilities said with composure. In his abdomen, a wheel of pure white Qi was slowly spinning.
This was the result of his choosing to seek Muria and ask him to bestow the seeds of martial power after he had seen Muria slay the five generals of the different species, and after consulting with his own parents.
He had learned from his parents that Muria was the only candidate for the next head of the Douglas family, uncontested by anyone else.
With such news, and the coincidental relationship of comradeship with the next family head, it was natural for him to make use of this connection to advance further and firmly choose his side.
Moreover, he could gain direct benefits, as once Muria returned to the federation to take up the family headship, the frequency of battles would drastically decrease. And since there was no need to fight, there was no worry about power being drawn.
However, he had not expected that on their journey back to the Federation, they would actually be attacked by the Alien King.
“That’s right, Boss is still holding on, he can still fight with the Alien King, truly amazing, worthy of being the Boss I decided to follow for a lifetime.”
“Stop joking around, even though Jelos can currently tangle with the Alien King, he definitely can’t beat the Alien King. Give him ten years, and he might be able to fight or even kill the Alien King, but now it’s too early.”
“The Alien King is really shameless, an old thing of several hundred years old picking on someone who doesn’t even have a fraction of his age.”
“It’s precisely because Jelos has achieved so much at such a young age that he makes the Alien King feel wary. Otherwise, an existence like the Alien King wouldn’t easily make a move.”
“What should we do? We can’t help Muria now, are we just going to watch him fight the Alien King with our own eyes?”
“Don’t worry, such commotion will definitely alarm the Empire, this is still the Empire’s territory, and the Empire won’t ignore this. It won’t be long before Celestial Armor Masters from the Empire will come to support.”
“Celestial Armor Masters, eh? Do we have a chance to see such big figures today? That’s really something to look forward to!”
“What’s there to look forward to? As long as my boss has enough time, he will eventually become a legendary Martial Emperor, beating the so-called Celestial Armor Masters.”
Viktor’s face suddenly showed discontent when he heard someone next to him looking up to the so-called Celestial Armor Masters with admiration. He had already become Muria’s loyal fanboy.
Howl!
Just at that moment, amid the gloomy wilderness, a deep howl resonated, causing everyone to look towards the source of the sound abruptly. They then saw a huge Black Dog enveloped in Flames tear through the thick steel carriage on top of the train and crawl out from inside. Its two forepaws scraping the roof of the carriage, the beast tilted its head back and howled.
Next, everyone watched in shock as the immense Black Dog treaded across the Void, running towards the battle between Muria and the Alien King.
“That dog… is actually running in the Sky.” Viktor, seeing Shifanlin speeding through the Sky leaving a clear trail of Flames behind, gaped with a look of astonishment.
“It’s my brother’s most loyal Black Dog,” the girl said, her face lighting up with immense joy as she saw the Black Dog named Shifanlin joining the fray to support Muria.
“If I remember correctly, only Lord-level Native Species can disregard their race and fly in the Sky. Could it be that this dog has become a Lord?”
“If our eyes aren’t deceiving us, it should be right.”
“Hold on, if even this dog has become a Lord, then what about the other Native Species Jelos has? I remember their strengths are not much different, and this dog was the weakest among them. If even the dog has such strength, the other Native Species can’t be far behind, right?”
As soon as the words were out, everyone saw the train carriages transporting Muria’s pets being torn apart one after another. A Python with a large body and chilly scales slithered through the air; a Giant Bear with a robust body like a small hill trotted through the Sky as if stepping on solid ground…
One by one, Muria’s Native Species joined the battlefield, surrounding the Alien King and supporting him, shocking the onlookers speechless.
“Who would have thought that one day I would be inferior to a dog,” Viktor remarked as he watched Shifanlin, who had just joined the battle and was swiftly knocked down from the Sky, sighing.
“Lord Jenos has truly raised a good dog, it got beat up like that, and it still wants to join the battle!”
Watching the fray, a young man couldn’t help but express his feelings as he saw the huge Black-scaled Dog, which had been knocked to the ground with blood gushing out like it was free, charge back into the Sky as if life didn’t matter.
“Although Shifanlin might be ugly and the weakest in strength, he is truly loyal. He was also the first one to rush out. When I get back to the Clan, I want to raise a Black-scaled Dog too.”
…
While Muria, with his loyal minion Native Species’ consciousness projections, was besieging the Alien King, in the Empire, within the palace complex that was luxurious like a royal palace.
In a pool as vast as a lake, a young man embraced on both sides by beauties looked at the information in front of him and let out a cold snort before leaping up,
“The Alien King has entered into the heart of the Empire, audacious indeed. They must not regard us old timers highly, huh? Hmph, since they dare to come here, they better prepare to stay.”
After saying that, the young man put on a set of thin, almost pathetic-looking Black Armor. Then, with a push of his hand, the Space collapsed and shattered. Next, he stepped into the Space Rift and headed towards the coordinates given by the Empire.
