Chapter 103 - 103 100 The Nature of the Dragon
Chapter 103: Chapter 100: The Nature of the Dragon Chapter 103: Chapter 100: The Nature of the Dragon “Thump!” In Muria’s bedroom, Clodia, completely engrossed in a book on a pile of books, moved her ears, then turned to the three red-haired loli who were already sound asleep on top of the books.
“Muria’s back.” Clodia turned her head back, continued reading the abstruse magic book, and announced without lifting her head.
“Where?” At Clodia’s words, Renata, who was in deep sleep, immediately opened her eyes and sat up, looking a little excitedly around, searching for that familiar figure.
“Muria’s back!” Unlike the excited Renata, the other two female dragons also opened their eyes in an instant. However, they were purely startled awake. Cynthia and Jessica sat up in panic, picked up the books beside them in a bit of a panic, posed as if reading after making a pretense of it, and surreptitiously glanced around.
Then, the three female dragons found that the great hall full of weapons hung on the walls was empty. Apart from them, there were no people and no familiar figures at all.
“Clodia, why did you trick us?” Cynthia, not seeing Muria’s figure, complained to Clodia, who had white hair and eyes.
“Hmph, White Dragon, don’t think that just because Muria favors you, you can tease us indiscriminately.” On the other hand, Jessica didn’t mince words, “Remember, you’re just a lowly White Dragon.”
As soon as the words fell, an icicle smeared Jessica’s face, directly shooting the petite dragon loli into the air, forming an elegant parabola, and hitting the ground.
“Roar, Clodia!” Jessica roared with anger as she hit the ground, activated the shape-shifting spell, and restored herself to her nearly twenty-meter-long Red Dragon body, “You’re looking for death!”
“Even if I am a White Dragon, I am not one you can insult.” Seeing the gaping Red Dragon, Clodia put down the book, stood up, and didn’t show weakness. She waved her small hand, and ice spears nearly five meters long quickly congealed beside her, directly pointing at Red Dragon.
“No fighting is allowed here!” Just as swords were being drawn and a fight was about to break out, Cassio, who oversees everything in Muria’s courtyard, took shape in the stone hall.
When Cassio appeared, the ice spears beside Clodia shattered inch by inch, turning into specks of ice and dissipating in the air. Within Muria’s residence, Cassio holds the “Forbidding Magic” power.
Underneath Jessica, who had her mouth wide open, showing her fangs, wanting to spew dragon breath, a sealing magic array shone with earth-yellow spiritual light, a terrifying gravity acted on this angry Red Dragon, pressing her body to the ground, making it difficult for her to move.
“Clodia didn’t trick you.” Cassio glanced at Jessica, who couldn’t even lift her claws, “Muria is indeed back, but he is now injured and is in the Pool of Life.”
“I just heard the sound of falling into the water, and kindly reminded you.” Clodia looked expressionlessly at the Red Dragon who was pressed to the ground by the terrifying gravity and could not move, but was still staring at her angrily with her fiery lava-like dragon eyes.
After speaking, no matter the jesting Cynthia beside and Renata who just wanted to dissuade but was stopped froze, Clodia took her seat back, picked up the book, as if nothing had happened, and continued to read, with the overbearing aura of a scholar pervading the air.
“Cassio, can I go see Muria now?” Seeing the calm hall, Renata carefully asked the spirit floating in the air.
“Yes.”
“Great.” Dragon Loli cheered and jumped off the pile of books full of excitement, rushed out of the hall and headed for the location of the Pool of Life.
“I’ll go take a look too.” Seeing Clodia, the top student dragon with her usual complexion reading a book beside her, Cynthia cautiously said to Cassio after she jumped off the pile of books and followed Renata’s steps closely…..
“Muria, are you hurt?” Muria, whose entire body was submerged at the bottom of the pool, felt a warm and comfortable feeling from all over his body, but not long after soaking, he heard a somewhat anxious voice.
“I’m fine, don’t worry.” Hearing that voice, Muria exhaled a bubble of bubbles somewhat helplessly, then floated to the surface from the pool, showing his head, and looking at the red-haired loli standing by the pool.
“But, you’re bleeding.” Renata looked at Muria with teary eyes, pointed at the few strands of faint golden bloodstains in the pool, and said weakly. In the emerald pool, those few strands of faint golden bloodstains were extremely conspicuous.
“Um, isn’t it just a few drops of blood?” Muria glanced at the pale golden bloodstains, laughed a bit disdainfully. That should be the blood he shed during the battle with Michaela. When he entered the pool, it fell into the water and congealed without dispersing.
“Muria, you’ve never bled before.” Despite Muria’s casual attitude, Renata still looked as if she was about to cry, looking extremely upset and sorrowful.
Because, in her memory, Muria was a symbol of invincibility. Even if her brothers and sisters united to attack him, they could not harm him. Faced with giants whose strength was several steps higher, Muria easily won the battle. In the memory of Dragon Loli, Muria is the strongest.
“Muria, you’re hurt.” Cynthia, who had followed, came to the nearly tearful Renata’s side, her little mouth slightly opened in surprise as she looked at the pale-golden bloodstain in the pool.
“It’s just a minor injury, and it’s already completely healed.” Muria rubbed his temples. After coming to the Titan Clan Lands, especially when undergoing Heloise’s intensive training, getting injured was commonplace. He had gotten used to it, but the little female dragons who had just arrived at the Titan Clan Lands, struggled to accept the fact that he was often injured.
However, after the intensive training ended, the instances of Muria’s injuries drastically decreased. In a Gold Rank combat, very few Titans or Exotic Beasts could harm him.
Among Gold rank creatures, very few could harm Muria. One of them, whom Muria was smitten with at first sight, was the Blazing Sky God Descendant, Michaela. She had inflicted the most injuries and was the most relentless.
“Sigh, try to get injured less in the future!” Muria looked at the two dragon Lolis transformed into human form, thinking worriedly, “I really can’t stand this.”
“Oh, right, how are your magic studies going?” Muria raised an eyebrow at the two dragon Lolis who were worrying about him, while also casually showing interest in their learning progress.
On hearing Muria’s question, Cynthia and Renata froze. When Muria was around, they could force themselves to read the difficult magic books.
But as soon as Muria left, without the restraint, they directly entered sweet dreams. For dragons, sleeping is obviously more appealing than studying the complex magic.
“Sigh.” Seeing the expressions on the faces of the two delicate dragon Lolis, Muria sighed quietly. Just from their expressions, he knew what they were doing while he was battling Michaela for a day and night at Cloud City.
Laziness is a common trait among dragons. After all, they can become stronger just by sleeping comfortably.
If the giant dragon under his supervision is this lazy, what would become of the Five Colored Dragons he raises outside?
“Splash!” Thinking of this, Muria crawled out of the pool, drops of water rich in life energy dripping from his robust Titan body.
“I’m going to see the Five Colored Dragons.” Muria dressed, “Do you want to come with me?”
“Yes.” Cynthia’s eyes sparkled looking at Muria who was getting dressed. After Muria had dressed, the female dragon, who was already in her breeding season, still had an unsatisfied expression on her face, “Just in time to see how my three brothers are doing.”
“I want to go too.” Renata at the other side also raised her hand and weakly said.
Thus, Muria, with the two Dragon Lolis, left their residence and headed downhill. Their residence was built at the top of a majestic mountain.
A year ago, Muria used every method he could, spending a lot of time and energy, transporting all the giant dragons to the Titan Clan Lands.
However, except for the three Female Red Dragons who can use the Shape-shifting Spell and the Academic Overlord Dragon Clodia, who were allowed to live in the main hall, the rest of the dragons were thrown by Muria onto the mountain and their active range was determined. They were forbidden from leaving the mountain where the courtyard was located.
This was for the sake of the Five Colored Dragons’ lives since most of them were at the Silver Rank and at the bottom of the food chain in the Titan Clan Lands. Muria was worried that if a dragon wandered off, it would bump into other Exotic Beasts or Titans and might be killed casually, or be eaten by a random beast as food.
Muria silently looked at the scene before his eyes, three dragon caves side by side, carrying a faint smell of sulfur and surrounded by burn marks.
He wondered, these Dragons were eternal life beings with wisdom comparable or superior to humans, why did they prefer to burrow holes like ordinary wild beasts for their dwellings rather than build a decent residence?
Following the scent, Muria, after shrinking down his size, led the two dragon Lolis into one of the dragon caves. What they saw was a huge dragon with brilliant red scales lying on a huge rock that had been heated red by its high body temperature, fast asleep.
Muria walked up, raised his foot and kicked the head of the Red Dragon Auston, “Auston, you guy, you’re actually asleep? Have you finished studying magic?”
The Red Dragon Auston was fast asleep and could feel something hitting him. In a daze, Auston opened his eyes a slit and saw a big foot kicking towards him. Without hesitation or consideration, the Red Dragon instinctively opened his mouth with fangs and bit down.
“Clang!” The sound of collision between hard objects was heard, Auston’s bite did nothing to hurt the foot kicking him, instead, his own fangs were shaken painfully.
In the midst of the pain, the sleepiness of the Red Dragon was completely gone. Opening his eyes, he immediately saw the figure he hated to the point of gnashing his teeth.
